Hang on for the ride of your life! We Are All Sinners features the sassy, determined, indomitable Evie LeBlanc, and her second chance at love, the devilishly handsome, protective, and part of the Trinity that will take over the Saints, Brixon Blaze.

The story intricately weaves the culture, spirit, and history of New Orleans around the life of Evie, Brix, and their lively group of friends (whom I cannot wait to see more of in their own stories!). And let’s not forget all the awesome witchy vibes from Evie, the books resident witch!

This book is filled to the brim with retribution, righting wrongs, and taking down people who stand against them; giving it a dark and angst feel with a sprinkling of mystery.

But there is also the tugging of heartstrings as Brix and Evie find that they are each other’s missing pieces and all the love and devotion to each other - even when the ancestors are demanding their pound of flesh for their relationship.

And the spice! Woo! Phenomenal with a wide variety of situations, so it is never dull or repetitive.

Wow! I have no words to describe this! This book is SO good! It has the romance, the bad a$$ main female character Evie. She’s a witch. She tough and you don’t want to piss her off. You have Brixon, who is a powerful member of the Saints. They end up meeting up “again”when they are in their older 20s. And it all comes back to them. They were once in love. There is a curse and this is what will bring them all together. They are trying to break it!! I loved the characters in this book. The characters in the Broken series were in this one too. CR, knows how to mess with your emotions!! 😭

This book is the first one I’ve read by this author and it is a dark, addictive paranormal romance. I got hooked almost immediately. Brixon’s complicated world, full of secrets and morally grey characters, makes the story feel intense and high-stakes, while Evie’s wit, courage, and clairvoyant gift add personality and tension and make her a fun heroine to follow. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and their relationship develops in a way that’s both exciting and emotionally engaging.

The world-building is rich, with layers of lore, side characters, and supernatural rules that give the story depth. I appreciated how the author balanced the romance with mystery and suspense, keeping the stakes high throughout. That said, the complexity can feel a bit heavy at times and some twists lean on familiar paranormal romance tropes, which made parts of the story predictable. Despite that, the book succeeds in delivering a gripping, engaging read with enough drama, magic and steamy moments to keep you hooked from start to finish. If you like dark, steamy paranormal romance with some intrigue, this one’s worth it.

We Are All Sinners is one of the best books I've read so far this year. It is a dark, paranormal, romance book that will have you hooked from the moment you start reading. Evie and Brixons story will have you laughing out loud one minute and crying the next. Evie looses her mom and grandma and Brixon losses his dad. They are each given a letter that they are to open in the event of death. It's through this letter that Brixon learns of Evie and the fact they were in love when they were teens. He also learns of a curse that was put on them and it's up to them to try and break it. This book is full of secrets, twists and turns and it will keep you reading to the end. The ending I did not see coming and it made me say wth. I still haven't I gave this book a five-star because it was good and I just love Evie and Brixon. They are a great couple.

This book has my heart. I wish I could re read it again for the first time. I still get into my feelings when I see anything pertaining to We Are All Sinners. This book was beautifully written. The FMC Evie is sassy, strong and the type of woman who wont take no crap from anyone. Her gators Mini Pearl and Bo Jangles are so freaking amazing! Brixton is the MMC and he is yummy. He is also strong willed and refuses to back down from anything especially when it involves Evie. He is one of the main men in the Saints Society. I love how we got little cameo’s of characters from the Broken Series C.R. Johnson has wrote. The spice in this book is delicious as well. Check your triggers always.

This was a long one, but so worth it! It was my first read by CR J, and I’m officially hooked. The writing was just chef's kiss—I loved it!

Brixon and Evie were written so perfectly. Their chemistry was off great along with the sass, spice, and suspense hitting all the right notes. 🔥🖤 Evie brought that perfect mix of fire and sweetness, while Brixon was everything you want in a hero—intense and irresistible.

A fast-moving and interesting pnr romance with layers of lies, love, lust, intrigue and a marrying of past and present as families intermingle and destinies play out. It is enjoyable and has a zest to it that is attractive and compelling. I loved Brixon and Evie, as well as their friends who all play an integral part in the events as they unfold. The Saints have a job to do and promises to keep, which they do with style!
I have enjoyed this twisty, hot tale and found myself immersed in this world. 💖💖💖💖

This is my first read by C. R. Johnson and I was pleasantly surprised. The whole sinners side and what they are is a cool thing that isn’t commonly seen in stories. With this story you will enjoy secrets revealed, love, lust, and banter. Briton is most girls dreams for a hero along with Evie’s spice and sweetness was everything. I highly recommend and cannot wait for the next one.

This book broke my heart, but I loved it! Brix and Evie are so amazing and they have gone through so much in their lives, but their love is unconditional. I couldn't put this book down. It interconnects with the Broken series, and all the characters in it come together in this book and it's fabulous. If you like witches, morelly grey men who love their women above anything, spice, curses, and fate. This book is for you!!

A paranormal, dark, twisty thrill ride and I absolutely ate this up!!! This was my 4 th read of the author and she does NOT disappoint. This is an interconnected stand alone to her You broke me first series (if you Love Sin and Savy, they have a part to play) Brix off top… hey Daddy whewww … after his dad passes he is given a final task as he will take over for his father in the Saints. Protect Evie at all costs!! Evie, beautiful, witty, deadly but born a witch and takes no sh!t from anyone, she can absolutely take care of herself. Together they have to figure out how to break a curse without losing each other. A beautiful love story, def like nothing I’ve read before and I could not stop reading. It’s the ending you’ll never see coming!!! Well freaking done!!!

There are heartfelt moments throughout "We Are All Sinners", but C.R. Johnson was able to create dark angsty atmosphere.

This book is a masterpiece. Brixton might very well be my new book boyfriend. So it starts off with him receiving a letter from his father after his father‘s death. That letter reveals so many secrets and starts him on a journey, a journey that will reveal to him, his past, present and future. It takes him to a girl the beautiful Evie and she is so sassy and so funny and everything you want in an FMC. I don’t want to say too much to spoil. I need you to learn her on your own. There is heartbreak, magic, love, secrets, lies, unexpected emotions and spice all in one book . Let us not forget about the Saints and all their debauchery, this book is magical literally and metaphorically speaking. I definitely could read this book over and over and not get tired of it. One last thing, the spice is top notch I mean like legit spicy. They have a group of friends and I can’t wait to learn about their stories, but here’s the kicker it has an ending that I know will have your jaw hitting the floor. I highly recommend this book. 100% five stars.!!

This is the story of Evie and Brixon. This is also a paranormal romance and I don't think that I realized that until I got to reading it. Brixon has just lost his father and sure never expected to get an envelope of truths that could turn his world upside down. This will lead him on a path or protecting. Evie has lost all of her family and has nothing left of family except for the her cat, a really busy shop and her very best friend. When Brixon come into her life life a hurricane she was not ready for him. However he knows exactly who she is and what he has to do. He is also on a journey that is going to reveal his past, present and future. Evie is so so sassy and really funny. There is so much to learn in this book that you have to experience it for yourself. What a spicy little experience it is to. You can't go wrong with this book.

A heartfelt but spicy paranormal, second chance romance story. Brix and Evie are great characters and are very well written. After his father's passing, Brix is given a letter written from his father with a final task. He must protect Evie and keep her safe. Evie, is a witch who is sassy and can definitely hold her own. This story is full of mystery and secrets. After Evie and Brix meet and the memories of their past resurface, together, they must try to find a way to break a curse that was put on them. There is hurt, betrayal, suspense, mystery, and love. This story is very unique. I did find myself having a hard time keeping focus at some parts of the story, but when it picked it, it definitely sucked me in. Brix and Evie are great together and have amazing chemistry. This was definitely and intriguing story.

This is the first in a new series and this is Brixon and Evie’s journey.
Brix is the new leader of the Saints, which is a powerful organisation built on dark secrets, and the exploitation of women. After his father’s passing, his father’s dying wish has Brix searching for someone from his past. Evie is an outcast, who has the rare gift off clairvoyance, and there is an instant connection when she meets Brix.
This is a well written story with family, dynamics, friendships, emotions, angst, mystery, paranormal, lies, truths, secrets, visions, revelations, culture, history, love, and a dark legacy which leads to a haunting, and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

As someone raised in the south it is so fun to get to read a book with the themes and legends of New Orleans laced throughout. This book is supernatural and spicy. The characters were written perfectly and I enjoyed watching their story unfold. The ending was out of this world. Overall this book is 5 out 5! It’s a perfect read, especially for the fall/halloween season. I highly recommend this one!!

We Are All Sinners was my first read by CR Johnson and I enjoyed her writing style, the world and characters she created.
Brixon and Evie chemistry was off the charts. Tons of sassy attitude from Evie, she’s not putting up with any BS. Brixton is intense, protective and irresistible, the perfect match to Evie. Lots of spice, suspense and will keep you reading until the end.

This is the first book in the 𝘚𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴, but can be read as a standalone. This was my first book by C.R. Johnson, but it won’t be my last.

I really enjoyed this story, it’s the perfect blend of romance and suspense. I absolutely love Evie, she’s so sassy, and I’m here for it. Brix 🥵 my newest book boyfriend!! Definitely recommend

witches and saints

I really liked this story it wasn’t necessarily a Pnr in my opinion but it had some interesting elements. My heart broke when evie lost her life and brixon went with her to the afterlife. I was hoping she would make it. I hope to see more of these characters and find out who is behind everything. I feel like there is so much more to this story!
