I honestly cannot say what disappointed me most..
The fact I paid for this hogwash after reading the first book - which I thought was absurd too. I am still not sure why I continued in honesty.
Or
The book itself.. it is just madness. The characters are crap/flat/dull. The situation is ridiculous. The female lead is clearly braindead - no joke.

So to this series, I say..

This book starts out with a bang…literally. It’s the kind of bang that left me blushing and squirming and wanting more…so much more. The book may be short, but it is not short on drama or intensity. We are slowly gaining insight into the person that lies beneath the tough exterior of Knox. He may be intense and all business most of the time, but there are a few instances where he lets his guard down a smidgen and shows his softer side. Rebecca continues to be overwhelmed by all the information that has recently come into her peripheral. She is paranoid at times, and for good reasons after reading this installment. I am loving the mystery of this story and I can’t wait for the next book.

What can I say, Cassia did it again! Volume 2 was even better and Knox was even more freaking delicious! This picked up pretty close to where the first one ended and all I gotta say is...

Shit got way more complicated. Knox opened up a bit more and I got a better understanding of what is driving his revenge. Oh, and the sex was insane! It had me like, "Yo, boyfriend!"

But the kicker, was the damn ending! Things were just getting super freaking good and then that thing happened that we all hate! The author left me freaking hanging on the cliff! And to top it all off I have to wait for Volume 3, which btw has no release date yet!

But it's okay Cassia Leo, I still love you and will be waiting patiently for more of the deliciousness that is Knox ;)

LOVE, LOVE THIS SERIES!

I can't express how much I love Knox and Rebecca. The know how to spice things up in the bedroom and the sex scenes are just so freaking HOT!

Knox is looking for revenge and he's going to avenge his mother's death one way or another. He has been looking for Rebecca (the love of his life) for several years now and now that he's found her, he's going to make sure she is his and his only.

When Rebecca and Knox start heating things up in the bedroom, she breaks things off with August and doesn't want to even be his friend because she's afraid to lose Knox. Somehow, now that she broke things off with August, he seems to keep coming around and she doesn't want to even be his friend. What she's wondering is how does Knox and August know each other and what is it that they got going.

When Rebecca finds out that Knox is Marco, she just wants to be with him, she had a crush on Marco when they were young and now that she's reacquainted with him and things are hot between them, the last thing she wants is to lose him. She will go through great lengths to be with this man and she doesn't care if she ends up in deep trouble for him.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.

Cassia, I love, love your books and can't wait for the 3rd part in this series!!

I am really enjoying this series, Knox is one sexy hot male but you would not want to get on the wrong side of him, he has a plan and there can be no mistakes. There is a great chemistry between Knox and Rebecca , one minute she can be so mad at him and wanting answers and then the next minute when he touches her all is forgiven. The storyline is just brilliant and with every chapter you read you are pulled more into the storyline, you become the detective trying to work out what is going to happen next. If you llike lots of action, suspense and hot and I mean hot sex scenes, then I would highly recommend this series. Cant wait for the next installment.

Wow! This series!!! I was once again completely sucked into the story. This story picks up about 3 weeks after the last one left off. And, now I am left questioning everything, wondering what is real and what is not. The steam factor was definitely kicked up a notch!! But, I still have a lot of questions about Knox's true intentions....

I am so intrigued and have so many questions...And that ending was just cruel :) Looking forward to the next installment and hopefully getting some answers!

very dissapointed at the shortness of book. 50 pages is a free book, not one you should pay for In my opinion.

Not sure of the time frame from where the first book ended. Rebecca is wondering what Knox may have done to Charlie. He hasn't shown up for work until she sees a article on a coworkers computer. Now she feels like it is all of her fault. She hurries to Knox to find out what is going on. She is so stuck on him that she accepts his excuse as that he is trying to protect her.
She is going to live with the regret that she never told Knox about running into Lenny. Not much really happened. I guess just a build up of what is coming.

This story was very disappointing. Volume 1 ends with an "oh shit" moment, but it's barely touched in this one.

I love Cassia's writing, but volume 2 is subpar. It ends with a cliffhanger, and another "oh shit". But with the way V2 turned out, I'm not sure if I'll read Volume 3...

Warning! This review will SPOIL it for you, because it is literally the summary of the volume.
1.5 STAR!

I thought KNOX would get better, but it didn't.

My feelings on this volume are vapid. This story was going in all sorts of different directions and random characters are introduced for no reason and supporting characters just disappeared, as if they were written in volume one to carry a meaningless existence-- translation, they were introduced and then forgotten before one could even care. Example: Becky forces Lita to have a night out to have fun/ get info out of her, but then bar guy appears (meets Becky, but has hots for Lita for a milisecond, then forgets her and dances with Becky). Then, of course, Knox magically appears which causes Becky to forget both bar guy and best friend and left club without even apologizing or saying goodbye. Another example: what's up with Becky's dad? His situation is clearly still static and the explanation of his relationship to his daughter and Knox is still up in the air. You know what's also up in the air?- character development. I don't feel anything from Becky nor Knox [did you know he had his face done for whatever reason? Then what happened to August, or the introduction of the moms, or Lenny? (Le sigh* a little frustrated)] Also, what bother's me is forcing a 'dark' side to Knox which seems like a guy who doesn't have a legit one (example: I have a stripper pole, but don't dance for me yet... then I'm gonna whip you a bit and then wake up with you and later take you on a cute little date and show you how I wrote our names, probably with a heart around it, somewhere at the pier.)
Then this last scene took the last straw, (Knox)"I told you I'm not capable of getting you pregnant...I had a fucking vasectomy last year!" (Becky)"What?" (Knox)"...but when I found you last year, I asked the doctor to reverse the vasectomy..." (Me, with major eyes rolling)"Seriously, you have got to be kidding me! This is so stupid." Then I turned the page and it seemed that the best friend Becky left and forgotten at the club/bar has disappeared. -_-

**Spoilers**

Volume 2

Volume 1 left us off with a major cliffhanger that gave this next volume such potential and it FELL SHORT!

Typically, when you leave readers with a major cliffhanger, you start the next volume/installment/book where you left off or at the very least explain what happened...correct? NOT IN THIS CASE. Volume 2 starts off with a steamy sex scene and quite frankly confused me bc I was anticipating an explanation for what.the.h.e.double.hockey.sticks. happened at the end of volume 1 with August...I didn't know if the sex was really happening int he beginning of Volume 2 or if she was having a really good dream? lol

We do eventually figure out what the story is behind August. "...told me that he had been working with Knox for 5 months..." (the 5 months they were dating) But the whole explanation seemed skimmed over and was explained in 1 paragraph, no further questions or answers. Once again, you don't see or hear from August until further in the volume.

August reappears to apologize for what exactly we don't know...his involvement with Knox, for cheating on Becky? He hints at there being another women, but says, "I never f**ked her! Yes I took her to my apartment, but I never had sex with her. As soon as she left, Knox showed up and threatened me."...so who is this other woman?

Once again, this book is ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Then we get introduced to Knox the Dominate...he has a sex dungeon? WHAT?!? There was subtle hints at Knox having a kinky side, but there was no prep for that. He all of a sudden shows this dominate side with Rebecca and "teaches her a lesson" bc she was dancing with another guy at a club...

Then she all of a sudden thinks she's pregnant?!? According to Knox, that's not possible bc he had a vasectomy a yr ago, but then he admits he had reversed. Well which is it, he can't get her pregnant or he can? We do not find out that result...

Once again, there is a major cliffhanger that leaves us with so much potential!!

Still holding out hope that this book gets better!

The Knox series is a four book short story series that I will be reviewing all four books at one time in one review that will be posted on all four books. I figured it would be easier doing it this way then doing each one individually.

The first one begins with Rebecca getting told that she needs to meet with her father, so she goes with the goons that were sent after her. The problem is when she gets to the meeting it isn't her father, but a man named Knox who is working to help her father not go to a jail for a murder she witness when she was a teenager. There is also another problem this man reminds her of a man she has been dreaming of for years, and she can't seem to fight the attraction. Through there journey she finds out the truth about this man, and what he is truly after. She also ends up with her life in danger, and finding out some new information about love and loss. This short series has a lot of drama, action, and romance all rolled into one.

This series kept me pretty intrigued with it for the most part. I really liked the plot line, and I loved Knox. But I just didn't care for Rebecca. She's the main reason why the rating is lower than it could have been. Rebecca was suppose to be a cop, yet when she wasn't at work, or heck even when she was at work it never stated anything about her having any kind of weapon or anything on her. I thought that was a little bit odd. And it almost seemed like she couldn't fight to defend herself. However, in the last book with everything that happened I think she did a pretty good job, but it still didn't redeem her in my eyes. Other than that I loved the mystery of Knox, and what his issues were until later on. And I also loved how the last few books were in his point of view, it really made it much more interesting to read. Over all these books were really interesting, and I really did like them.

I bought all the novels together for 99 cents. I have wanted to read them for a while now, but I am not a big fan of serials so wanted to wait till they were in a pack.

I had read the sample and it sounded really interesting. I liked the story idea and I like Cassia Leo so I had high hopes. Now I still love Cassia Leo, but I did not like these books. They were the worst things that I have read of hers. The plot started out strong, but became sporadic, especially between each serial. I felt like I missed a lot when I started the next serial in the series. The flow was very disruptive and I didn’t like it.

The base of the relationship between the couple was also weak. I did not understand why they liked each other at all. Now since it is more of an erotic series I was willing to overlook this if the rest of it wasn’t so poor, but it was so this was just another weak point for this series.

The girl annoyed me. I just didn’t like her at all. She seemed flighty and I really didn’t understand why Knox was so in love with her. Knox himself was ok. He was not my favorite. I was really confused as to how he got so good at security and made a billion dollars. A billion is a lot of money and I just didn’t get how he had done that in 10 years. He was fitting more with the bad guy element than I was expecting so that was good. But again it was all still confusing at times and I didn’t understand why he loved her at all.

Overall I just didn’t like it. I had a hard time finishing it. I still love Cassia Leo’s other books, but this was a weak one for her in my opinion.

OH MY GOD!!!! I need Volume 3 now!. I am loving this series so much. There is so much mystery and suspense to this story and I am loving every minute of it.

Let talk about Knox. He is sexy, and dangerous and little dominating at times but there is a sweeter side that we get a glimpse of in this installment and I just love him!!. While I do honestly believe that he loves Rebecca and he will do anything to protect her and make her his, there is still a little bit of mystery to him. I still find mystel asking the question: how far will he go for revenge and what is he hiding? Can we fully trust Knox. I do not know all the answers but I know that I love the man.

I couldn’t wait tog et my hands on this one and find out what the deal is with August. But as the story went on August became even more or a mystery. I was left with my head spinning with theories about who is involved in what. What is August really up to? How is Lita involved in all of this? The in another mystery man and more draw and suspense and yo have one heck of a ride. Cassia Leo has left me thinking real hard on this one.

This series is hot and sexy. It is filed with drama, suspense, and angst. And the ending will leave you wishing you had volume 3 in your hands. This series is a must read. I cannot wait for the next one.

This installment picks up some time after the first one left off. The relationship between Knox and Rebecca has completely changed, kicking the steam factor up several notches. Some of the questions we were left with at the end of book 1 get answered and Rebecca begins to struggle with her decision to help her father. I had a hard time accepting how quickly Rebecca accepted the reemergence of her old life, surrounded by lies and violence and blackmail, but whether it is blood or love, family makes you do crazy things. Rebecca’s best friend Lita helps us get a better picture of the type of person Rebecca is and the life she has been living since walking away from her family. We also get to know Knox a little bit better, getting a glimpse into his life and his business. I loved seeing the fiery side of Rebecca come out as she challenged Knox and refused to be used as a simple puppet. I’m a huge fan of a strong and self-sufficient heroine. Just as Knox and Rebecca start to settle into the current lives, a familiar face reappears asking questions and Rebecca gets some unexpected news that changes everything. Once again Cassia Leo, leaves us hanging and begging for more Knox!

The more we get into the story of Rebecca and Knox's mobster past the more intriguing the story becomes. We learned just how far Knox will go to get justice for his dead mother. We learned that August was blackmailed for months by Knox to help him with his revenge plot. Poor Charlie should have minded his business and not followed Rebecca. I don't think he deserved such a fate as the one he got. A different person wouldn't have fell head first with this guy who is willing to kill just keep someone quiet but here Rebecca is falling in love with the boy she craved when she younger but good never have because the timing and age was never right. Through bits of the story you get a glimpse of the boy she loved before he turned into this hardened man who seeks revenge that we see now. Now she must come to terms that she may be caring his baby and what happened to her friend Lita? Does she have anything to do with this revenge plot, is working for the enemy, or is she an innocent bystander who will as a tool make Rebecca do what they want? If the 3 Volume is anything like the first installment I can hardly wait.

I'm still not sure where this book is going...but then again neither does Rebecca. Her life is even more turned upside down when she finds out the lengths Knox will go to protect her. He has many things in common with her father but Rebecca's feelings are so far gone for Knox at this point that she'll forgive him for anything, including the violent way he gets rid of a love-sick co-worker. We don't know exactly where people in Rebecca's life stand - August her boyfriend for the last several months as well as her best friend. Are they in on Knox's plan for revenge for his dead mother? Knox & Rebecca continue their hot passionate love affair but only in private. Coming forward as a couple could ruin Knox's plan. Rebecca discovers that Knox has been very serious about her over the years, never forgetting about her, waiting to find her again, taking drastic measures when he has lost hope of finding her. Knox & Rebecca have a little wake-up call at the end of this story, a definite cliffhanger for where their relationship might be headed, along with some danger in store for Rebecca's pose.

KNOX (VOL. 2) by CASSIA LEO

I am just lovin this erotic, mystery and romance serial from Cassia Leo. She never disappoints. In this second installment, we get a POV from both characters, Knox & Becky. It was so much fun to read because even if it is a serial, it keeps getting better and every chapter gives you that adrenaline rush where you can't seem to figure out what might happen next. Plus the mystery side of the story is so engaging and don;t forget the hot & steamy sex scenes. Oooooohhhhhhh! What a delight.

I cannot wait for the 3rd installment. With the sort of cliffhanger in the end of this book, I would want to have the next book with the right amount of drama that only includes Knox & Becky. The part that they really talk about what kind of relationship they have and the exciting news whether she is or she's not ______. Ya know. *WINK *WINK

Knox 2

5 stars

I need more NOW!! I love this series and Knox. He really won my heart in this book. I cannot wait for the other books!

Rebecca is trying to accept that Knox is in her life. She is trying to figure out August and how he is associated with her. He is acting really strange and worrying her. She keeps having weird run ins with people from her past. What does it mean? Will Knox help her?

I love Knox, but I am still insure about his motives. I want him to be a good guy and look out for Rebecca. He is really secretive. He has stuff set into motion that he can't say because it could all back fire on him. What is he hiding? How far is he willing to go to get his revenge?

I was hoping to get some closure on August, but he is more of a mystery now. I have a lot of theories on what he wants and is doing, but have no idea what Cassia is doing with him!! Plus she threw in another man of mystery to keep us on out toes.
Cassia sure knows how to keep us captivated and enthralled in a story!!
She also keeps us on the edge of our seats, biting our nails!

Holy hotness!

I mean...wow. Have I said this series is HOT? Because man is it HOT!

In Volume 2 we pick up three weeks after the end of Volume 1 but we are quick to get our answers. Who is August and how is he connected to Knox? Just as quickly, we're shaken up and begin to question all of Rebecca's relationships. It ends on one of the most brutal cliff hangers I've ever read and I'm salivating for more.

Cassia Leo continues on a winding path that can only lead to an explosive ending.

In Volume 1, Rebecca is a bit of a hard ass but we see all that change with Knox, especially in Volume 2. There's an amazing scene with a bed and some ties....there's some hinting at a stripper pole....have I said this book is hot? Phew! It's another fast read that has left me begging for more.

I only have one complaint - we only have 1 scene with a fiery Rebecca and Knox. Can we have more?? Please?? Fiery Rebecca getting Knox worked up and heaving is beyond delicious.

I wish the book was longer, but WOW so much just in a short amount of time.

First, the book starts off with of course the sexual chemistry of Knox and Rebecca. Knox is the typical alpha male that makes your panties wet!!! You see that Rebecca is more and more letting her past come back to her.

We learn a little bit more into August's whole circle of friends and how he is entertained. August helps Knox with his plot on Charlie. Remember Charlie in the first book, he was the noisy cop that had a thing for Rebecca. You learn a little more into that in this installment.

Rebecca and Knox have so much of a past that can not deny them both. Their relationship is very tense, but wow , can I find me a Knox???

You learn that so much of the deep love they both shared many years ago. You begin to fall in love with this man and his romantic side that came out of know where.

Holy H@**.....Major Cliffhanger, I wanted to grow my IPad....... Need Book 3....!!!!!!

I only want to say this...

You can see the following review also here: http://loveandlivetoread.wordpress.co...

I am disappointed from this book. Really? You have Mafia and sex, two themes that can work miracles in a book, and the result is this??

I didn’t think that it would be possible for Rebecca to be more stupid. Clearly, I was wrong. Why can’t she think before she acts / speaks? To be honest, I don’t like at all the way she treats people like they have no feelings.

Also, the whole situation with Know is kind of ridiculous now. I don’t want to do any spoilers but this medical situation that he said at some point in this story wasn’t believable at all!

I am curious of what will happen next and I hope it gets better because I am giving only one more chance to change something.

Slowly Rebecca starts putting the pieces together. Realising Knox has managed to slowly "get to" people of importance in her life...removing them from any influence over Rebecca.

Rebecca tries hard to maintain her independence, but Knox has a hold on her and she's not sure she wants him to let go. Caught up in the lust of how she feels about Knox, rekindling her teenage crush, she doesn't realise just how far down the rabbit hole she has fallen.

So many things go against her moral grounds, and if Knox was not part of the equation she may not be making the choices she is. One thing after another just piles up in front of Rebecca, and now she is really stuck as to what the right thing to do is.

Ms Leo has pulled me in and got me addicted to yet another of her Players. Can't wait for Volume 3 - all from the point of view of the Alpha male himself!

WHAT?!?! Why…I AM SO CONFUSED…
I have a feeling I may stay confused until the last page of this series.

Okay so after the huge cliffy in book 1, book 2 picks up 3 weeks later and everything is peachy between Knox and Rebecca. No explaining anything (which I’m thinking is because all will reveal itself in a later book) … so you’re left feeling like, “Okay WTF happened?” (or at least I was). The only thing that was explained was that Knox helped August’s family out of a bind…BUT that was told by August almost at the end of this book.

And speaking of the end of this book…W.T.F???? I don’t understand why…
GRRR…I am going right into the next book cause I am utterly stumped and intrigued all at the same time. I NEED to know now what the hell is going to happen next.
