“The Feather” is an inspiring story about finding courage to leave the familiar and explore new beginnings. Through poetic words and beautiful illustrations, it reminds us that change can lead to growth, freedom, and unexpected opportunities. This book is ideal for anyone embarking on a new chapter in life, offering comfort and hope with every turn of the page. It’s a simple yet powerful gift for both adults and teens going through transitions.
Reading it made me pause and reflect on my journey—it felt like a gentle nudge to trust the unknown.
I’ll be keeping this book nearby for those moments when I need a little extra encouragement.

A beautiful metaphor for life!

An interesting story of a feather leaving its nest to go and find meaning. It’s a great metaphor for navigating the different chapters of our lives with courage and determination and getting out of our comfort zone. The illustrations are minimalistic yet evoke a lot of emotions with the floating text which creates movement and depth. A great story about passage of time.

Leaving the Nest

This light, colourful read follows a feather from origin to destination. This second version provides a better expectation in introduction and an improved cover. I like that wherever the feather went, it clearly stood out, another allegory. This would be a nice keepsake for kids going to college, leaving home to live in a new place for the first time, or going away to live with another part of the family. Joyful celebration of change.

beautiful illustrations

This book was a beautiful illustration book perfect for kids and adults alike. The story was poetic and short; meanwhile, the pictures really created a world for the reader that was easy to follow. I would recommended this for anyone who loves birds, picture books, and simple stories.

Oh feather where art thou?

Where will a fallen feather end up? The possibilities are endless. The wind blows her to and fro, she will end up where no one knows. New beginnings are unpredictable just as the feather in this book. 😊

Beautiful

The book is beautifully illustrated and the message is incredibly uplifting. The story inspires us to look beyond to what come ahead of us instead of dwelling on the past. Would be inspiring as a bedtime story to teach children resilience, or for people of all ages.

I bought both versions of this book at the same time because I wanted to see the difference in compare. The story is so beautiful and so are the illustrations!
