I was honestly really interested with this book so I had rather high expectations upon reading this. Sadly they weren't met because I didn't like the writing and the plot very much. For me, the plot wasn't clear enough and I had trouble understanding the characters: Kade and Maddox. So overall, I'd rate this book a 2 out of 5, but I'm definitely still gonna read and finish the series since it was a quick read for me and I think I'll finish the series in no time at all.
