Tigers: Amazing Pictures & Fun Facts on Animals in Nature

Rate this book
Bestselling children's author Kay de Silva presents "Tigers". The book uses captivating illustrations and carefully chosen words to teach children about "the great wanderers".

This series is known as one of the most beautiful on the kindle. The pictures look great even in black and white and are excellent on the full color kindle. The description in the large text beneath is simple enough for early readers or for a parent to guide a child through.

There are also picture captions that provide more information to talk about with your child. Alternatively, a child of any age (even the child in you) can just look at the images and appreciate its beauty.

This book depicts the wonder of the world of Tigers in all its glory. Children are given a well-rounded understanding of this beautiful mammal: its anatomy, feeding habits and behavior. The following Tigers are featured:
* The Regal Bengal Tiger
* The illusive Indochinese Tiger
* The mysterious Malayan Tiger
* The enormous Siberian Tiger
* The endangered South China Tiger
* The diminutive Sumatran Tiger
* The beautiful White Tiger
* The interesting Liger
* The rare Tigon

I enjoyed compiling this book. I even learned a few things along the way. Perhaps you will too.

*** Your child will love it - this is guaranteed.***

Kay de Silva created the Our Amazing World Series with the premise of creating beautiful, fact-rich books, written in simple words that kids would love to read over and over again.

The series is based on themes of animals in their natural habitats, with a strong call to appreciate the role that each living creature plays in making our world the abundant and fascinating place that it is.

Kay practiced as a lawyer for some years before moving into corporate communications. She left the career rat-race behind to bring up her two children; a daughter of seven and a son of five. She and her family live in Melbourne Australia.

"It's so rewarding to hear of the delight that my books bring to young readers. Equally thrilling are the messages from parents who say 'Really? I didn't know that."

This is a great book for any kid interested in Tigers! It shows many beautiful pictures and gives lots of real life information about tigers. I think having books like this is very important in a classroom because they help kids to find things that they are interested in and learn about them. I think a whole collection of these types of books with different topics is very important to have as a part of a classroom library.
