This is the second book I've read by Kylie Gilmore and I have to say I didn't like it as much as the first. Not in that it wasn't well written, because it was, but more because I didn't care all that much for the heroine, Daisy.
Readers met Daisy in the first book of this series, The Opposite of Wild, and to be honest I wasn't all that impressed with her then. However, from experience I know that sometimes views can change once you get inside a character's head. That was not the case here. In the first book, Daisy came off as immature and a bit of a brat. In Daisy Does It All, she still came off as immature and a bit of a brat. I had a hard time relating to her. I also had a really hard time understanding why Trav wanted to be with her.
Speaking of Trav, I liked him a lot. He was a great hero. He had a great sense of humor, but could be extremely protective when the situation called for it. And his relationship with his brothers and even the way he was with Daisy and his son were definite pluses in my book.
If this was the first book I'd read by this author, I'm not sure I would be reading anymore. But I loved the first book in this series and despite Daisy, I loved Trav, so I will read the next book in the series.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a sweet, yet sexy, romance with a slightly less mature heroine.
AudioBook Review Stars Overall 4 Narration 4 Story 4
Adding a touch of fantasy, or wishful thinking, to a rather mundane and settled life is what’s expected from Daisy, the younger now reformed wild child of the family. She’s made huge changes in her life, now a single mother she is dedicated to her little boy, and only wants to make his life secure. When her blog about family, relationships and her ‘perfect’ life takes off, and she’s fielding inquiries from a television show, it’s time to face the realities. An absent bad-boy fathered Bryce, and he had shown no interest in a relationship, let alone a family. But, things change, and Travis has grown up: or has the opportunity to be on television provided the needed life change, for now.
Gilmore manages to use the deepest desires of Daisy’s heart to make the story take flight. Imagining what could be, if detailing them as what is, hurts no one, really. But, while she’s not looking, those things start to fall into place. Travis wants another chance: he’s good with Bryce (if more than occasionally overwhelmed), he seems to be committed to doing the right thing, and ….he’s there right in front of her.
I loved the progression of their relationship, the obvious affection showed by Travis to both his son and Daisy, and the ‘all in’ approach that is shown by both Daisy and Travis to the whole topsy-turvy world of parenthood and family. No one is ever quite prepared, and the ability to be honest in the confusion allows them both to reveal their own feelings as they relate to the future, their future and intentions. Great growth in both characters, some funny family dynamics and, of course, the whole façade that brought Travis back into Daisy’s life.
Narration for this title, like the first, is provided by Charles Lawrence. The continuity between the two books using the same narrator is a highlight: voices established in The Opposite of Wild continue here, with new moments and development that allows a seamless listen through the books. Never over-acting for female voices (a HUGE pet peeve), Lawrence manages to balance the more feminine delivery and speech patterns while still not imitating, and the perspective from the men is clear and distinct.
A wonderful series full of moments of heart, heat and smiles: sure to please romance readers looking for a story that combines family and romance to come out on top.

eBook Review - original to be found at I am, Indeed dated 12 May, 2014
We return to Clover Park, Connecticut in the second installment of the series, and we check in with Daisy, Liz’s rather scatterbrained sister, now a single mum and doing all she can for the little boy she loves so much.
Daisy is bored, and decides to add some fantasy to her life, starting a blog where she details her perfect family and gives tips to other new mums about life, love and relationships. Yet, this is all fantasy: Bryce’s father is a bad boy with a list of conquests as long as your arm, and a relationship with the man he was is the last thing Daisy wants to disrupt her life. But pretending you have it all isn’t so bad really, is it? Until a national television show contacts her because her blog is the ‘next new thing’ and wants to interview her and her ‘perfect’ family.
Bryce’s father Travis is super-hot and sexy, and has done much to reform his ways to make Daisy take a chance on a relationship with him. And the television interview is the perfect opportunity for him to make his move. But, can he convince Daisy that he’s not just in it for the publicity?
Gilmore manages to add plenty of real issues, heart and heat into this story; Daisy isn’t the unreliable hoyden that Liz feared for, her love and determination to do the best for her son is apparent and palpable. There are plenty of moments to laugh as well, since this is a story that is based in family, and whether you are in the middle or just looking back, the time does come when the most embarrassing issues are funny, and part of your ‘remember when’. Neither Daisy nor Travis are truly prepared for parenthood (who really is), and the honesty about the struggles, pitfalls and struggles are real, while providing what I have come to see as Gilmore’s humorous twists on situations to add a levity and lightness that doesn’t distract from the emotions and caring that is between them all.
Travis and Daisy are delightful, and they enjoy one another’s company, even if she can’t really believe that he is changing his ways FOR her. And his devotion and dedication to the end result: a family with Daisy, is apparent. Several sexy scenes show the connection between them, even before they both manage to get on the same page in their journey to a happy ever after.
A great follow up to the first book, characters and situations feel real and possible and their connection is palpable almost from the first encounter. A fun and romantic series that has characters overcoming their own issues, pasts and histories to find the one thing we all want: love.

Daisy has always been in trouble over one thing or another. Travis was the same. Over one heated night, they now have a son (can just imagine the genes he got). Daisy has a blog in which she has created her own ideal life and nothing like the real deal. When a TV show wants to interview her, a mess of major proportions is created. I laughed out loud quite a bit reading this book. Gran was a hilarious addition. Skipped over the bedroom scenes as that is not my thing but the story was great.

Liked it, but definitely did not love it. I did not connect with the main characters and I basically powered through this one so I could get on to the next book in the series. I did come to enjoy it a bit more towards the end. At times this felt like a reallllllllllly long "Three's Company" episode. Not my thing.
I enjoyed this story but didn't think it was as good as the first book in the series. I found Daisy hard to like, she really needed to grow up. Trav is a great guy, he was protective of his family, hard working and funny. Daisy and Trav do make a cute couple and I am glad they get their HEA.
Book Two in the Clover Park series. You don’t have to have read The Opposite of Wild, the first in this series, but it may make a few things a bit clearer if you do. Although, I read the first book in 2014 so it was almost like I hadn’t read it. As I read Daisy Does It All, the connections from the first book came back to me. I’m happy to report that Maggie is still her feisty, wonderful self!
Daisy is the screw-up of the Garner family and has a lot of proof to offer for that. Travis was a total screw-up when he was younger, but he’s managed to overcome all of that. They knew one another in high school but really weren’t in the same crowd. This isn’t a second chance story. It’s more of a happenstance first chance. Daisy and Travis are co-parenting after one night led to a baby boy who is now about six months old. Travis has been trying to get Daisy to marry him, but so far has had no luck. It isn’t that Daisy isn’t interested; she’s just trying to get her life together on her own and prove she can support herself and Bryce. When she finally gets the break she’s looking for will she screw it up?
Daisy Does It All is a quick, cute, pure brain candy read. It’s fluff, but it’s pretty fun.
Being a single mother with a colicky baby is not how Daisy picture her life but sometimes things turn out better then you think if you just things flow. Traves the baby's father has asked her to marry him many times but she thinks he is only for the baby but he has loved her for years but she is pig headed. Daisy has a podcast and with it she has the perfect family and a perfect life then a talk show wants to come and talk to her and film her family now want is she to do and who will help her and will she let them?
Finished book 2 in this series and I liked it more than the first! Daisy is an adorable screwup and Travis is a reformed trouble maker. Together they created a son, Bryce, who is a handful just like his parents. Catch a ride on their whirlwind of adventures and see if you don’t fall in love with them like I did. It was nice to catch up on characters from the first book in this series but it can be read as a stand-alone.
Another really good book by Kylie Gilmore. Loved The Opposite of Wild, and this one was just as good! If you liked the first one, then definitely read this. If you haven't read the first, then the main parts are explained in this as well so you won't feel like you're missing anything. Definitely recommend this series and will be looking out for more of her books in the future.
Daisy and Travis were amazing! I loved how he never gave up on what he what for his family. He always put Bryce and Daisy first. Even though Daisy didn’t think she deserved a happily ever after with Travis. He never gave up until they both on the same page. It was such a beautiful book about family and love. I was happy to see Daisy, Travis and Bryce as a family! 💙
Daisy and Travis were a great couple and I'm glad they managed to figure it out. But, Trav had to work DAMN hard to get Daisy. Daisy wasn't giving an inch! She took responsibility at the end, which I admire her for, and am glad she's going after what she wants instead of running away again.
I think I found my new favorite author. I have read the first Clover Park series some time ago which I loved and I liked this one too. I love the characters of Daisy and Trav. Trav is always wanting Daisy to accept his proposal and Daisy who doesn't want a marriage without love.
Different couple and different struggles from book 1 but still the same. Strong alpha male and confused female who feels she has to do everything on her own. She finally sees the light and we have a HEA.
Started off bad and got worse. Everything Trav does in the name of bullying Daisy into marriage is domestic violence. It's manipulation, power games, and basically straight up abuse. He disregards her opinions and won't take no for an answer. Explain to me how this is romantic?
I really enjoy the book series on different families \ this one was no different! Great storyline and wonderful getting to know the characters! Looking core to more!
A little simplistic. I hated the shortened versions of everyone's names as it seemed juvenile. Daisy seemed kind of ditzy and unremarkable. "Trav" too good to be true. But the book was free.
I am glad that I saw more of both sides. Lots of drama. I enjoyed learning more about Liz and Ryan from others' perspectives and see their journey continue with little bits and pieces.
This is a good beach read. I like that the characters continue through the series and in this book, you've already met most of them. Good easy escape read.
