Shortly after moving into his new home, Taiyo finds another kitten in need of help. He names her Konatsu and takes her home, but Yuki is uncertain about his new housemate. Taiyo enlists the help of fellow cat-lover Utako and her friends but still has trouble finding a foster parent for his new kitten. Can Yuki and Konatsu learn to get along?
Aww, how can you NOT love a heartwarming story about rescuing a helpless kitten and nursing her back to health!
(I guess if you're a cat-hater, in which case, I question how you even got to my review...)
What's extra nice about this volume is you can pretty much read this without having read the prior books in the series; it's pretty clear what's happening, and all you really need to know is how they react. There are even some funny bonus four-panel shorts to balance out the heartstring-tugging emotional main story!
Really recommend this for anyone who wants to look into an adopting a cat, who owns a cat or has owned a cat. This series does such a great job of explaining the care for kitties but also has a great story of how cats open our hearts up and I prove our lives
Gosh this volume made me realize how much cat culture is the same around the world. All the cat personalities and how we as human connect with our cats. I love it. I do wish we had gotten more of his bestie and his potential love interest. This volume was just a lot of heart and cuteness
Adorable as always. I'm glad Yuki got some cuddle time in the end. Konatsu's story is adorable. I'm happy she went to a good home. I completely understand the emotions and panic knowing that your animal will die before you will. But just enjoy the time with them while you have it.
