Christy uses the story of Esther, her own story and calling and a discerning look at the times and world around us to call women to action. It brings convicting knowledge that if we don't act, in this time, and take up our callings, the lost around us will suffer the consequences. If we choose comfort or fear over seeking God's face and doing His will, we will have squandered our opportunity to cast out all the idols and announce the Truth. Women of God must be willing to stand our ground, and rise in the power of Jesus' blood to cover the sins of the seemingly hopeless world. It is only hopeless if we don't stand up to do the hard things as Esther. This book is an empowering, enlightening look at the world and our place in it, and is a must read for every woman of God.

I reached for this book while doing a deep dive into the book of Esther, and I'm so glad I did! Christy's word studies and insight into the themes of Esther are super helpful. Even more-so, I loved reading her book alongside each of the chapters of Esther as the Holy Spirit spoke and ministered to my heart in a deep, profound way. I look forward to doing the same with her study of Deborah, and I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to really plumb the depths of what Esther's life and story mean for us today.

A must-read for every woman! This book is a timely gift!!! Filled with God-infused words of encouragement, courage, and grace. I had to take my time reading it because there was so much meat to chew on—deeper dives into scripture, cross-references, digging into metaphors + meanings, etc. My Bible is now full of notes from this book! Christy has an amazing message for women of today to rise up and answer the call. The message that they were created for such a time as this to speak truth into a broken world. The souls of many ride on our willingness to stand firm and to act to share God's redemption. What a timely book for such at time as this.
