In thirty odd pages, Zoe York is able to do what other authors cannot in a hundred pages. Without wasting a word, she plunks the reader right into the action and introduces a romance with ease. She helps you see the history between the couple, expressing their feelings and sensations, showing rather than telling. I enjoyed this short story as I've enjoyed all her works so far.

Very quick, enjoyable lunch break read! It was very sweet, but definitely wanting more of these two! Goes to show how awesome an author is though when they can suck you in in a 20 page book!!

This short read will probably have you waiting to get back to your book retailer looking to see if more of the story has been written and published because although this is just a moment in their lives you know it heads somewhere. Loved it.

Not bad
Disappointing that it was so short. There wasn’t enough pages to develop a proper story or characters. But in spite of that, we got the gist of the romance.

I fun and lighthearted short story about two friends who have been close since high school. They are now each facing a turning point in their lives; Ember is about to graduate from college and Gage is embarking on a promising music career. Each has secretly been crushing on the other for years, but they are both afraid of ruining their awesome friendship by exploring the potential for more.
A night of celebration, and lots of tequila, lowers their inhibitions as the spark of attraction burning between them ignites a flame! Will their friendship survive the inevitable morning after walk of shame or is this only the beginning of a beautiful forever after?

This little short story was quick and easy. Perfect for a rainy afternoon read! There's not much to it ... we have two friends who have known each other for a while, each at turning points in their lives. They both, of course, have secretly had a crush on each other for years now and want to maybe make a move, but do they risk their friendship? Well, tequila takes the question out of their hands and puts it to the test LOL .... Does their friendship survive? DO we have a romance waiting in the mist? I guess we'll find out in TOUCH ME!
I would have loved for it to be longer, but it wasn't lacking and hopefully Ember and Gage's story will come to full circle HEA in Touch Me!

Curious about this author and realised that I had this Kindle freebie.* Well-written and unlike this author's other works, MCs are in their early 20s. Really, really short but such a sweet 'awwww!' story—childhood/HS friends harbouring long-time secret crush whilst following their respective goals.
I personally could relate to their dilemma. So if these two have any more to say, I'd be willing to listen. :)

Very short and sweet
Ember and Gage have been best friends forever. Gage is an up and coming rocker, Ember is about to graduate college. When he surprises her, they get drunk and kiss. They have both wanted each other for years and have decided to go for it. This is a very sweet, sexy story.

a cute short story of a friendship turned into so much more! Gage is a musician about to record his first single with his band and Ember is his best friend. They both have feelings for the other and none of them wants to say so they dont ruin their friendship. A bottle of champagne and a few shots of tequila later... the truth comes out.

While they both believe the other has become out of their reach since high school...they discover maybe they still have a lot in common and have both been holding the same secret in their hearts.

See Me is that story that you went through in high school where you had a crush on the hot guy (possibly in a band maybe not) and you thought he only saw you as a friend and he thought you only saw him as a friend.... what becomes of this thinking??

The book was amazing. My only complaint was it was a short read (which I knew going in). I don't mind novellas. In fact, they seem to be the only way I can get books read lately. But when I fall hard for the characters, like I did here, I want more.

I love when friends finally give in to what they truly want, a relationship. I'm really liking Ember and Gage so far. Lord knows I love books about hot rockers. Can't wait to read more about these two. I think it's going to be really hot!

Such a lovely short story about best friends who move to the next step after many ears of close friendship. They are both celebrating their achievements and could think of no other person they want to be with than each other. Really sweet.

Seriously, to just end the story like that. Definitely a 5 star book if it would have been longer. I was really waiting and wanting to see how their first day as a couple would be.
