A food-truck-festival gone awry, potentially murderous snails, and a health inspector with a grudge against food trucks…
When eccentric artist Kylie Mince and her husband Pierre find themselves accused of murder, they call on Tiffany Black and Rosie to help them out of this predicament.
But with so many unusual suspects, could this case be too much for the investigators? Worse still, could they have underestimated how dangerous this killer is?
A.R. Winters delivers another delightfully quirky and engaging cozy mystery with The Case of The Food Truck Fiasco in Las Vegas, the 32nd installment of the Tiffany Black Cases series. This time, Tiffany and her ever-charming partner Rosie find themselves deep in the chaos of a food truck festival gone wrong—complete with bizarre accusations, potentially murderous snails, and a health inspector with a vendetta against food trucks.
From the start, the case draws you in with its eccentric suspects and offbeat humor. When artist Kylie Mince and her husband Pierre are wrongfully accused of murder, they turn to Tiffany and Rosie to clear their names. As always, Tiffany's determination and wit shine through as she navigates the maze of oddball characters and unexpected clues that make this series so much fun. The food truck setting adds a fresh and lively backdrop, filled with the hustle and bustle of Vegas and its vibrant culinary scene.
What I loved most about this installment is how A.R. Winters effortlessly balances the lighthearted charm of the story with a gripping mystery. The case might revolve around the seemingly harmless world of food trucks, but don’t be fooled—the stakes are real, and the danger is lurking beneath the surface. As the investigation deepens, Tiffany and Rosie find themselves up against a killer who’s more dangerous than they first anticipated, and the suspense keeps you guessing until the very end.
The humor in The Case of The Food Truck Fiasco is as delightful as ever. Fans of Janet Evanovich and Rhys Bowen will love the witty banter, quirky situations, and endearing characters that have made this series a favorite. Rosie’s colorful personality perfectly complements Tiffany’s sleuthing skills, and their partnership continues to be a highlight of the book.
For those who enjoy cozy mysteries with a dash of humor, intriguing twists, and charismatic characters, this standalone novel is a must-read. Whether you’re a long-time fan of the series or new to Tiffany’s world, The Case of The Food Truck Fiasco offers a perfect blend of fun and mystery that will keep you entertained from the first page to the last.
Grab a cupcake (or a food truck treat) and settle in for a fun, fast-paced mystery that proves Tiffany Black still knows how to crack a case—no matter how bizarre!.

A girl’s day out at the food truck festival for Tiffany, Rosie, Midori, & Angel comes to a screeching halt when Marvin Crunch, the founder falls dead. Artist, Kylie Mince, is arrested and begs “best friend” Tiffany to clear her name. Detective Elwood is quite happy for her to be involved with the case for a change, as he eats his way through the investigation. Chasing down clues works up the appetite. With sabotage, an explosion, loud Reggae-ton, an over zealous health inspector, wine slushies, meddling cousins, and quirky truck owners on the menu, can Tiff & Rosie solve this one without getting heartburn?
The Tiffany Black cases are always an entertaining read, and this was one of the best I’ve read so far. Lots of genuinely laugh out loud moments throughout: keeping 6 year old Angel from having alcoholic drinks, going “undercover” as Sugar & Spice, Midori’s hijinks, Kylie & Pierre’s dramatics, & Tiff & Rosie’s banter at the French restaurant, to name a few. The plot has plenty of twists keeping you guessing as to the culprit or culprits. Overall, a rollicking good read.

Well even the police are happy to investigate the murder at the food truck festival. Every one has one goal the same, to eat at every truck and enjoy the many varieties. Some trucks are easy to see, some are more out of the way. When the owner of the festival is poisoned, Tiffany and Rosie are asked by their friend Kylie because she finds herself in the suspect number one spot. The investigation is bot only complicated by the endless lists of suspects, but, they are uncovering bribes. Bribes for the best spots and, maybe even the health inspector is accepting bribes from the towns restaurant. Maybe the argument he had with Marvin, the owner of the festival has something to do with the murder. If so, why? Another great Vegas book.
Tiffany and Rosie are enjoying a food truck festival when someone ends up dead from mysterious circumstances. They agree to help clear the name of a friend who is arrested for the crime. With questionable food truck owners and a shady health inspector, there are a lot of suspects to sort through. Good thing there is a lot of food to keep them going! This is an enjoyable cozy that can be read as a standalone.
What an unusual, but a unique idea for a murder to take place. Who would murder the proprietor of the food truck fiasco? So many unhappy food truck owners to choose from and not enough evidence to point them in the right direction. Tiffany and Rosie, along with their motley crew have their work cut out for them. A uniquely clever plot with a lot of disgruntled constituents makes for a very devious murder. I had to put on my thinking cap for this one. A great read.
The title says it just fine . Tiffany and Rosie came to the food festival with food trucks was in Las Vegas for a weekend. Stone is around too. Not only did she solve who was trying to destroy food trucks she solved a murder. Both Rosie and Tiffany were in a traveller that blew up. They came out just fine maybe a little hurt.I have read lots of A.R. Winters and all were excellent.
Another home run for AR Winters. I love everything she writes and I know you won't be disappointed. A food truck festival seems like a great idea...I mean everyone loves to eat. Kylie and the gang go to the festival and run into Kylie and her husband Pierre who are running a snail food truck. When someone dies from eating supposedly tainted snails, Kylie rushes to find her "friend" Tiffany to help clear her of a murder charge.

Please don't take this wrong the way, I'm trying to offend anyone. And please don't get the wrong impression about me. I simply adore and thoroughly enjoy Tiffany Black. But, I noticed discrepancy is spelling, i.e. talking say to Reed is in the conversation and later her is referred to as Alec, please note these were not saying that they are in the book, thank you Avid reader. murderous mayhem is on the menu when jealousies and competition gets out of hand.
Can Tiff and Rosie serve up some common sense and justice - maybe.
Fun and fabulous adventures and action as they try to manage keeping themselves, friends, family and clients intact, and mostly our of trouble - ultimately.
I enjoyed this book so much that it was hard to put down. A clever mystery at a food truck festival made this unique and up to date. There were plenty of twists and turns which surprised me as to who the murderer was. This was a great book that’s entertaining, has quirky characters and a little danger. I look forward to reading the next book.

Old friends, new friends, over-zealous health inspector, fake accent chefs and a murder keep Tiffany and Rosie busy and well fed as they investigate at a food truck festival that even has grumpy Elwood in a good mood. Really enjoyed this story.
Tiffany and Rosie eat their way into solving this mystery. Food trucks have a whole new meaning for these two sleuths. A page turner with very unusual characters.
