He thought he could handle any hit the Boss dropped in his lap. But...a baby?
Craig is the best he is at what he does, even if what he does isn't very nice. Being a mob hit man isn't a glamorous life, but he enjoys it. He finds it...serene.
But his world is turned upside down when a phone call alerts him that he has an infant daughter, and due to the unexpected passing of her mother, Craig is thrust into fatherhood more or less against his will... Because his Boss takes family very seriously.
But the rising star company Maid For You has come to the rescue. They send him Tori, a young half-elf, half dairy minotauress in need of a job that won't fire her by the end of her first week. At first the pair don't exactly hit it off, but there's something dangerous about Craig that Tori just understands; as it turns out, she has skeletons in her closet as well.
Will the two of them be able to raise Craig's baby without much drama, or will the ghosts of Tori's past come back looking for her? Will Craig be able to bond with baby Cadence and learn to care for his new nanny? Or will he remain nothing but a cold-blooded killer?
Very well done, sir. If you decide to come out with a fourth one, I’ll be surprised I don’t. I wouldn’t know where you would get the storyline, but I would be intrigued to read it. This was very enjoyable. I commend you, bravo.

Did not think it was possible but so far...from this author the first installment is the best book they made and very little has come close to that,....the second book was good too but my feelings for the second book aren't as strong as what I feel for the first book...it was a good sequel don't get me wrong but it did not scratch that "itch" I was hoping to get from the sequel. see my review and comment if you like to discuss that.
However this book....I went into it with some hesitation since I knew from the blurb who was going to be our main protagonists...Craig, which if you read the second book you know that it isn't exactly how you expect the story to continue...Low and behold my surprise is that the book wonderfully expands on a seemingly empty character and adds depth to a robust foundation set out in the first two books with an engaging plot and some depth. The dialogue is wonderful and the interaction between characters is done exceptionally well, the kind I have grown to love from the first book. One minor gripe I did have was kind of the "samey" villain tactics from the major antagonist to settle a score by going after loved ones. I wouldn't say it's predictable since there the setting is completely different but to have a tough guy feel rather small in the final confrontation is a bit anticlimactic. After that, the ending is beyond satisfying and what makes it even better is that we get a glimpse into the future where it beautifully ties the first two books together and has previous "enemies" become friends which was heartwarming and really made it dare I say the best book in this trilogy.
Now I believe this is a finished trilogy and its fine as it is but there is ample room to revisit this universe if the authors decide to go for it.
The main character being the mob boss's hitman from the previous book was a wild left turn I did not expect, nor him suddenly being a single dad. That said, this is my favorite book in the series. Tori and Craig are deep and nuanced characters and the shenanigans between them are engaging and hilarious. Seeing Craig navigate dealing with other people without those interactions being intimidation or violence and his confusion about it is hilarious and heartwarming. Remember, pawsible deniability.
How did Virgil and Peter get a romance between a mob hitman and minotaur wetnurse right? Great story that flows really well and it made me cheer for Craig learning how to actually live life normally a little bit. The epilogue was perfect with all of the families together and Craig having that teachable moment. I definitely recommend reading this one!
Who would have thunk it, A hit man with a heart! Craig didn't start out that way, but after suddenly becoming a father and meeting Tori his milk maid minotaur his world turned upside Down! This story had action, adventure, spice, as Tori drew out Craig's humanity. Highly recommend this story.
I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series, but I think the third one is my favorite. I loved how each book features a different set of main characters, yet Virgil ties everything together so well in the end. And the smutty parts of the book are fantastic! Overall, I’d highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys smutty monsterkin stories.
I think this book has my favorite sociopath in any genre. May have accidentally read in one sitting and am writing this review at 3 a.m. Really love the tie-in with previous books. Most wholesome killer award.
New book, new couple, with a few nods to past books as well as building on them. Series is still going strong and I can't wait to see what they do next
No matter who you are, there is someone out there who can see your worth. Homicidal, obsessive, emotionally detatached? Have no fear, if you are willing to look, there is someone Made for You, too.
A excellent and high adventure erotic conclusion for this series. These crafters of the written word are so much fun to read!! I always check their profile pages for new releases. Super good stories!
