“I won’t be reduced to a broody hen,” Elegy flared. He made to shove at his husband’s chest, but Rusa easily caught his much smaller hands and pinned them down to the bed.

“But you would be the most adorable broody hen,” Rusa said. “All swollen with eggs.” He thrust deep.

“Much more pleasing to the eye than your shrunken self,” he teased. “Such light things, you lark-kind. Light as little turtledoves. I think I would prefer you clutch-heavy and giving suck.” He envisioned it. “Just as a chieftain’s wife ought to be. Too full-bellied to fly away.”

* * *

Silver-winged, fiery-haired Elegy has been taken as an unwilling consort by his roc-blooded brother, Rusa. After having slain their father, the former chieftain, Rusa has seized power to go with his new bride.

Elegy rebels in his new position until Rusa finally puts his foot down. A clutch of eggs, he thinks, will help his brother-wife’s temperament.

Beget is a short work of high fantasy MM omegaverse erotica. It was previously written for my Patreon supporters and shared under the title Elegy.

It contains brother-brother incest, forced marriage, dubcon, mpreg (in the flavor of eggpreg), pregnant sex, sex during labor, egg-laying, bratty sibling behavior, and some surprisingly warm and fuzzy first-time parent vibes.

Daniel May writes MM romance and erotica with a focus on dark contemporary, kink, and BDSM. Originally a lover of sci-fi and fantasy, he turned his sights on the erotic as a joke that went over surprisingly well.

Unique and fills my black heart with so many wonderfully dark things.
It's a tiny bit difficult to understand what's actually going on at first, but that's also what makes Daniel May's writing so unique. He always puts his stories into such wonderful words.

Daniel May: I write my omegas with two holes, because the idea of self-lubing assholes and slimy butt-babies is horrific to me … You’ve got your typical butthole, and then you’ve got something roughly analogous to a vagina, though that word is never used. It’s a self-lubricating hole used for reproductive sex and birth.
I love this clarification 🤭
And for all the dark things in this story, there is also some very nice humor.

Rusa finally, very gently, pulled back the folds that protected Elegy’s male sex, allowing it to slip free into open air. Brought to full arousal, it was recognizable as a cock, albeit not one that would have any great penetrative effect.

“I do love your moody little prick. Moody… but honest. I always know you missed me when he comes out to say hello.”

“I missed you,” murmured Rusa, his words vibrating on Elegy’s shivering flesh. “You disloyal, deceitful thing. Tell me if you like this.”

Five eggstatic stars

I am absolutely rounding this up to five stars because Daniel May always brings new anatomy, and this time it's tripartite anatomy. Honestly, anything you haven't thought of, May will think of it.

This was awfully cute for a forced marriage, forced breeding, aggressive sex, bro-cest, fucking next to dead bodies novella! Beautiful cover, set in the same high fantasy world as Liege, Serpentine, and Salt n Vinegar Chips.

Did I mention there are wings? Fantasy species called haebacks, ancient bird people with wings. If you're a fan of winged cocoon sex, this has that.

There's the massive brother who killed his father and took power, forced his much smaller brother (with the triple anatomy special) into marriage, and wants him heavy and swollen with eggs. Once his brother has a clutch, biology will take over (much like the biology-controlled ruts, heats, and fated mates in omegaverse), and he will have a compliant broody hen, too full of eggs to fly away.

Short erotica at around 50 pages, just a chunk of a story, it's a glimpse into that fantasy universe May has created. Personally, I love that May is releasing his previously published for subscribers only on Patreon, on Smashwords of course.

Highlights:

The human grunting on top of him was as coarse and dog-low as they came.

Elegy let out a fierce growl as Rusa stepped over the dead hero and climbed onto the bed, but it was only an obligatory growl — a growl reminding them both that all of this happened with his loathing and dissent.

It was not like the human man’s cock had been, round-headed with a silly noodle shaft. 🍝😆

This was the cock of a roc-blooded, full-sexed male, somewhere between horse and dragon. Long, vigorous, and thick as an arm.

“That collection of corpses outside keeps growing,” said Rusa conversationally. “Tell me; have any of them managed to satisfy your needs?”

Love this universe!!

4.5 stars. So. good! I found the world building fascinating and the dynamics between Elegy and Rusa to be intriguing and a bit sweet with all of its toxicity. I liked both characters quite a bit. Rusa is super protective and possessive and Elegy is head strong and likes to push Rusa’s buttons. This is incredibly short but May did a great job making everything work. Of course I wish this were longer but May’s books always leaving me wanting more by the end.
