That’s how teams should work. The tales of the exploits and adventures of the Agile team are enough to keep me up nights. Once again they are off on a mission in a foreign land, this time to rescue a missing damsel. The characters are quickly and succinctly developed. There are plenty of intriguing and dangerous team member to spice up the story. Lots of page turning action. A dash of sexual tension to keep things interesting. The heroine is mysterious and stubborn, just keeping track of her is a challenge. So happy the Agile Security team is back in action!!

Ok, you know how you get introduced to a supporting character in a book, and you think to yourself…”self, that character needs a book” he/she is that great? Well Beast was one of those characters for me and I’m thrilled to say his book is fabulous! Beast and Camile just fit and are so fun to read. Jenna Gunn’s books are always exciting, sexy and hilarious and this one totally fits in all those categories. These two were the perfect couple for the new Covert Mission series…can’t wait for all the others…starting with Evan…WOW!.

Former Seals on a mission for Agile Security and Rescue encounter an earthquake. But that is not the only thing that shakes Beasts world. He meets a rescue worker who has her own agenda and the two are like fireworks from the moment they meet. Great twist and turns in the action packed romance. Great read. I would recommend it.

This book had me all hot and bothered! My emotions were all over the place!

Lucas and Camille are hot right out the gate. 🔥
Beast (Lucas), is on a mission with his team to rescue a missing person. They come across Camile's group just in the nick of time to save them from the local rebels.
It's a dangerous location and earthquakes top off the difficulty factor.
Their banter had me expecting instanteous combustion at any moment.🫣 Seriously, "Explosions. Detonations. Dangerous nuclear reactions", are the words Beast uses to describe his thoughts.
They are "riding high on a flash fire of chemistry, adrenaline, and fatigue," but the crash and burn is so worth it!🫠
Wait. . . .WHAT! Didn't see that coming!😯
This story is chuck filled with action, suspence, hot scenes, and more, basically a roller coaster ride that you don't want to end.
Not everything is as it seems!😳
I can't even begin to tell you how much you should read this book!

The mission code named "MZ" is to locate and bring home a wealthy man's missing daughter. Seems like a straight forward job until mother nature throws them a curve ball. Now the team is rescuing a fierce, rebellious, spitfire redhead named Camile and her team from rebels but she's determined to make their life harder. While he's sworn off women there's something about her that he's drawn to but realizes she's has secrets she's not willing to reveal. She also feels a connection towards Beast but she has a mission that must come first and she's afraid to trust anyone no matter the danger she faces.
The storyline is action packed, suspensefilled, dangerous and intriguing with twists, turns and secrets along the way. Oh and the undeniable chemistry that's pulling them closer and closer together. I must say their story won't be easy to forget.

New series from Jenna- and it’s off to a great start. Jenna’s books are always lengthy, suspenseful, and hot. This first book in a new series was no exception.
Camino is working. Lucas is on a mission with Agile (another of Jenna’s series). They meet up unexpectedly and all hell breaks loose (and continues to do so for some time). Life and death situations both caused by people and nature make the relationship between the two difficult to navigate. Add in past trauma, and it’s a recipe for disaster. Or is it?
I like how this book isn’t short, full of detail, and even though the timeline for the book is short you don’t feel slighted. You know the characters and want to know the side characters more.
There are a couple details that seem to come out of nowhere, and a couple that made my head spin, but it’s a fun and chaotic ride with Lucas and Cami. I can’t wait for book 2.

Camile and Lucas, never good at relationships, find their love of a lifetime together.
Love the seals and the way Jenna Gunn writes them. All alpha male, all protective. Lucas, known as beast from his seal teammates, is irritated with Camile from the moment he meets her. There is enough friction between the two of them to start a fire. And the more they are together, the hotter that fire burns. Neither one believes in love, and both have past failures they need to work through, but once they learn to trust each other, they open up and create the most wonderful love relationship with each other. An excellent book.

Team 2 starts of with a grumpy former Seal. Beast has his work cut out for him but a certain lady brings this man to his knees and into a frenzy.
Working on more than one end to solve their missions things are unclear in more ways than one.
It’s an action filled story with lots of unknowns and hiccups for the team to solve.

A little "loose"
I have read several of Ms. Gunn's books, starting 4 years ago, and I enjoyed every one, but I have to admit that as much as I had been looking forward to Beast's story, I was a bit disappointed in it, by comparison to the others. And I'm not sure how it worked out, but I have read other stories in this series already; stories that now make this one seem out of place.
Although Beast and Camile share a typical rocky start, and there's plenty of drama, both spicy and chilling, I felt the story bounced around too much, making it somewhat hard to follow. It didn't seem to have the smooth, kinetic flow that I'm used to. Very short, chopped sentences which did not necessarily match with the "style" of the writing. And, in fact, although I am a big fan of heat in a romantic story, this one may have been a little over done, even for me. Main characters' personalities seemed a bit immature and childish at times.

Our twisted, broken hero doesn't think he deserves love or a happily ever after. Our heroine has secrets of her own and a broken past to boot! In the middle of an earthquake rescue Beast and Cam discover they can't live without each other, because hey, it's a Jenna Gunn story!
In the meantime, The missing heiress pops up and disappears. The aid group has been under investigation. Team Falcon is trying to gel as a new Agile team. They have a mission to complete. They can't afford to lose focus. All of a sudden they have 2 missions to complete! Help Cam find out what is really going on with the aid organization and find the missing heiress (known as MZ in this series). Oh, and avoid rebels who are terrorizing the villages and taking advantage of the chaos caused by the earthquakes.
Typical Jenna Gunn craziness y’all! Like all her books, I fell in love from page 1. Jenna draws you in to her world and you have to keep reading until the end. Who needs sleep?

And even as an ARC reader, I ALWAYS purchase the book to support the author! But, please read this book. So she continues to write these amazing characters and worlds. 12/10 recommend!.

A new series with some "old" characters.
Beast and his team are on their first mission. Team Falcon is the new team of Agil and has 5 very 🔥 ex-SEALs.
And this mission starts with a huge chaos.
Actually, they are looking for a missing woman but when they arrive at Santa Rosa there is an earthquake. As I said, chaos 🙈 But that's not the only thing that went wrong...
Because there is this girl...
Camile is in Santa Rosa on a mission for FamFind. They are a little of development workers and help to find missing family members. So, that they are at Santa Rosa when there is an earthquake is a lucky coincidence.
When Beast and Camile met, there was a very 💥💣 tension 🔥 It's definitely insta-lust from the first look but they are both so annoyed by each other 🙈 What girl wouldn't when you just get hooked caveman style by a steanger... 😱 And wow this guy is OTT protective 😎 No wonder with all his history...
The perfect basis to become enemies 🤣
There is so much action and secrets in the book. A lot of action... Not only the military action but also 🌶️ action 😎
If that's a good idea to have $ex on a mission? I'm not so sure for them, but for me as the reader YES it's a good idea 😁
And the secrets? They create one or two plot twists... What brings more action 🤣 The crazy thing is, that it all happens in just a few days 😱 But it has to because you know when you want to find someone it has to go fast...
This book is a must-read for everyone who loves military books.
I'm very excited to read the next book. The guys are all so interesting 🥵

Great start to a new series with the wonderful Agile Security and rescue teams.

The mission was to be and easy straight in and out, locate a missing heiress and bring her home but as usual the best made plans go to pot, an earthquake in a dubious area overrun by rebels was the first problem, the second was a beautiful woman, Camile, and her team who worked for FamFind, a charity who located missing family members. Sassy, stubborn Camile dug her heels in, she had a job to do, she wasn't going to move, she didn't need rescuing.
Due to an incident in his past, Beast had vowed that never again to let another woman face danger on his watch.
Beast was tearing his hair out, he now had two women in danger, he didn't want to let his team down with the rescue of the heiress but neither could he leave Camile at the mercy of the rebels.
As this story unfolds, the tension between Camile and Beast turns to combustible passion but Beast knows that she is lying to him, what are Camile's secrets ? Are either of them ready for a relationship ? Can Beast let his team down to keep Camile safe ? What will his boss's reaction be ?

This is an instant love story but the characters actually discuss how fast it happened so that made me feel better about how fast they fell in love. Beast and Camille have similar backgrounds which gives them a starting point for their relationship. They also discover that they have similar plans for the future which was a nice twist. I thought the mission Beast and his team had was good and I am interested to see how the author handles it in the next book. Yes, this book ends with a small cliffhanger. I like how the author handled Camille’s job. I can’t say much about it but she does get an ending to her part of the story. There are lots of bad guys. I thought all of them added to the story.

Wow! This book has lots of sparks, lots of heat and lots of tense situations that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Camille (Cameron) has a hot temper and a knack for making Beast (Lucas) feel out of control. She has her own reasons for being in Vandemora and is not about to let the overtop growly, intimidating and protective Beast make her leave. She tries to keep her secrets, dizzying attraction and nerves to herself but he is just not having it. He decides to see to her security himself, even though he feels himself losing focus on his mission. Both are dedicated to their jobs, to keeping their colleagues safe and to keeping their secrets. But neither expected the intense pull between them, their fierce and searing hot chemistry or the stirrings in their hearts. Resistance proves futile, but a future together seems impossible too. His teammates are well aware of what’s going on between their team leader and his infuriating roommate. They have his back and will protect both Lucas and Camille with their lives. I can’t wait to read each team member’s story.
Camille and Lucas’s story is fast-paced, intense and riveting. Several twists in their story amp up the suspense and make it impossible to put this book down until the last page has been read. I would give this book my full, unqualified recommendation.

This book blew me away, it was intense from start to finish! Intense storyline, intense characters, OTT alpha male with a hero complex, which I freakin love and a heroine that makes you wish you were her. I don’t even know where to start there are so many good things about this book. If you loved the Agile series, you are gonna absolutely flip over Team Falcon! Beast is this brooding, stoic war hero with battle scars inside and out. Camille is on an aide mission and just trying to help the people of Vandemor, or is she? She’s got a depth and a fight in her that you will love, she’s no wilting flower. When Beast rescues this silly aide worker who doesn’t seem to know the danger she’s in, sparks explode between them. Their reaction to each other will make your breath freeze in your lungs and your pulse pound. The attraction is that palpable, you can actually feel it pouring off the pages. The battle is on between them day and night and ohhhh the nights are the best! This story twists and turns and you know one thing for sure. Beast will protect his “Poppy” whether she likes it or not and they’ll have to fight for their HEA but man was it worth it! I received an ARC of this amazing book and am happily leaving my review.

Agile security is at it again with the newest team being lead by Beast. A former SEAL of 15 years is now running the newest team and on their first mission. Recovery of a missing woman, they are hired on by her billionaire father. So his team finds themselves in a small 3rd world country that has just been hit with a natural disasters.
Camile is nervous and excited about her new position of team leader with FamFind and they have just arrived in the little town of Santa Rosa, Vandemora. They were originally there for the flooding that was going on and when they arrived earthquakes hit. But being her first time as a team leader and the responsibility she has and safety concerns with rebels around. She may have just gotten herself into something she can’t get out of. Oh, and she is hiding a secret from everyone.

However, things do not go as planned when he comes into contact with Camille, the team leader for a disaster relief organization. From their first meeting, each one is trying to get the upper hand but eventually realizing they need to work together while simultaneously continuing on with their individual missions. The more time they are in each other’s company, they come to realize that they are very similar in nature from their upbringings to their future wants. Overall, this is a well written, storyline with drama, action and the vivid word usage give one the feeling of being right there along with the characters. This is one book that you will not be able to put down once started. There is a little cliffhanger at the end which only makes one want to read the next book asap. I recommend this book.

This is a danger filled, volatile and explosive story! The characters are strong, independent, dynamic, feisty and each have very unique personalities which will create lots of turbulence. The storyline is well developed and well written. It has several twists and turns and edge of your seat surprises. Very suspenseful. Camile is working undercover for an aid organization. She is trying to solve an enormous theft of money from the organization. Camile is currently helping work an earthquake damage. She might be in over her head. Beast is alpha male, big and muscled, dangerous, volatile, all business and in charge of his team who is looking for a missing person. Beast and his crew are trying to help while still looking for their missing person. The characters in this story jump off the pages and get your heart thumping, your body tingling and your lips melting. Camile and Beast don’t seem to know what has hit them! You will feel the sizzle, the steam, the passion and the heat. It is hot and spicy, sexy and such passion. It makes for a truly dynamite read!!.

Book one in this new spin off series is full of action, danger, mystery, secrets, twists, surprises, narrow escape and plenty of heat.
I loved Beast, he was such a strong character, he was a good leader, friend, lover and partner. I really enjoyed his inner thoughts and his reactions to his feelings for Camille "Was she sent to wreck what sanity I had left?"
Beast certainly met his match in Camille, she was also a strong character, unpredictable at times, snarky, and she didn't easily give up. Their connection and chemistry knocked her and made her unsure how to handle it all "Deep end, here I come.", but ultimately neither could deny what was between them, they just had to get past the many layers of what was happening around them and to them, and their own individual pasts to get what they both wanted.
I am looking forward to seeing more of them and Beast's team, and seeing how the Team's original mission resolves itself. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC.

Covert Mission intense and sexy.
This book is an amazing start to the new series for Agile Security and Rescue - Team Falcon. It is full of action packed suspense including an earthquake that shakes everything up. The storyline is well done and gets your interest from the start. The character's awesome vividly described you feel like they are with you. This author always writes intense, sexy, and descriptive story's and this book is no exception. Beast and Camille are perfect for each other because neither of them were looking for a relationship because they've both been let down before. For Beast it's as if he felt he wasn't worthy of love or someone caring for him which made him even more susceptible to Camille because no one ever thought she was worth anything. These two were constantly surprised by how the other responded to them. It was such an enjoyable journey you could not put this book down. If you have never read this author please look into her work you will not be let down. Really enjoyed this book.

This is the first book in the new Team Falcon series of Agile Security & Rescue, and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jenna Gunn’s descriptive writing captivates the reader and holds our attention throughout the book. I never give a synopsis of the book or reveal spoilers when I do a review, so this is my opinion on the merits of this book.
The characters (both major and secondary) are interesting, and the storyline keeps the readers captivated. Ms. Gunn provides us with nail-biting, emotionally-charged conflicts, steamy scenes, and smoking hot former SEALs. Add to that the undeniable chemistry between Lucas “Beast” and Camile, and you have one heck of a great read.

What an absolutely brilliant story! I was engaged from the very start until the last page. I absolutely loved Beast and his overly protective attitude towards Camile, even though she drive him absolutely wild with her attitude and desire to do her job despite his objections. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the team Beast was a part of and how Cami fit in with them. Both characters have a history of abuse by their fathers and the shyness towards relationships. It was brilliant how they work things out and eventually got to work together, and despite their conflict, their attraction was scorching hot, and they certainly knew how to fan the flames that built between the two of them. There is a happy ending towards their relationship, but the story does continue, we will have to wait to find out how the case is going in the next book.

Lucas "Beast" and Camille's story is the start of a spinoff of the Agile Security series which follows a new team Marshall has created, consisting of Lucas "Beast" as the Team Leader, Evan "Storm", Memphis "Scout'', Mack "Truck", Levi "Blue", and Justice "JT". If you've read the first Agile teams series then you've probably seen Beast and Storm. The team is sent to Vandemora to find a billionaires missing daughter but gets tangled up with Camille and her troubles. Beast has sworn he's not getting involved with women and is better alone but he is drawn to Camille and has a hard time walking away from her. Camille has a hard time trusting people and she's neck deep in secrets. Beast and Camille are hot together. Great start to the series with plenty of action and suspense. Can't wait for Storms story.

Agile-Falcon, former SEAL’s led by Lucas ‘Beast’ Calder went to the heart of earthquake territory to find a woman code-named MZ. Instead of MZ, they find Camile and her team of aid workers. There are sparks underneath the juvenile sniping that goes on between Beast and Camile and it doesn’t stop their sleepover. But a call from other teams in the area needing help to rescue a trapped man does.
While the men do the heavy lifting and searching and the women prepare food, Camile searches for Beast but is strongarmed away by another man. Beast is able to save but the next morning has too many surprises to cope with comfortably. Camile’s blanched face and litany of ‘I can’t lose this job’ and the nervousness when her dropped bag spills spyware tucked among her things. She’s reluctant to answer Beast’s questions about either. I can’t say I enjoyed this outing, for my taste, the pace was too slow I got bored and didn’t re-invest in the read.

Just when I thought Ms. Gunn couldn’t outdo her previous series, she has to go and prove me wrong. This is the first book in the Team Falcon series. Beast (Lucas), the team leader of Team Falcon, and his team are sent on a mission to find a missing woman when they come across a team working in a disaster area hit hard by an earthquake. Camile is the team leader of the team working in the disaster area and happens to catch the eye of Beast. This book will keep you turning the pages and holding your breath with all the action, surprises, threats, dangers, twists/turns, chases, and the steamy moments. The characters pull you in with their connections and make you feel you are part of the team. I couldn’t put this book down.

Agile Security & Rescue Team Falcon series starts with the wonderful story I'd devoured. This story is about ex-SEAL Lucas “Beast” Calder and Camile (Poppy) a rescue worker. Lucas and his new team are on a mission to bring a woman (MZ) home back to a billionaire, but he comes across Camile and her aid team who need rescue after an earthquake. Now Lucas has two missions to fulfill, keep Camile and her crew safe and complete his first objective? Will the team succeed? Has love struck another member? The characters were wonderful and very engaging as they first struck sparks that made them a captivating couple. Lucas's team were wonderful side characters along with to look forward to reading their story as well. Overall, the storyline was engaging and full of drama, romance, and action in this copy I'd volunteer to read and review.
