He was the coffee shop manager.
She was the mob princess.

Nahmir had a reputation for living wild and free in the streets of Houston, Texas. As the youngest Bowers brother, he made his money and slept with whatever woman he wanted.

Amora Morris had a reputation of her own. She was a dangerous woman. Her father was the leader of a notorious mob while her brothers were known criminals. Men typically steered clear of her gaze in fear of being the next target of her family.

Nahmir was unfamiliar with the Morris Mob, so when Amora enters the coffee shop, he’s none the wiser to the dangers ahead. When the two souls meet, they push each other’s buttons. One eventful night changes the trajectory of both of their lives. Nahmir’s strength is put to the test in this action-packed mafia romance.

lol wtf did I read. This book was pretty bad. The fmc was annoying, the mmc wasn’t much better, the relationship made zero sense. The pacing was horrible. Just no.

Baby boy Bowers was bout his business when it came to the coffee shop but was wildin' out in them streets. He gone get enough of sleeping with married women and fight they husbands. 😂 Afraid to love again, after being hurt in the past, has damaged him severely. Drinking and sleeping around was his coping mechanism until her...

Amora. Being a mafia princess was not for the weak and her family made sure that she was a strong as they come. However, she wanted to know and feel that soft life but didn't have anyone in her life to show her how. She wanted to understand vulnerability, but the men in her family taught her everything but. Meeting Nahmir gave her a jolt of something she never felt before, but she used her faithful tactics of being mouthy and rude, turning him off. However, she couldn't get him off her mind. Whenever they were in each other's presence, she would just continue to poke the bear, until he attacked.

This woman is beautiful, but her attitude and talking about money all the time, makes me want to leave her be. Why can't I stop thinking about her? After a great date, and an amazing night, things go awry.

Amora's damn brothers pissed me off so bad! 😤 I understand you want to protect your sister, but damn! This man ain't even do anything worthy of that ish y'all pulled! That was some punk ass ish! 🤬 Then her daddy gone co-sign on that foolishness? Ughh.... 👀 Nahmir and his brothers were not going to take this lying down, they were out for blood. Nahmir was on go mode and put them brothers on they ass! 😂

Seeing Amora break down, and confess her true feelings for Nahmir, helped him put the past behind him. Although her brothers are trash, he still wants her! Amora asks for patience as all of this is new to her, but she wants to try. Once they got into a groove, they were inseparable. It was nice catching up with Promise and Nathan seeing their love grow.

Now Nicholas! Excuse me sir. You doing what tomorrow? How is that even possible? Cannot wait for his story. Enjoyed this read. 👍🏾👍🏾

3⭐️🌶️🌶️ I did not like this book as much as the first book, and I felt like the chemistry between the 2 MCs was not there, and they moved way too fast for me and then ended on a cliffhanger. I want to read the next book, but the author hasn’t really given much of a backstory on Nick.

Love Heist

Mya, you did it again! The Bowers brothers are all of that and a bag of chips. Amora knew she wanted Mir. The difference in their families were well thought out.
Love is love, and Mir stood 10 toes down when it came to Amora, in spite of her trifling brothers!
Love seeing Promise and Nathan in the fold as well.

The epilogue was awesome, but their was a jaw dropper, Nick, and his announcement...

Loved the story of Amora and Nahmir. Amora was trying her hardest to get under poor Nahmir's skin. Their little cat and mouse game was cute. I like that they were both able to love on each other despite of their hurdles. Bringing their families together wasn't easy but eventually it worked. Can't wait for the next book!

Nahmir & Amora made my side hurt! They are hilarious without even trying! I loved them! Her brothers PISSED ME OFF I wanted to off them frfr! I love how she opened herself up. She had a natural reaction to change & they didn’t do too much back & forth…. Now MYA!!! You didn’t have to end that book the way you did! I honestly been waiting on Nick more than Mir!

I really wanted to love this but it fell flat for me shortly after the beginning. The initial going back and forth was okay but it seemed like the cat and mouse game was forced. I didn’t get the whole let me “poke the bear” (as it was stated several times)…it just read as immature to me. I’m trying to figure out where I felt the disconnect and it probably was the whole “mob princess” aspect. Not that it wasn’t good per say just didn’t make sense to me in the context of the book. For the family to be a mob they were very accessible to people that potentially were threats like the Bowers brothers showing up at the dads office randomly. Also the kidnapping and then homegirl getting mad because Love was fired and that Nahmir wouldnt talk to her was so funny to me like…duh…that man almost lost his life and he’s supposed to be grateful to you even though your vagueness was the issues?! I did still enjoy some of it and this author in general. I will also read the 3rd book for sure but it missed the mark for me.

I really liked A Promising Remedy - Love's Infusion Book 1. The Bowers brothers were fun to read about, so I was excited to see the stories of the remaining brothers, Nahmir and Nicholas. I finished A Promising Remedy and quickly downloaded A Loving Heist.

I really like the MMC, Nahmir Bowers - his character has grown tremendously over the course of 2 books. However, I did not like the FMC, Amora Morris. I felt that she came from a violent family and didn't really grow enough

The cliffhanger regarding the third brother, Nicholas, was one of the most interesting parts of the story. While I don't think this book in the series is as good as the first book, I'm still excited for the next one.

Final Rating: 3.75/5

Spice Rating: 3/5

Content Warnings:
Graphic: Drug use, Sexual content, Pregnancy, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Cursing, Violence, Grief, Death of parent, and Alcohol
Minor: Confinement, Infidelity, and Toxic relationship

A loving heist

I had been anticipating more from the Bowers brothers since reading Nate’s book when it was released, but I can’t say that I enjoyed this book as much as the first one. I really liked Nahmir and seeing his growth from the first book to now, but I wasn’t completely sold on him being with Amora after what her brothers did to him. It almost felt like he forgave her way too fast. While she didn’t tell her brothers to do what they did and asked them not to do anything, she also didn’t properly articulate to them what had her so upset and then her anger at being ignored by Nahmir after the fact was annoying. This story was definitely a work of fiction. Before the incident with Amora’s brothers, I liked the vibe and chemistry between her and Nahmir, but after the incident, I found it hard to enjoy the two of them together. I did love how Nahmir’s brothers were always down to ride for him, good or bad and their genuine brotherhood that was filled with support for each other and their business ventures. It was also good getting an update on Promise and Nate and I’m looking forward to reading about Nicholas even more after the way this story ended. I would suggest reading this story though to gain your own opinion.

this book a just ok. the first book was better. Nahmir is a coffee shop owner.. Amora is a mob princess. their first meeting didn't go well. Nahmir ends up banning Amora from coming into his coffee shop. their next few meetings didn't go much better either but one night their barbs turn to flirting and they exchange numbers. they have a magical first date and Nahmir is all in. Amora isn't sure. she shares with one of her brothers and all hell breaks loose. Nahmir goes missing for days, almost dies, and blames Amora.

this story didn't really work for me. the book is called a Loving Heist but had nothing to do with heists. when we meet Amora, she is working with her mob brothers to set men up and steal their valuables. however that plot line is completely abandoned once she meets Nahmir.
at one point, their is a standoff between the mob Brothers vs. Nahmir and his brothers. only we don't know how Nahmir and his brothers found the mob brothers or got onto their premises. they just showed up. uhhhh no!
I also found it unrealistic that the two families so easily accepted each other after the incident. Nahmir even meets with the father to ask for his blessing to marry Amora.
I'm still a fan of Mya but this was not her best.

These Bowers men don't play!!

The men in this family don't play when it comes to their money, their business, their family, and the women they love. Nahmir and Amora didn't get off to a great start. I actually didn't like her for the first part of the book. I thought she was a spoiled entitled pain in the behind. But after reading about her family dynamic, I started to understand a little what shaped her into the woman she was. But her brothers LeRoyce, Cordell, and LaCorey had me wishing all types of karma on them. Too bad that sometimes you can't pick your family. Cause those men did Nahmir very wrong. As they say, time heals all wounds. Everything started going right once Amora realized Nahmir would always do right by her. I loved reading about their blossoming love. Nahmir finds his forever love and expending the business. But. . . Mya, that ending was not what I expected. Talk about a curve ball. I did not see that coming. This series just keeps getting better and better. I can not WAIT for Nick's story!

Baby Boy Sticking It To You

Loved this story! The Bower brothers know how to treat a lady and are great business brothers. I love their bond!

Baby boy Nahmir needed to grow from his w*****h ways. Other than that, he was that guy you could build a future with. Amora needed to handle that mouth and attitude. Both Nahmir and Amora grew together. They were inseparable and too cute together!

Nahmir and Amora each playing that cat and mouse game of "catch me if you can." Both feeling each other! The attraction to each other was fire 🔥 but they had to work on being that couple. She definitely was annoying.

What a wild ride they had. Amora didn't know how to love, her brothers were ruthless, and I couldn't stand them, periodt. Nahmir let them know they weren't going to get away with what they did to him. He and his brothers were coming for them, with no fear in sight.

It's a great read, and I don't want to give away the story. The next story is gonna be a biggie, too, with Nicholas's announcement of marriage tomorrow. I can't wait.

Nahmir and Amora!!

When Nahmir and Amora initially met, the sparks were flying. Their first meeting definitely gave a enemies to lovers vibe. When they got on the same page about their feelings, I loved it because it showed growth for both of them. Nahmir and Amora had to go through changes to make their relationship work - Nahmir had to stop being a fuk boy and Amora had to open her heart to receive the love that Nahmir wanted to give her. I was glad they were able to overcome the obstacle of what happened with Amora's dumb, overprotective brothers. I loved the scene where Nahmir got his lick back. The brothers were totally surprised, and I was so tickled. 😂😂 Nahmir and Amora as a couple and the emotions that they expressed were enjoyable. Now, I'm anxiously waiting for Nick's book especially after that surprise ending.

I really, really wanted to like this book but there were a couple areas where the author forgot what was written. For example, in one scene she said Amora chose not to wear underwear on the date and in the same scene she said Amora’s underwear were saturated….. Additionally, it was said that Nahmir never missed Sunday dinner with his parents but when Amora’s brothers tuned him up, he was a prisoner for 6 days, in a medically induced coma for 3 days, after being repeatedly beaten by Amora’s brothers but his mother knew nothing about it…..none of it seemed realistic. I loved the first book in this series and I’ll read the third book but this one was not it.

Mir and Amora💕

Amora and Nahmir were a perfect match. The initial meeting wasn’t pleasant, but the fire was brewing. I like how despite the hiccup when they met that they were still interested in going a date. Now the aftermath of said date would’ve gotten Amora cut off, but forgiveness is a blessing. It was nice to see them learn to be with one another once the dust settled.

Now Nicholas has me curious. I still can’t get a read on him, but I feel like he’ll need someone that’s business-minded and outgoing.

A Loving Heist

Usually, when two people give each other a hard time, they really like one another. This was the case for Nahmir and Amora.

Her brothers were too much. But just like they didn't play about her, Nick and Nate didn't play about him. When they rolled up in her dad's office, ready for whatever let you know that they stood ten toes down also.

After everything that went down, Nahmir knew that Amora was his one.

Now Mya, Miss Girl, you've got some splaining to do. What with the cliffhanger? I can't wait for It. Hurry...lol

I think baby brother may be my favorite Bowers brother. I thoroughly enjoyed Nahmir's story. The banter between Nahmir and Amora was hilarious. They stayed going at each other, knowing they wanted each other. Amora's brothers were wrong for how they did Nahmir after she told them to leave it alone. Nahmir got his lick back, though, but it could've been avoided. I loved reading the growth between these two. Nahmir definitely needed to grow up, and he did. He not only grew as a man but as a businessman as well. Amora was the perfect match for him. I loved how everyone embraced her after the situation with her family and Nahmir. My favorite scene was her breaking down and explaining how her brothers and dad made her scared to fall in love because of how they treated the women in their life. I wouldn't mind a story on Amora's baby sister, Love. On to the final book in the series to see how Nicholas finds love.

Nahmir and Amora was alike. Amora brothers pissed me off tho. Like I understand protecting ya sister but yall went overboard without understanding the dynamic of things. I loved how Amora opened up to Nahmir. I loved how Nahmir ain’t care to show that he was really into Amora. They was too cute. Now Nicholas wassup with you cause how you drop a bomb like that??

Families bonded by love

She came from a family of mob members and Neimeer family is just a hard working wholesome family with the exception of his older brother who once ran the streets. When Amore realized she’d loose the love of her life she began her dad for help to save him from her brothers. This was a great read because the brothers didn’t want any smoke that Neimeer and his brothers brings.

I was waiting for Nahmir’s book…… SPOILER

I am so disappointed with the writing. Like be foreallll! Nate book was good and had a homey vibe to it….. but I’m baffled with this book, so after being beaten, and starved for several days he’s back in blisss with Amora whom I really didn’t care for….no way you didn’t Nahmir this way I stopped reading…on to the big brother now and if I don’t like his book I’m gone let yall know smh

DNF

I don’t like books like this. Where the FMC spends over half the book being insufferable unnecessarily. Book one Promise was teetering on the line of being initiating but at least she worked through hers, I put this book on my DNF pile at 45% and I’ll just skip to the next one. No need to read the nonsense that is sure to follow all of the back and forth for this huge blow up the FMC caused

love it

Ah yooo come back here. How you just drop that kind of cliff hanger and leave us in the dark?

I love that his brothers allowed him to grow without coddling him and letting him know that he did not need their validation but let it be known he always had their support. I would love to see more of her family getting it together and what their future looks like

Nice read

Amora and Nahmir were hell out of the gate! These two loved pushing each other's buttons. I will say that I wasn't about how her brothers did Nahmir because he didn't deserve that. I loved how Nahmir grew into a more responsible man and understanding what made him who he was. Amora grew on me.

What a ride!

I wasn't sure about Nahmir and Amora at one point, but they got out of their own way eventually. Amora's brothers were doing way too much hearing and not enough listening to what she said. I love how Nahmir and his brothers let it be known that they were men and not weak little boys with the Morris family.
