This was a great romantic short story that has everything in it to warm your heart as well as enough naughty bits to cause you to nibble on your bottom lip! Can’t wait to read more from this author!.

Moves on and off the court
Deck His Balls by Avery Shaw is part of the multi-author Spice and Seduction - A Steamy Romance Christmas series. This was the third book which tells the story of each of three friends, Jasmine, Caress and Tricia. This story is about Tricia Washington, a WNBA All-Star, and Joel Mitchell, Caress's brother. Tricia has agreed to be auctioned off, well a date of the winners choosing that is, in the annual Serenity County Holiday Charity Auction. She is not particularly happy about it but she has a plan which will see the winning bid coming from one of her friends. But that plan goes awry before she hits the stage and instead it is Joel who has the highest bid. These two have been crushing and dunking on each other for some time now but never taking things off the court. When Joel decides his date will be Tricia teaching him some moves on the court things will get hot, as the man has some moves himself. Will those moves translate to off the court also....my money is on a big slamdunk of yes.

Deck His Balls is a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, small town, girl gets her best friend's brother, Christmas romance. Tricia is a WNBA player reluctantly participating in a Christmas charity auction. Joel is a hunky CEO and billionaire who is also her best friend's older brother. The two have been crushing on each other for some time. When Joel wins her at the auction, he asks for a basketball lesson, with hopes of winning her heart. These two had insanely hot chemistry, and we got a great HEA. This was a fun and spicy, feel good, Christmas read.

Joel buys Tricia at a charity auction and only wants her to give him some basketball training since she’s an WNBA all star. But he really wants more since he’s loved her since he met her. Tricia is afraid of her feelings but really loves Joel. Can these two get together off the basketball court? There were references to others in this story that I knew nothing about since this is the first I have read in the series. But it is a feel good story, sweet and steamy and I did enjoy it.

She's a WNBA player and is in an awkward situation when her friends plan fall through at the last minute. Stuck in an auction she didn't want to be in she has no choice but to weather through it but Joel her best friend's brother and the man she has secretly been in love with comes through and wins the bid. He is captivated with Tricia as well. Will their date have these two getting on the same page about their feelings and lead them along the path to happiness.

This is the first book I have read from Avery Shaw. I enjoyed it. It was short and to the point, resulting in a nice change of pace from longer books.
Joel and Tricia have been friends for a year, and they each have feelings for the other. A Christmas Charity Auction changes the relationship between them.
Will they be able to open theirselves to love? Will they give into the chemistry that they share? Will her best friend and Joel's sister react to the relationship? Let's finish reading to find out!

Charity Auctions can be fun.
Short steamy story from Avery Shaw is great, humorous and funny. Easy to read in one go, well written and entertaining. Business man and all stars basketball player, Tricia and Joel are not strangers, but when at the Charity Auction Joel pays high amount for their date, that turns out in more than one.

OMG 😱 this was a fantastic story. It was a page turner and the suspense was steamy and romance. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. The chemistry between them was spicy hot and the physical attraction was hot and tender. A love affair to remember in the Christmas moment.

The title wasn’t the only fantastic thing about “Deck His Balls”. This was one enjoyable, steamy love story. The plot was original, and the characters had depth. This was a standalone book with no cliffhanger.

The connection and chemistry between these two was strong and good, I enjoyed seeing them together, take a chance on something new between them and being open and honest with each other. I could have happily continued reading about them.

Tricia is participating in a charity auction by having a date with the highest bidder. Joel is determined to be the guy with the highest bid. And he is. He has known Tricia for a while because she is friends with Joel's sister. This book has a low-drama plot with plenty of spice. Excellent book!

Holiday romance and friends to lovers meet in a short novella. Avery Shaw does a great job, as usual, with a short, spicy read. The character interaction is on point and the plot is perfect for a shorter read.
