Refreshing LitRPG apocalypse story with excellent character development with people with real psychological challenges, in an overall positive story arc. Lots of action and great use of technology and magic.

Enjoyable

I'm really enjoying this series, which is usually hard with the litrpg genre because if you read one apocalypse game lit book you read them all. It's incredibly difficult to be original in this genre, so accolades to the author. If you are interested in apocalypse/game building I would recommend this series to you.

The only thing I really didn't like was the ending, I really dislike cliffhangers and it seem a bit dramatic for no reason.

Spoiler alert*****I don't understand why he couldn't just upgrade his lordship and grab all the new people and deposit them in front of his army and flying castle, create a grand intake center, while negotiating with the new lords; of whom, he transported in front him. With a little planning there was no need to be so dramatic. And the fact that he did that speak, dramatic pause, speak again thing with something so serious left me really disappointing in him.*****

But overall good book.

It just ends

This is absolutely a filler book. Not much happens except a couple of kaijou fights. Otherwise this book is quite bland.

There are quite a few grammatical and spelling mistakes that threw me out of the story. As well as the author's note at the back which I think was recycled from book two; the author talks about how he is currently writing book three and I am sitting here going...hmmm.

The story also just ends. No resolution to the current book. Obviously meant to be a cliffhanger, but it was stupidly annoying.

Easy read.

Good addition to the series!!

The characters continue to be entertaining, especially William. I like that he showed more ingenious ways of using his class to kill monsters. I like that he evolved his class and the cool option he picked. I liked the island. I liked the reveal at the end. It makes me look forward to the next book more.

A very good story…

In need of an editor. There are so many spelling errors, it gets distracting. Even a simple spell check would identify dozens of these mistakes. I strongly suggest you do that at the very least.

Another brilliant addition to the most "real" of the LitRPG genre. I'm avoiding any spoilers and just sticking with it's amazing to have one author that refuses to be carbon copying like so many others. Sadly this seems to anger the "goodreads" wannabe critics.

Overall saw considerable improvement over previous books. I get why some people feel likes it's a filler book but I thinks more a slower pace. Glad the MC is finally getting some things from the task list done and delegating some work AT LAST!
