"Sukoon" by the talented author Wajid Shaikh is an exceptional debut book that leaves a lasting impact with its thought-provoking nazms, poetries, and valuable life lessons. The author's craftsmanship shines brightly, creating an engaging and captivating read.

In the poem "Aksar Aisa Hota Hainn," the author beautifully portrays the experience of encountering someone who initially showers us with respect, only to later dismiss us entirely – a poignant portrayal of destiny-driven connections.

Another compelling piece, "Tassaliyaa," delves into life's complexities, shedding light on the burden of living under false accolades and enduring immense pressure. The poem skillfully reflects on the blurry lines between truth and lies, vividly depicting the illusory nature of the world.

The writing style throughout the book is truly intriguing, and the apt title "Sukoon" perfectly captures the essence of its content. With a fitting cover page and simple, easy-to-understand language, the book offers an enriching literary journey.

In conclusion, "Sukoon" is a must-read for those seeking a captivating and thought-provoking experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone eager to explore the depths of human emotions and reflections on life in this brilliant debut work.

✨This is a book of shayaris, two liners, and nazms. It's a collection that reflects the experiences of the author's life, encompassing themes of love, reality, hurdles, and more the author skillfully crafted metaphors and descriptions that brought these feelings to life.

✨The book's language is Hinglish for example and how beautifully it's written:-
"Woh khushmijaaz shaks phir Yakeen ke haatho maara gaya."
These lines from the shaayari depict a poignant and emotional moment where a cheerful and optimistic person faced a loss of trust or faith. The use of "Yakeen ke haatho maara gaya" suggests that the person's trust was betrayed or shattered, leading to a feeling of disappointment or heartbreak. The shaayari seems to capture the complexities of human emotions and the vulnerability of trusting someone.

✨Overall, it conveys a powerful message and evokes a sense of empathy. There are such poetries in the book which dwells at a very high level.

✨Remember, poetry is subjective, and different readers may connect differently with various works. But do try it out you may like it.

Recently finished reading this book, and it was an amazing experience. Wajid Shaikh's debut book is a delightful collection of nazms, poetries, and life lessons that beautifully reflect the experiences of his life. The book covers themes of love, reality, hurdles, and more, making it a compelling read for both beginners and seasoned readers.

The language used in the book is simple and accessible, allowing readers to connect with the emotions conveyed in the verses easily. The author's writing style is captivating, and his words have the power to touch the hearts of readers, leaving a lasting impact.

What I truly loved about this book is the variety of lines that touched my heart. Some lines beautifully capture the essence of longing for someone who came into life later, questioning the significance of such a relationship. Another few lines explore the idea of finding true contentment and fulfillment in a single person.

Overall, this book is really beautiful, and I highly recommend it to everyone. The heartfelt emotions and life lessons woven into the verses make it a captivating read that leaves a deep impression on the reader's soul.

Sukoon is a collection of soulful ghazal like couplets. What sets apart this book from other poetry books is the musical quality to the couplets. You feel like you are listening to a beautiful song when you read it.
The couplet covers all human emotions of love, friendship, seperation, life experiences and even spirituality.
The author has encoded some very profound and meaningful thoughts in these couplets that make you think about life and destiny.
The couplets also shed light into some of the harsh realities of society.
The couplets on " Gareeb baap" were so on point as even today people expect parents of girls to conduct lavish weddings irrespective of their financial status.
If parents cannot afford it, then most probably the girl will stay unmarried.
If here a sad truth of society is exposed, there is another one that appears satirical.
Marry only after discussing the effects of marriage with married people.
Similarly each couplet carries its own message and its own emotion. A good book that grows on you slowly but steadily.

✍️ I can't remember if I read something like this before. I mean poetry, collection of thoughts, motivational quotes, memoirs - these are common to me. Though I don't like too much poetry but find it refreshing in between heavy novels.

👉 But this book is a pure book of "Sher-o-Shayari". The writing style reminds us of passing texts in WhatsApp as it is written in English but the sound, pronunciation or outer voice is Hindi. The author has penned down all thoughts in the shortest possible way. Two to three lines and a deep thought spread into the environment.

🙏 There are so many types of feelings jotted down together in this single book. Life lessons and real-life experiences are well depicted rhythmically. A reader will go with the flow as it has a soothing feeling inside every line. Sometimes we need to listen to that kind of lines which are dramatic and imaginary but help us to dream big, as a dream can only be the hope of life.

Purani mahfiile aur yaaro ki baatein
Yaad aati hain sabhi woh baithake hamari - Wajid shaikh

It's my first time reading a book where so many different forms of writing style have been used in the book. This book has poems, shayaris and small paragraphs where the author has expressed his thoughts in a lyrical manner. The author has expressed a lot of emotions that we all have felt during our life in the form of shayari in this book. Each one of them will force you towards deep thinking and you will realise how beautifully they have been written. Many different words have been used in the book that have a very deep meaning and totally change our perspective and leave an impact on your thinking. The author has very brilliantly crafted these words in hi sentences. I really liked reading each one of the shayari and I hope that my fellow readers would feel the same.
