"Oh for a complete story at one sitting"

Hanlon is one tough cookie; a maverick cop with a past. She's not above a little payback for criminals who have crossed her path in the past and not ended up in prison, where they belong. This is a ramshackle story with lots of threads, and therefore lots of loose ends when it inevitably ends in mid-air. As with so many books these days I need #2 for resolution. Sadly this will never happen as #1 didn't grab my attention totally. There was a lot to like and some interesting directions to take this story, but it was all sacrificed at the altar of commercialism.

First class. All the makings of a great new Crime series. Believable characters, well structured plot. Can't wait.
