I'm a fan of the Strong family. Their ( Kael and Lish) story was a beautiful beginning and ending. Loved the glimpse back into their beginning. A health scare that held the family at a stand still. Not knowing if Kael would pull through. It was God's faithfulness! Their children/spouses, grandchildren, and great grands were all there and gathered around.
What's Love Got To Do With It? EVERYTHING!
Both the patriarch and matriarch showed their family how to love and what love should look like during both the good and bad times.
Kael and Lish's love for self, each other, and family is a great example for future couples. The story is also a reminder to love on family and not take each other for granted because tomorrow is not promised.
Excellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. Kael and Alisha’s (Lish) love story is a tale for the ages. As she reminisced, over the 51 years of marriage while in crisis. The love they shared with each other and their children, grands and great grands, is beautiful. This was a heartfelt story that warmed my insides. A classic forever love featuring seniors. It was beautifully written.
This book was so so good. It was great reading about the family. I’m usually cool but this book had me in my feelings. The love between Kael and Lisha: you can feel it through the pages! The hunting cabin, the creek and the yellow dress!! Ms. Niobia Bryant you wrote this book!!! Excellent
I'm a huge fan of the Strong family series and connecting books. Ms. Bryant didn't disappoint with this book. I love that we got an insight into Strong kids growing up. Love the love that Meal and Lisha possessed. I enjoyed getting the updates on the grand kids and friends of the family.
I am so glad to spend more time with the Strongs. I've truly missed them, and I cried right along with Alisha. All of the kids have grown up, and I'm waiting for books about them to catch up on the now middle-aged Strong kids: Kade, Kahron, Kaeden, Kaleb, and Kat. Please don't make us wait too long.
What a beautiful story. Although the patriarch fell ill, I loved Lisha reminiscing about different points of their 50 year love. It was wonderful catching with the family but also other people from the same town like the Jamisons. Wonderful story.
This book had me on pause. I was truly hoping for a full book, but as the story unfolds I was happy it was a novella. My hurt can't take it because Karl is my book husband. I felt Lish's pain.
I was really concerned about this one. The Strongs are my family. Thank you Niobia for continuing this legacy. There is nothing like faith and strong love..
