Flora Dare lives in Durham, NC in a cute little pink house, with her husband, Scott and their hellion of a puppy, HaliToeses. She writes love, lust and mayhem in almost every flavor, and like The Pirate Movie, she wants a happy ending, every time!
Anya's hreat and been battered and betrayed at every turn now she's just trying to figure out how to move on, but once again her father's selfishness could ruin everything. Can she ever trust Leo again after everything he's put her through? Does she really want to?
Seeing Anya go through so many horrible things all you want is to see her get her piece of happiness. As we get through this last installment of her story thing are turned around for her at the begining and throughout you see her decide if Leo is worth another chance in the end. We've seen her come to realize her new desires and try and accept them and we've seen her become stronger for everything she's gone through. Good mini series for a lazy afternoon of reading.
There were a number of typos and grammatical errors, which as anyone who reads my reviews know infuriates the hell out of me.
Part 1 started in spectacular fashion, part 2 fell flat in places for me, and this, part 3, did pick up a bit, but I was still left wanting. It's one of those situations where you can't quite put your finger on it, but it just needed a bit more. I just wish I knew what that bit more was, so I could be constructive with this review, but I don't, so I can't.
All in all it's a good read, and I will continue to read more by this author as this series is a really promising start to her career.
Although I enjoyed the story line, I am extremely disappointed in the amount of errors in these books. There are so many spelling errors and instances where there is just the wrong word in the place that I am almost certain nobody read this book before releasing it, spell check acted as editor. It is very distracting figuring out the right word to insert to make the sentence make sense. Also the fact that this was split into 3 books. It should have been one. Why was it split like that? Then with ALL of these unprofessional mistakes going on, the author had the nerve to charge $2.99 each. So disappointed.
I was introduced to the first installment of this trilogy through a box set. I bought the second and third installments as soon as I knew they were out. I love the story, but took off one star for the length. I was able to read it through in a little over an hour. If I could have given it a 4.5, I would. I feel the last installment was a little rushed. All in all, all three parts are absolutely worth the purchase!
Flora Dare is a talented writer and worth checking out.
I loved this book and the series. Leo has some trust issues and has a hard time believing Anya and she is trying to prove to everyone that she is not to blame. Anya father doesn't help and she runs from everyone only to have Leo come to her rescue. Great series to read. Looking forward to more books by the author and hopefully more on the characters in the series.
