An efficient tour of C++ fundamentals, standard library facilities, and best practices. I have come to recognize that top-down learning through application can only get me so far as a developer. C++, especially, is a language who's flexibility demands a sound understanding of underlying fundamentals. I'd become accustomed to the guardrails afforded by Python, JS, and even Java, at the expense of writing performant code.
