Just the Sex by Alessandra Torre is an invitation into bedroom of her characters from several of her novels. It's a wonderful refresher for couples we have already met and a fantastic introduction to ones we haven't.
What should have been a quick read in fact took longer as I took myself of to get acquainted with The Dumont Diaries after reading those scenes, so be prepared for the need to make these erotic shorts, longer.
To sum up Just the Sex in a sentence, I'd say:
"It's a extra shot of caffeinated smut that really hits the spot."

There are times you want to devour a full book with elaborate stories. But there are also times when you just want something hot and dirty to satisfy your needs. This book is perfect for a quick hearty meal to satisfy your sensual hunger.
It feels like a good date, except you skip the wining and dining and go straight to the fucking hahah! It contains a good variety of scenes ranging from slow and sensual to hard and frantic sex scenes (which I personally think is the best).
Alessandra Torre is definitely one of the best erotica authors out there. The sex scenes were written beautifully, it never sounded cheap. If you haven’t got the chance to read any of her book, this collection of erotic scenes would be the perfect introduction to her writing, giving you a glimpse of what you could expect.
My one little complain is, it lacked scenes from my favorite Alessandra Torre’s character ever – Lee from Black Lies. There was only one scene of him and it left me feeling deprived haha!

A second finger joined the first, and they moved in perfect succession, fully inside and crooking inside of me, delicious swipes that had my eyes rolling back in ecstatic delirium. I reached out my hands, gripping his legs and squeezing, needing some type of grounding solidity to bring me back to reason.

This is a collection of the some of sexiest scenes from five of Alessandra Torre's books. Out of a possible 25 stars, these short stories accumulated 18 (3.6 stars).
1.) The Dumont Diaries ★
I wish this wouldn't have been the story the book started out with. I have not read this full series, but I didn't care for this short at all. The guy just seemed to use her, while she looked like a glorified prostitute. I have a lot of faith in Alessandra, so maybe this was just a bad glimpse at this story. I will admit the addition of Drew made me want to read the actual books so I could judge this properly.
2.) Sex Love Repeat ★★★★
I love(d) this story. This book is probably the book that made me fall in love with Alessandra's writing. I only gave this four stars because I already knew the huge twist , so I didn't love their sex scene. I mean, it was still hot, but knowing the twist... it becomes a little harder to get into. (Also, Ahhh I forgot how much I love Paul.)
3.) End of the Innocence ★★★★★
I have not read this full story either, but I'm going to rectify that immediately. The first chapter was incredibly hot. The final chapter was maybe the sexiest thing I've ever read. This story completely hooked me, and I cannot wait to read it in it's entirety.
4.) Black Lies ★★★★★
These short excerpts completely fulfilled their job by making me want to read this whole book all over again. I remember reading this and being in a complete and utter amazing daze because the story was that addicting. I relived all of that while reading this, and cannot stress this enough: If you haven't read this yet, please do so NOW.
5.) Tight ★★★
This short was extremely short. I also feel like I've read this story too many times. I was first introduced to this in the Bend Anthology, then I read the actual book, now in this compilation of sexy shorts. I don't know, it just didn't do much for me, and maybe just being over read is the reason.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and all the pieces that came together to make it. It's the perfect sexy and light read for a summer night with a bottle of wine.

Just the Sex: Erotica Shorts is a collection of erotic short scenes taken from The Dumont Diaries, Sex Love Repeat, End of the Innocence, Black Lies and Tight. There’s not much really to tell than skip the book and get ready yourself to the fucking.
Well, at least that’s what I told myself. But as I started reading, I am bothered to take a pause before every scene and think. Well, bothered in a good way. Because, I just can’t believe that Alessandra Torre has just picked out my every favorite smut scenes in those books mentioned.
One thing I realized is that every scene makes me want to reread every book especially The Dumont Diaries. I might have a change of heart, I don’t know but I’ve seen Nathan and Drew in a different light.
One thing that I hope was included was Madison and Paul’s meeting in Sex Love Repeat, that on the beach. That was totally hot. Why was that not included? *sad face

Make no mistake about this book, it is exactly what it says it is. Just the sex. It’s a compilation of sex scenes from many of Ms. Torre’s other books. They do not disappoint. Everything hot and sexy that you love about the full length books is jam packed into this one.
There are only a few of her books that I haven’t read so this was a nice look at what is to come, and I am definitely excited about the one’s I still need to read. This also provided a sexy look back on the books that I’ve already read.I liked that it was divided up by book so I always knew which characters I was spying on.
If you’re looking for something quick and sexy, this is perfect. Alessandra never disappoints with her smutty scenes and this compilation just might cause smoke to start billowing out of your kindle.

I've read all of these books and everyone of these sex scenes (AKA, "sort erotic stories") are 5 star smoking hot! Not only can Torre write a hell of a good sex scene, she writes unbelievably unique and entertaining stories to go along with them! That's why she's one of my top 3 favorite authors!

I received a copy of this book as a part of a giveaway from the Shh… [Smut, Heroes & HEA…] group on GR. I’ve never read Alessandra Torre but have a few cued up on my TBR list. This is a compilation of sex scenes from a few of her full length novels.
As a stand-alone it’s not enough. It really was just the sex, no fillers. That got old after a while. I rarely say this, but I actually thought there was too much sex. Gasp! However, the sex was indeed raunchy and hot!
As a teaser, it did its job. I now want to read some of the full-length novels these stories were pulled from to get the full context of what prompted all the sex in this book. I thought these stories were well-written and intriguing. Lots and lots of naughty goodness.
“I’m --” The word ‘close’ never made it off my lips. It couldn’t, never had a chance at life, my orgasm eating it for dessert with a ravenous need that took hold of everything else in its path.
The excerpts from Sex Love Repeat were probably my favorite. I must get my hands on this book very soon. All in all this was a fun read. If you're in the mood to go straight for the sex, this books for you. If you like substance with your sex, I don’t know if I would read this book in particular, but I would recommend Alessandra Torre.

Just like the title suggests this book is a collection of "just the sex" from some of Alessandra's books. I have read all the books that these scenes were taken from and although you don't need to read them to get the full pleasure out of this book it is nice to know the back story and read "just the sex" again. It was a delicious short read just for your pleasure. Like with everything Alessandra writes you will need to have your fan close by to cool you down because this is hot stuff! Alessandra...you dirty, kinky woman! LOVED IT!!!
