Chantél Swart's writing has been described as uplifting, heartfelt, and... heartbreaking. The intellect displayed in her poetry both inspires and humbles readers.

"Simple but not simplistic"; her poetry and prose are compelling and there are plenty of layers to experience. Her writing is deeply personal, yet universally felt and understood by readers.

Overthought, her debut collection, is a series of neurotic "overthoughts", and sold copies is multiple countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Denmark and Australia. The collection is an introspective journey and a pursuit of self-acceptance.

Her second collection, I Write Riddles and Remedies, offers up raw, unfiltered emotion and thought-provoking ideas.

Chantél Swart is a unique and well-defined voice in the Literature world, and is definitely worth the read!

I love a poetry collection with a good arc, or flow of the poems that makes the book feel like a journey. C. Swart's "I Write Riddles and Remedies" is a collection that takes the reader down the path of falling in love and the heartbreak that followed for her. She alchemized her emotions into relatable works of art. I enjoyed the breaks in the story of ethereal feelings for feeling one with the cosmos, and observations made in nature. A great book to cozy up to with a cup of tea in the evening.

Just finished I Write Riddles and Remedies by C. Swart—5 stars, no question. Incredible poetry that cuts deep in the best way. A few pieces hit so close to home, I had to sit with them for a while. Highly recommend if you’re into raw, resonant verse. #Poetry #IndieAuthors #BookReview #RiddlesAndRemedies

Each piece was enjoyable and felt like it was pulled out of my own head, things I needed to see from someone else, to know I'm not alone.
