Omega Quadrant #3

His Forsaken Alpha

Rate this book
When Wynter Jaymes’ mate passes, he has no idea how he’ll survive. Sure, the province’s laws were changing and omegas gaining freedoms, but he’s of another generation. He’d been mere chattel and was never prepared to make his own way without an alpha. To make matters worse, someone from his past appears and forces him to relive the worst moments of his painful past before he could barely begin to process his loss.

Why Wilder “Cav” Cavanaugh attended Warden Jaymes’ funeral, he couldn’t logically answer. He’d been compelled to come, memories of a single heat spent with Wynter urging him there. A skeptic, he’d never believed in the fated mate bullshit, yet one look at Wynter and he’d been done for. He’d been ready to run away with his omega and start a new life.

He’d thought his omega had felt the same, but he’d been dead wrong. Losing Wynter nearly broke him, yet there he was at that funeral, ready to pick up the pieces and beg for the scraps of his omega’s love. When he finds his carbon copy at his omega’s side—a young man who called another father for over three decades—the treachery magnifies the simmering anger he’s held on to since being forsaken all those years before.

Wynter is forced to face Cav and the son they made that heat—and expose deep family secrets that threaten to destroy the Jaymes clan.

Ever since I met wynter in the first book I wondered what made him the cold unfeeling papa to his kids. Be prepared to ugly cry. His story is heartbreaking laying out how we got to this point. When Wylder Cavanaugh shows up at the funeral you can’t look away. Kelex completely made you feel sorry for and like wynter. Read this and if you haven’t read the others first you need to.

the craziest trauma dump ive ever read. Lets just write the list of all the trauma that occurred: severe child abuse (physical, emotional, mental), severe marital abuse (mental, emotional) , incest (that created 2 children), drugging, 14 yr old mating with 23 yr old, attempted assassination, Wynter's papa saying he was a whore for "flirting" with his father (not true), 18 yr olds true alpha is 28 yrs old. I literally couldn't get a fucking break. There's just literally nothing to say about all of that. I got tired of the whole plot though. Wynter making amends the whole fucking book, finding about Warden's and his parents new abuse every chapter, Cav's pity party. Also everyone calling Wynter a whore for a heat he had at 14 yrs old that he literally couldn't control, goddamn give the man a break. There was just so much and the plot itself was dull so it was just filled with these crazy ass sparks. Avery is def my favorite character and him and Wilder are my favorite couple. I love seeing how much both of them have grown up over the series. Also the connections with this whole family are getting fucking crazy, literally polycule. Ok i get Vaughn was an incest baby, that sucks. Like of course Wynter would not have wanted that whole thing to happen, Vaughn needs to grow tf up. I am def intrigued about Vaughn and Lake especially because they're both pouty babies. The author is def delaying their story until Lake gets older which I appreciate but also babe you picked those ages for them.

I did like the train scene with Wynter and Cav. That and the heat scene WAS BALLS CRAZY. Ok crazy nsfw coming up. Foot kink, more specifically, jacking Cav off with his feet, ok go off i guess. BRUH, Wynter using a dildo and also Cav's dick at the same time, let me remind you they only have one hole... I aint never read about that one before. Wynter needing to pee during the heat but could barely stand up so Cav just stuck his fingers up his butt and he started to pee, no yeah sure sure. Ok this is the funniest quote from the book I couldn't stop laughing. "Cav leaned closer, pressing his lips to Wynter. 'I won't force you if you don't want to show me, but it would turn me on to see you adding to your pleasure.' He smiled. 'It shows me how you like to be touched.' 'What I like? I like you jamming that big dick into me.' " HADBJSGDUBJ hes so silly. ok another funny quote. "He'd never tire of seeing Wynter like that. Wide-eyed, love-drunk, and filled with his cum." Def most intense sex scene of the chapter. Also crazy because the heat was insane and then every other time they had sex it was normcore. This whole scene honestly saved the book for me, props.

His Forsaken Alpha is the newest book in Kelex’s series, and gives so many answers to characters and their pasts.

You definitely need to read this series in order!! You won’t understand Wynter and all of his actions and familial relationships without having read the first two.

This book puts you through all the emotions! I also think it does a great job redeeming Wynter, explaining why he’s done what he has done, and giving him his HEA. I'm sure people were like - how? Why? with giving Wynter a redemption story, and I think Kelex did a masterful job of it!

We are taken back to when Wynter was young, right when he met Cav and the time together that resulted in Wilder's birth. He truly was treated horribly, by everyone in his life who should have been there to support and protect him. I hate what he went through, and it makes is actions and reactions from the previous stories more understandable.

Also, I loved getting to see Wilder and Avery and Rohan and Grey...as well as more of the family members. Vaughn! And spoilers! LOL I need their story lol

I absolutely love the world that Kelex has created, from the harsh omega society in one quadrant, to the more free and equal ones in the Western. I can't wait for more!!

I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I very much enjoyed this book and revisiting Omega Quadrant 3. In this story, we get the backstory of why Wynter James was so rude, difficult, and seeming uncaring. We also meet his fated mate Wilder Cavanaugh, who Wynter met and bonded with three decades before, although Wilder is not his legal mate.

This book flashes back to various times to explain all that has transpired. I don't want to say much to spoil it, but be aware that the first half of the book has periods of heavy abuse. At one point, it was almost too much for me and I nearly quit reading the book (it was probably too well-written and realistic). I'm glad I stuck with it, though, because there are incremental victories and healing. It's quite an emotional book, but the ending makes the journey worth the while.

There is a cast of family and friends, some we've seen before. A few future stories are also hinted at. Make sure you're in a good place when you start this book and stay the course. The story is complex, tightly woven, with surprises along the way, and a beautiful, mature fated mate love. Highly recommended!

Kelex has done it again with His Forsaken, the third book in the Omega Quadrant series. This emotional rollercoaster weaves real-world issues into the dynamics of the Omega-verse, creating a relatable yet deeply fantastical narrative. Though this is a world of alphas and omegas, it reflects struggles we recognize—except here, it’s men navigating power, control, and loss.
This one brought me so many tears , the emotional depth in this book is staggering. Wynter’s vulnerability and Cav’s enduring pain reflect complex, real-world issues about loss, trauma, and identity. Kelex presents these elements with nuance, and while the Omega-verse setup is unique, it’s hard not to draw parallels with real-world relationships. Wynter and Cav suffered so much pain , I can’t imagine not being with the one I love .
This isn’t just a romance—it’s a story about reclaiming autonomy and facing painful truths, making it a standout in the genre.

Thank you Kelex and team for this ARC in exchange for my honest review .

I'm very glad to have found again what I wanted from this author after reading His Surrogate Omega, which was a masterpiece in itself and one of the best books I read in 2024. I was very excited when I saw that they would write more for the series, and my expectations were absolutely surpassed. This has become a new favorite and the first five stars from 2025, I'm really happy to have enjoyed it so much.

The story is centered around Wynter, Jamie's omega father whom we met in book 1, and was one of the "antagonist". Several years have passed from that and his life is about to change when Warden, his alpha mate, dies. His biggest secret is spilled after another alpha comes to see him at the funeral, Wilder, who goes by "Cav" and is his true alpha. Wynter will be forced to confront both him and his own horrific past, as well as the truth behind one of his son's birth.

I'll try to point out everything I liked from it, because there are too many things and I don't want to miss a single one.

-This book does an amazing job on the redemption of Wynter's character, who starts off as a dislikeable omega in book 1 . If I'm honest, I was neutral about him because I thought there were reasons behind his behaviour. There was something about him and how fiercely he seemed to care for Jamie, although not in the right way. It was refreshing to see a complex character, someone that isn't a villain but a product of his enviroment and the abuse he suffered through many years. The book makes it clear that his behavior isn't justifiable but it does offer an explanation, which I felt very satisfied with. Wynter is now one of my favorite MCs ever.

-Amazing chemistry between Wynter and Cav. I loved how they clashed during their first meeting. In Cav's words, "he found him hotter the more Wynter got angry". As someone who isn't into instalove/instalust, both the reason I'm wary of the fated mates trope, I can say this did an amazing job having these included. Not sure how Kelex did it, but despite the book acknowledging they don't know much about each other after spending such a short time (a week), I still felt their love was beliavable and the story used the omegaverse elements at their best.

-Important discussion of forgiveness not being easily given, but having to be earned. I enjoyed that the book was clear about Wynter's wrongdoings, while also giving him another chance. I especially felt satisfied with the discussion of . It showed Wynter trying to become a better person, the reason his redemption worked for me. The story does a good job at not leaving any loose ends about the repercutions and everything was wrapped up tighly.

-Incredible emotional build up and storytelling, because it's told in two timelines, with intermissions to show the events from the past. This worked very well since the reader isn't just told what happened. It made the story compelling by adding angst, something Kelex does really well. It showed how the author evolved in terms of writting style, which was already amazing at the beginning of the series, but here they took it to the next level.

-Nice incorporation of the cast from past books and a glimpse of the upcoming ones. While the cast is big, it felt naturally added to the story as a follow up of the previous works and it never felt confusing, which can happen in such cases. I'm excited for the continuation of Tulla's story and the Lake/Vaugh couple.

-It also had the perfect pacing. The book never felt dragging because something was always happening on page. I felt like I'd go crazy if I didn't keep reading until reaching the present time, so the engaging factor was there as well.

This is one of books I consider perfect as it is and I don't have a single negative thing to say about it, or any letdown, and that doesn't happen often! I'm still in awe, I might even reread it and I'm not the of person that does that. I just adored every single thing. I can't wait for the next in the series.

Story dragged a LOT and was repetitive. This could have easily been 200 pages shorter. At the end, I was tired of it and only mildly cared about Wynter and Cav being together.

I only learnt this book existed a few days ago and as soon as I was done reading the book I had already started when I learnt of its existence I jumped on this one. And, I'm done.

I am definitely giving this book less credit than it deserves because it held my attention captive and all I did all day long today was read it. When I started reading this book I didn't remember much of what had happened in the previous books but something about the way this book is written is so remarkable that I caught on pretty quickly and it actually managed to shake loose a few memories.

I absolutely adored the first book in this series but the second one not so much. I had high hopes for this one because the ending of the last book hinted at the drama to come in this one, and I had a feeling it could be good and it was. The element I loved most about the first book in this series, His Surrogate Omega is that the book is incredibly emotional in a way that is cathartic and while the author fails to capitalise on that element with the second book they do manage to work it brilliantly into this book.

This book was also deeply emotional and moved me to tears on multiple occassions. This book starts off before Jamie's death and there is moment between Wynter and Jamie at the very begining of this book that had me in tears and it's always incredible when a book is able to make you that emotional that quickly.

However, the book does wobble a bit after that. This book was amazing at having the worst first impressions of characters I already knew, at one point I couldn't fathom why everyone was coming across as so mean except Avery amazingly enough. I never warmed as much to Avery but that might have changed during the course of reading this book.

The book is still not on firm ground when it delves into the past and talks about how Wynter and Cav met. This book showed up as almost 700 pages long on my Kindle (though the last 40 pages are excerpts from upcoming books in this series) and initially, I was excited about the length but then the flashback started and every scene in the beginning is just dragged right down to hell, especially, that fight between Warden and Wynter. It just goes on and on and it literally had no business being that long and I genuinely started to get scared. Thankfully the book stopped doing that and once it did, it was an utter delight to read.

I really liked Wynter's journey and it made me so happy to see Wynter and Cav finally get to be together because they totally deserve happiness together given all they have been through but I especially loved Wynter getting a second chance to make amends with his children. This book really came prepared with the feels because I was ridiculously happy for Cav and Wynter to get their happily ever after.

I didn't remember much of Wynter from the previous books in the series and it made me sympathetic to his plight. I don't know if remembering his misdeed would have made me less forgiving but given everything we learn about him throughout the course of this book, I don't see myself ever not forgiving him.

All things said, this book reminded me of why I love this series and I look forward to continuing to read it even though I am one of those people who would rather we turned our attention to Vaughn and Lake something the author has been teasing as with for quite a while now. But, by all indications, the next novel in this series will be Tulla's and I am atleast a little curious about that because the little peek we got at the end of this book, seemed to suggest it might be a beta and omega romance. Since, there is absolutely no information on that book to be found anywhere I am hesitant to say that it is, especially since Tulla has an alpha who I quite liked in Suddenly His Alpha. But, I guess we will have to wait and watch.

It's been years since I read the previous two books in this series and while I've forgotten somethings, I remember how awful Wynter was. He had no redeeming qualities and this book sought to redeem that. I can tell you right here, right now that that mission failed. The whole point of a redemption story for a villain is to have them do some soul searching, realise their faults, take accountability for them and apologise. This was not what happened with Wynter (at least not entirely) and the city-full people he has wronged. Instead the author fell into the trap of villanising others to try to exonerate Wynter's many, many sins. His papa was this one-dimensional monster of a human being who abused him in every way imaginable. His husband, Warden became this cruel, bitter man, becoming completely unrecognisable.

I mean in the case of Warden, we are told of his sadistic cruelty with the revelation of his numerous crimes but for some reason his sons don't seem to remember him that way. If a man can sadistically harm his young cousins for no reason, there's a great chance he'll do the same to his children. But he never did. He was at the very least a providing father for his children who offered them opportunities and means to better their lives. He never hit them or be outrightly cruel to them. The most his sons say about him is that he could be difficult. But in this book, out of nowhere he's plotting murder, drugging people, plotting chaos even from the grave.

A lot did not just make any sense. I mean this minute he saves Wynter from suicide and then he's plotting to kill him??? Come on, try a little harder. I mean this is the same man who knew Wilder wasn't his biological son and yet bequeathed his company to him. What kind of cruel, sadistic monster would do that? But then the author had to make sure we truly hated Warden so she came up with this ridiculous story that the man was trying to instigate Vaughn (biological son) against Wilder (nonbiological son) by keeping Wilder as CEO of his company then revealing in his will that the latter was indeed not his son so that Vaughn would blow up and chaos would reign. This is a man that was staunch about his need to avoid scandals and protect his legacy. He'd never do the aforementioned knowing what'd be at stake.

Through all the bullshit the author made up to exonerate Wynter of his atrocious deeds, there was one thing she couldn't justify. And that was Wynter's decision to abandon Jamie on his death bed to secure the CEO seat for Wilder!! If that doesn't scream diabolical! I don't know what does. There was no excuse. Somehow, Wynter made himself believe that whichever decision he chose, he'd be wrong. And in that moment, I knew he was truly an evil and irredeemable person. How do you compare a son's death with another's career promotion??? How is that something a parent even rationalises?? If the choice isn't obvious, you have no business being a parent!

Everything moved lighting fast. The forgiveness came too quickly. New reactions and feelings overrode long existing ones too fucking fast. In one day, Wilder was already uncomfortable using "father" for the man he's known as his father all his life. Things don't change that easily and at such breakneck speed, no matter what terrible truths are exposed.

The book was too long. It was overwrought, repetitive and TOO LONG. Seriously, this book needed more than half the pages burnt with how unnecessary they were. Then the crying?? I couldn't bear it. Everyone was crying on evey single page it just became ridiculous and annoying. I skimmed a lot of pages because they all kept repeating things and over-hammering the points. The dialogue was atrocious. I'm sorry, it was very lazy and juvenile. The pacing was skewered. It was all over the place. There was a terrible regard for time and place; characters would remain in one spot and talk at incredible lengths. It was unnatural and hindered immersion (granted very little assisted immersion)

This one is definitely the weakest of the three books.

This book follows the style of Book 2 (which I DNF'd) in that it is entirely too long! When I saw it was over 700 pages, I dreaded the worst and found my worst fears realized. If you've read the previous books, you know Wynter was not a nice person...and, off the top of my head, I can only recall one instance where an author has successfully tried to redeem a reprehensible character to make me cheer for their HEA. This is another case that failed. The author takes painstaking care to establish a backstory to redeem Wynter, and justify why he was such a horrible parent. We get it - he had a horrible Papa, he was mated to a vile man who was not supportive and downright cruel, he had postpartum depression etc etc etc. The problem is the author had to make everyone in Wynter's life over-the-top villains in order to make him remotely relatable, and because of this the book suffers.

What I have always admired about this author is her ability to create superbly imaginative worlds, with extremely complex characters, while avoiding the tropes I hate - nonsensical, caricaturish villains, misunderstandings, over the top, unbelievable sequences. We literally got all of those in this book. It would also have helped if the author didn't constantly have Wynter take one step forward, and two steps back. Having him say what he did about Vaughn at the funeral was unforgiveable and utter trash. I don't care how Wilder tried to explain it later. It was also clear as day that Wilder was the favorite, no matter how much Wynter claimed to love his other sons. Heck, he literally entertained leaving Jamie behind to be with Cav. Trash! At the end of the day, I came away from his book really only feeling empathy for Vaughn. He was the one struggling while everyone else was happy and celebrating. Too many of the storylines were just too convenient, to justify Wynter being a horrible person. The whole situation with 'protecting Cav's life' was just beyond ridiculous and eye roll worthy. I could not take any of it seriously. I think the only time I really loved Cav was when he first met Wynter and called him on being a jerk. The rest of the time it was like eh, I guess. Even that whole first encounter - literally nothing about that led me to believe that Cav and Wynter were fated mates. It more just felt like there was attraction and that was the first time Wynter had enjoyed sex. Then boom, they're fated mates. Umm, since when?

Yes, Wynter went through A LOT, but I never veered away from the fact that he just wasn't a good person. I could not empathize for very long. He just made the wrong decisions over and over, and was nasty to people over and over before having to apologize. When you have to apologize to just about everyone you've ever interacted with, the problem is you! I'm not sure why the author kept doing that. It doesn't allow you to fully like the character. There was always some excuse that hinted at selfishness. Even Wynter's sons knowing the full situation at the reading of the will was literally only because Cav insisted on Wynter talking to Wilder. Wynter was too tired and needed time and blah blah blah. Dude, both Cav and your son just had life changing revelations. How about you suck it up and not have this be about you? By the time Cav and Wynter were truly back together, I was totally uninterested in any of their love scenes.

I pretty much skimmed the book after 60% just to get the important parts of the story. Like I said, the book was way too long.

So yeah, Book 1 was my favorite of this series and it's been all downhill from there. I'm looking forward to Vaughn/Lake's book, but I can only imagine the drama that will ensue there, giving the vein in which this series seems to be written.

Where do I even remotely begin with this review? I’m a massive fan of the authors series in the eastern quadrant (and west quadrant), and when I began my read into the third instalment. It made me wonder, how on earth is the author going to get me to like Wynter. Wynter’s character has been the bane of my existence from the very beginning but, in this tale we got to know more about him and I was crying within the first couple of chapters. Wynters character develop in this, has been astronomical and has explained so much to why the omega was the way he was during books 1 & 2. The way the author has stitched these stories to fit and flow is utterly fascinating, and I utterly love it.

His forsaken omega has done a few things; firstly it’s got me to utterly do a 180 on Wynters character, got me to cry within no time, and to utterly fall in love; with the love shared between Wynter and Cavanaugh. It was so satisfying to read something that flipped back and forth between timelines and how some parts fitted into the first and second books while also getting a glimpse of what it was like even way before hand.

This story is so emotional and sometimes taxing due to the nature of what happened to Wynter (and others). As plot points are unveiled, you just become so much more aware of all the messed up things that had been going on, and the twists that happened just made you pause for a moment. This story was so raw, but raw in a good way. While some topics are very emotional, I’m so glad I got to go on this journey with Wynters character. I utterly loved this instalment and I just cannot wait to explore more into this world.

I’m almost speechless. First of all, this series has been incredible and I never wanted to stop reading about these characters. I fell in love with Wynter from the first page, even when I thought it was going to be impossible. The trauma he experienced made me ache and see him in a new light based on the other two books. He still have a long way to go but I’m even more excited to see him in the next books. He deserved a happy ending and I wish Wynter and Cav could have had the life they deserved together. And am I the only one who put together that Vaughn’s name is partly Cavanaugh’s with a few letters arranged different? Or am I reaching? Either way, Wynter deserved so much more out of life but I’m so happy he got the happy ending he wanted his entire life. And the kindness of Gray and Avery?! I could barely hold back the tears. It was amazing to see the beginning process of a family healing. There’s a ton of work left for them all, I think, but this story set into motion what will be a beautiful happy family come the end of the series.

HEA indeed

I didn’t think it could be done but if anyone could do it, this author could. Oh man what a redemption story! I loathed Wynter in the previous books. I was very hesitant coming into this book with knowing he was the main character. Wynter’s story broke my heart the cruelty he was put through. It was amazing he was even able to function which wasn’t by much. And sweet Cav. He was exactly who Wynter needed. This was a hard fought HEA, with so much hurt. Please don’t let the page number scare you I promise it was worth it. While yes this is angsty they had to get through all the pain and truths before they could be together.
The writing was amazing had me from the beginning. The smexy was hawt with everything I love about omegaverse stories. The side characters are lovable and family.

Please watch your mental health and mind your triggers with this one.

For future me:
No sharing (cheating ish but not between the mcs more with the villain)

Another lovely omega quadrant story.

This was Wynter and Cav’s story.
Wynter who is Wilder’s omega father and Wilder Cavanaugh who is Wilder actual alpha father.
The story is about older, main characters, and the story flows back-and-forth from past present .
Winter was a pretty unlikable character in the past stories, and I wasn’t sure that the author could redeem him, but Wynter worked hard to make amends and so very much of what happened was beyond his control. I ended up liking his character very much.
This poor omega was abused by everyone around him. Cav spent years sad and depressed.
Their backstory and the revelations surrounding the actions of Warden, who was Wynters forced contract husband were terrible. Warden was a despicable character, thoroughly worthy of hatred.
There was the introduction of a lot of new characters in this story, which gives me hope Kelex will continue writing books about this alternate universe, Omega verse. I really enjoyed this book.

Memorable Quote(s):

“I used to dream of this moment, and those dreams nearly destroyed me, knowing I couldn’t have you. I forced myself to stop dreaming too many years ago to count because I thought I’d destroyed any chance of you ever loving me.” - Wynter

“My love for you is practically indestructible. You can dream all you want now,…And we can make as many of them come true as humanly possible.” - Cav

Tropes:
•MM Omegaverse
•Star-crossed Lovers
•Older MCs
•Second Chance romance
•Hurt/Comfort
•Redemption Arc
•Secret baby

I honestly did not think I wanted to read Wynter’s story because of all the crap he pulled with his children in the previous books, especially Jamie. BUT I DEVOURED this book!

My heart absolutely BROKE for Wynter during this entire story. This is proof that everyone is not what they seem. I couldn’t believe some of the stuff Wynter experienced and for him to take everything on to protect the ones he loved. THEN to also be forced away from his one true love, ugh 😩 he will forever be redeemed in my eyes.

I absolutely loved that even after decades apart Mr. Wilder “Cav” Cavanaugh did not let Wynter go and they found their way back to each other. I was deeply saddened to know he was robbed of knowing he had a son with his mated omega. But it did work out in the end for him, his omega and his son Wilder. And now Cav not only has them but also a son in law & new grand baby.

This book is definitely top 2 of the series for me, I don’t think anything could top His Surrogate Omega …but I still have Appetite for an Alpha coming up and hopefully soon Vaughn & Lake story 👀😬

Absolutely make sure to read previous books before this one so the true scope of the plot and relationships and drama can be understood.

This was the perfect redemption story for Wynter because you find out how and why he is the way he is and Kelex had me rooting for his HEA straight from the start.

This author has such a way with words and the angst and emotional upheaval that Wynter experience’s leap from the page and had my heart breaking for him and Cav and everything that happened to keep them seperated. Their connection so many years later was still so strong and the chemistry between them…🥵 🔥.

Couldn’t have imagined this book any better and reading the journey of Wynter finding his HEA and connecting with family was so satisfying. Another top read from this author that did not disappoint.

This author ruined the word “murmured” for me. Like others have stated, this book is entirely and unnecessarily too long, but the worst offense is all the repetitiveness! Not just story and dialog (which are also repetitive), but specifically the word “murmured”. I don’t think they actually know what the word truly means. * insert Princess Bride meme here *

I read this last year, and I still cringe every time I hear the word “murmured” in any book I read now, even when it’s actually used correctly. Now I’m kind of reading the second book again bc I saw it came out as an audio book, and I like to listen to books I’ve already read while working so I don’t have to pay full attention to it, and I’m realizing that book used that word entirely too much as well, but this 3rd book is so excessive. I think I counted the use of that word at least 10 times within 2-3 pages 💀

stop!!! If you haven't, please read book 1 and book 2 before reading this installment.

I was so happy to be back in the Omega Quadrant. The world that Kelex created for us is addictive.
His Forsaken Alpha is Wynter Jaymes's redemption story. We met Wynter in book 1 (Jamie's omega father) and he was not a likeable person. I would go as far to say that I loathe Wynter Jaymes.
What Kelex did was to show us another side of Wynter. How he became the cold, emotionless person that we met in previous books.

His Forsaken Alpha is heartbreaking beautiful. It's very well written and Cav and Wynter's HEA is hard fought. It's a second chance story well worth the read.
I can't wait to return to the OQ again.

Hate to Love

Wynter's life was never pretty. Being an omega, he was bound to find an alpha, get married and have children. But his life was a living hell from birth. His parents weren't loving, his papa especially. Before he knew it he was basically sold at the age of fourteen to a man more than 10 years his senior. He went through hell in his mated life. Until on a train ride he met his real alpha, Cavanaugh. They had one week together, before they were pulled apart for forty years.

Their story was so heart breaking. From his parents, to his alpha husband that hated him, then his true mate that had to forgive him, for keeping his son from him. I cried and I got mad with all the things that happened in his life. In the end the journey was worth it.

I am still in awe of Kelex’s talent - how exactly did they take someone like Wynter Jaymes (WYNTER JAYMES!) and make him redeemable? How exactly did they make me fall completely in love with this cold, callous individual? With great talent, a deep dive into his past and with so much love. Wynter has become a favorite and Mac is right there with him. If you haven’t started this series, I beg you to do so. You’ll see what I’m talking about and maybe, just maybe, you’ll grow to love him like I have. Freakin beautiful story.

****Excellent!!!****

This book is amazing! 5 stars ⭐️ straight up. Kelex did an excellent job in the telling of Wynter Jaymes’ story. Yes, you will need to read the first two books before you read this one. Yes, you will need tissues handy. I’m absolutely floored by this whole series and I need more. I’m addicted to know what happens in these characters lives. To know and be able to relate on some personal level with these characters is beyond my comprehension. It’s like Kelex knows a little of what I’ve gone through. So Kudos to Kelex and her amazing 🤩 story and series. 💜

Wilder and Wynter

While long this was really good. It is a must to read the prior two books because they line up and you will be confused if you don’t. This one is a bit different from the last two because it goes back in time for a chunk to catch up on how Wilder and Wynter met. The amount of parental and family trauma that was in this book was extremely high. The romance was filled with ups and downs but ends beautifully. I wish that the story of Lake was next but alas Kelex is right, both of those characters need to grow up a bit. So Tulla’s story it is!

5 stars because Kelex is amazing but..

I almost didn't read this one. I saw Wynter and noped hard. I hated the man. I still can't fully accept things he's done so deep down this is a 3 star...

That said, I read this book in one sitting. It took 20 hours... Sleep OMG.

Okay, Kelex is a wizard. I couldn't put it down for more than a few minutes. I don't LOVE Wynter.. but I guess I really don't hate him anymore either.
I absolutely loved seeing the past characters and Cav is great.

I can't wait for the next in the series.

tough

Honestly this whole series was hard to read. I just couldn’t with this book. Even if they got together in the end there was just so many wasted years and cav at most will only get like 20 more years if he’s healthy and with winter it’s just really sad book to read but honestly it speaks about most of us in real life. Has the time already passed? Is it too late? As good as this book ends it was all really tragic and sad I wished they had come together sooner so they could’ve had another baby that cav could’ve raised. I felt we were all robbed. 😭

I need a minute to compose myself

I don’t know what to say after reading this book. I wasn’t emotionally prepared to read Wynter’s story. I think I’m going to need emotional counseling from this. It was heartbreaking to read but just like the previous books, the story was amazing. I’m glad we get his side of the story and that he finally got his HEA. Can’t wait for the next books!

I love that this book explained Wynter story, because I couldn't stand him in all the other books...lol😂. Wynter was defiantly a victim of child abuse and manipulation for sure. Even though it took him along time to get his happinesses, he received it with lots of love. Now I can't even tell you how excited I am or the next books, yes plural, let get to it, I have been on pins and needles for my Omega Quadrant books.

Kelex skillfully takes us on an expansive and emotional journey telling us the current and backstory of Wynter, and his lover Cav, the biological father of Wilder. It is riveting, and I had to read this straight through. We get many interaction scenes with the previous main characters of books one and two of the series, along with their children. I love that in mpreg stories.
I definitely want more books set in this all male mpreg world!
Highly recommended!

Oh i loved this so much lol. I was not excited going into this book because i absolutely HATED Wynter in the last 2 books in this series. However reading about his back story and all he has been through was heartbreaking and also answered alot of my questions.

The relationship he has with Cavanaugh?!?!?? 🔥🔥🔥 This book blew me away. It was also refreshing to read an omegaverse story with an older couple.

I cannot wait for Lake and Vaughns story. I need dat like right now deadass.

If you told me I would end up rooting for Wynter in this series I would not have believed you. He was so cartoonishly evil and now I feel so bad for him :'(

Thank god this was an HEA, I would not be able to handle anything less for him.
