A military general gets guilty conscience for killing and enslaving inhabitants of planets in order to mine their riches
Pretty cool art and decent story in general. A bit worried that this is an outlet for "humanity bad" analysis from the writers. Juvenile in other words. If so, that overarching premise will overshadow any interesting and complex fates or characters. Also, brace for more virtue signalling. Hopefully not. Not sure but I think I will check out the rest
Not bad, but pretty forgettable considering Scott Snyder and Tom Hardy's names are attached to this. It is ultraviolent and a fairly generic sci-fi premise. It is just the first issue of a broader story, so given the ending I should see what more this series has to offer, but this introduction didn't make it a priority for me to return.
In a similar vein to BRZRKR with Keanu Reeves, I could see this being an IP utilized for a future Tom Hardy film, though?
Mercado demasiado copado de propuestas sci-fi indie como para confiar en que el elemento "gore" empalmado con el discurso anti militarista/capitalista de una distopía cósmica haga despuntar esta historia.
A pretty solid start, I like that we have an older protagonist and felt this was a breezy read. Very violent, the art reminded me of Aeon Flux at points and I dig it. I will say the plot is very familiar but I’m hoping the characters and the tone will carry it out.
I really love the world building and the art, reminds me of some old video games I used to play like mass effect but a smaller scale, it's getting really interesting.
