Immortal Heart(Copyright 1997, Revised 2011)
BJ Kincaid was woman of contrasts. She was a computer wiz who sought comfort from teddy bears and her poodle, a child genius who'd never known adult love, a loner who secretly yearned for acceptance. Then a security leak threatened her job at LadyTech-and unexplained blackouts threatened her sanity-until the very mysterious Brodie Maxwell came to investigate.
With each new encounter, BJ discovered a man who matched her, paradox for paradox. Beneath his scarred exterior and his brusque, distant manner lay a warm and tender lover, and behind his unwillingness to open up was a man who longed for intimate contact. Most baffling of all, Brodie seemed a crusader, yet he claimed that the woman who loved him was fated to meet an evil end.
Doomed by an ancient curse or blessed by timeless love, BJ knew this was the man for her, and she vowed nothing would stop her from freeing his...Immortal Heart

LESSON IN LOVE Hawk had to admit that he longed to be enlightened by the brainy beauty. He'd seen the shy schoolmarm cut a man to ribbons with her sharp tongue, and he was haunted by visions of schooling her lush, surprisingly soft lips in passion. He'd touched her only as a protector, but in those moments he'd discovered how delicate and decidedly feminine her long, lithe body was. Now, threatened by an evil as old as Tenebrosa itself, Hawk knew that her kiss could stave off the shadows and their love could light the way to paradise.

what we see with our eyes. Love that sees and hears with the heart. These Marines pull you in and show you what it is to feel with your heart. Strong and capable women who take life's curveball and turn them to strength. Damaged heroes that are a bit more than human. Told in a way you can't help but believe. This is the perfect feel good tale with just enough angst to hold you captive.
Wonderment, faith, and believing what you cant see. Stories of evil and the love that breaks the bonds of evil. You only have to believe the power of love.
Totally not what I expected. But then thought, ok, I like paranormal too. I only read the first book in the set and barely made it through. Didn't like the characters much, the super genius heroine was sometimes tstl (though the evil sorcerer was controlling her, so not all decisions were her own), and the hero was flat. And no one even had a passing thought for how this guy was going to conceal his identity in this modern world when he was going to have to hide again and come back as someone else.
I love this anthology, all three books pull you in from the start and take you on a wild ride full of danger, adventure, mystery, enduring love and fiery passion. If Julie Miller writes any more stories of heroes and heroines like the ones in these stories, I'm going to need to buy stock in Puffs, as these wonderful stories make me cry with joy.
It's an awesome event when in a box set the story continues from one book to the next. This set of plots revolve around a set of retired Marines who have been a unit but now take care of each other. The stories' plots are easily read but still full of adventures and mysteries. Great vacation book.
I have to admit that it took me a bit to get into the first book but once I did it got my interest. This series is paranormal/action type scenario. Expect the unexpected. Some parts made question things but that is what these type of books are meant to be.
Not exactly what I expected but solid reads all around. The most intriguing stories are Brodie and Hawk. I enjoyed the camaraderie and the different locals.
I read a review that was not positive then read the books. All I can say is they missed the point big time. Well written good chemistry with characters.
wonderful!!!!!!!!!! I will be going to fantastic fiction and looking up Julie Miller the minute I hit the submit button below. please..please..please keep writing
