So ummm were we warned before reading? Yes! Did that make a difference? No! This was beyond pearl clutching. Without giving away too much I love when a dominant man meets the woman that challenges his ways & habits. Nyrie had Beamer gone and I loved it! However he remained a BDE 🥷🏾 & made her fold of course! I do hope their flame reignites in the next part but it will be interesting to see how they proceed. If you aren’t into Cliterature which is my new favorite word to describe us that enjoy smut this one is definitely not for you! 🥵🙂↔️😮💨🔥

I read both books in this series. This was a good series. The 2nd book was better all around.
I could really go in on this author for kinda lack of responsibility of the lifestyle but she rectified it in book 2 with explaining the rules and consent better.
This little series had a very loose storyline that made it more a novella instead of a SMUT read. The author can refine her writing skills but they were better in book 2. A little amateurish in the writing but honestly, I got over it quickly.
This is a 3.5 in SPICE.... nasty as spice. I really appreciated the MCs here. He made no apologies that he loves big women, and not the super curvy with flat stomach plus size women....no he liked biggg girls, stomach hanging, extreme stretch marks....cellulite girls. And... I loved it. The female, she was like, yup, I'm fat as hell....so what? Loved it.

I felt so bad for Nyrie her father was an abuser, bully, and pimp the way he conducted his business in order to get what he wanted by using her is going to leave her mentally, and physically scarred, then she's introduced to Beamer who has his own issues but after a visit with his mom, then to hear his dad's side of the story makes him that much more upset for what his mom took from him but to find out Nyrie's dad had a hand in setting his mom up makes him want to take revenge that much more.
Since he had Nyrie in his home their feelings started to grow but he was unsure of what he was feeling so he decided it was best to let her go, but was it the right choice and would he be able to truly let go? Then he needs to figure out what's going on with Tip?

I hate that their outside life keeps them apart. The connection has been there from the start! When her heart broke I felt it & it makes me wonder what it will do to her character. This was an absolutely stunning read. It’s a stand alone, but I love to see the characters from her previous reads pop out. Beamer’s storyline is very intriguing. He is not your Romeo, so don’t go into this looking for fluff. A spicy time was had, but I expect nothing less from Miss Masterpiece.

I honestly appreciate how Nyrie and Beamer’s situationship developed. It wasn’t ALLL butterflies and roses but it also wasn’t all SAPPY (lol) either.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Beamer 🫣 he just didn’t do it for me & I genuinely didn’t see any redeeming qualities in him. Him & Nyrie didn’t really click in my eyes. I couldn’t truly feel any chemistry between them. I did enjoy the story surrounding Beamer’s parents & Nyrie’s dad. That is ultimately what kept me reading because I wanted to see how things played out on that end.

I actually enjoyed this one and it might have taken me out my slump. I must say it wasn’t my comfort zone so the connection couldn’t come and there was so much storytelling for me that seemed to drag but the ending sold me and I know I’ll eat book two up because it’s a second chance and what’s better than Antonio groveling

Masterpiece was nasty for leaving us hanging

Read part 1 & 2. I wasn’t t sure how I would feel about Beamer but these reads delved deeper into him (it all started in childhood). I appreciated in part 2 when he explains the BDSM lifestyle to Nyrie who had such a sheltered life. I love a spicy love story! ❤️🔥
