Aria got used to being alone. All she wants is to go by unnoticed without doing anything that will attract the attention of those around her. Because she hates attention and hates people in general. Except for Raymond, the most popular boy in school, whom he secretly loves. But circumstances bring the two together. It's just that Raymond has a lot of secrets of his own. I don't want to give out more details about the synopsis, but believe me, you are not ready for the plot-twist in this book. 🤯
This is the third book I read from this writer, and this one might be my favourite and certainly the darkest of all. I definitely noticed a big improvement in the way she writes, in character and storyline building.
I identified with Aria the best of all the characters imagined by A. R. Mariah. She is probably one of the few characters who really suffers from social anxiety, described extremely well and realistically. In addition, she is a loner with a low self-image and destructive tendencies. I also liked Raymond; he was much more likeable than the boys in the other books. He takes care of Aria, even if his ways seem strange sometimes.🤭 I appreciated the chapters from his perspective, and I would have loved to read more. The relationship and the connection that they developed simply melted my heart.
The story is unique, with a plot-twist so shocking and unexpected that I have rarely read before. Followed by several other equally shocking reveals. I had no idea in which direction the story would go and how it would end until the very last chapter. The combination of thriller-mystery and slow-burn romance seems perfect to me. Like the previous books, read carefully because it describes hard topics: substance use, addiction, eating disorders, self-harm, toxic relationships, and quite graphic scenes. I mean, pretty much everything I like to find in a book. 😄
In conclusion, I highly recommend the book because it is a unique, intense, shocking, and emotional story. In addition, it is written by an author from Romania. Can’t wait for the paperback to come out! 😊
Fluid by A. R. Mariah I don't know what kind of potion A. R. Mariah uses, but her books are addictive!! "Fluid" tells the story of Aria and Raymond, two teenagers who yearn for love and whose souls are lost in a darkness so dense that they let themselves be carried away by it. Even if at first I thought I was witnessing a typical teenage love story, the entire narrative took a dramatic turn. I really liked the combination of love, manipulation, toxicity, addiction, these being a small part of those "elements" that give books a note of uniqueness. It was one of those stories that I flew through, as evidenced by the fact that I managed to finish it in a few hours. I loved the dynamic between Aria and Ray, even if their relationship wasn't a healthy one at first, I could feel their chemistry. And the way in which their relationship evolved? The chefs kiss!! I admired Aria from the first pages. She has a special charm, she managed to pleasantly surprise me, and every time I found myself in the position of putting myself in her shoes, she moved me terribly. Aria is one of those characters that makes you wonder "Why did she do this?", but I think this is exactly what makes her shine and gives the reader the excitement to read another chapter and another, until the moment which story comes to an end. And I can say that I admired Ray, even if in the action I had moments when I disliked him, as in the case of Aria, precisely the flaws give him a nuance of uniqueness compared to other characters, and through their prism we can see. and the dark side. The plot left me speechless, everything seemed so interesting, many scenes left me speechless. It was one of those books that I thought about a lot even after I finished it!! I recommend it from the bottom of my heart, especially people who love dark books
"Fluid" was truly an emotional rollercoaster for me, taking me through every possible state of mind. In this story, the main characters are Aria and Raymond, and everything begins when they are in college (high school), at the age of 18.
Aria has an uncontrollable crush on Raymond and does everything she can to catch his attention. However, what she doesn’t know is that from that moment on, her life will take a major turn.
Raymond doesn’t share her feelings, but the two become very close friends. When Aria is left all alone in the world, he helps her find a job and offers her a room in the apartment where he lives.
They go through a lot together, and their friendship grows stronger and stronger. What happens between them on a romantic level, however, I’ll leave for you to discover. I don’t want to give too many details because I’d love for you to dive into this story just as I did: without knowing too much 🙃.
I can assure you, though, that you’ll experience plenty of twists and turns.

**”Fluid” by A.R. Mariah** I can say I devoured this book... Just like with *”Addictions”*, another book by the same author, I really appreciate how we’re presented with some problems and vices that young people might face. Aria is the type of person who doesn’t like being the center of attention, which is why she prefers to stay in her own space, without getting involved with other classmates. But she’s fallen for a guy — Raymond, who is her complete opposite. To gain the attention of the most popular boy, she ends up doing things she never imagined. Raymond gets a lot of fame and attention from his classmates, but it doesn’t bring him any satisfaction. To find out what happens next, I highly recommend reading the book because it’s worth it! I gave it 5 ⭐️🥰
" Sometimes I think it's better to be like you, to go among them unnoticed " 🖤 I want to start by thanking the author for the opportunity to read this copy. ❤️ 🖤 Aria is a high school girl who is invisible to those around, like a ghost. 👻 🖤 Raymond is the popular, mysterious boy who stole Aria's heart . 🖤 She comes from a wealthy family, he doesn't. Different people, who come from different worlds, but who complement each other perfectly. 🖤 A book that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Full of exciting moments, plot twists, etc. I urge you to read this story. 💕 🖤 "In addition, I would also like to ask him why he helped me, risking his life for me. After all, I'm just a ghost."
