I borrowed this on Kindle Unlimited as I needed a post-apocalyptic book for a book challenge. I was hesitant because this isn't a genre I'm usually a fan of, but I wanted to complete the challenge so I saw this and picked it up. I am so happy I did!!
This is a page turning thriller that I could not put down. It was relatable and I kept wanting to know what would happen. A father will do anything to save his daughter, a daughter that has never seen the sun or above ground world. When times get tough and he has to go out and gather more supplies (one can only be prepared for so many years), his bunker becomes breached...with his daughter inside. This was thrilling and exciting. If you're on the fence, don't be, this was a great read. The setting isn't wild and was written very well! I look forward to reading more by this author!

I chose this book to fill a space on a book bingo card I had (needed a a book based in a post-apocalyptic world) and I was pleasantly surprised. This is not a topic I would normally read about.
The author did an amazing job at taking a storyline that has been done and making it exciting again. I was invested in the characters and had to keep reading because I needed to know what would happen next!
