Dr. Nimesh Patel provides easily understood and actionable points of advice on how to be successful and impactful as a physician (or person, patient, or parent for that matter.) The advice he gives centers around the key building blocks of emotional intelligence and feels as though a wise and measured physician is talking to his younger, eager yet naive self about things he wished he knew back then. Dr. Patel not only presents clear and useful advice, but he connects to the reader through vulnerable personal moments woven with stories from his life and his training in a way that solidifies these lessons with a mental/visual example.
