The longest piece in this anthology is "The Abominable Myra Linsky Rises Again" by Chuck Miller. It is an essential piece of Miller's complex alternate history, bringing together several loose ends and raising new questions. Narrated by Dr. Unknown, Jr.'s snarky assistant, Jack Christian, it also features assists from The Black Centipede and Baron Samedi.

The second story, "Kelly's Beast" by H. David Blalock, was a confusing noir piece involving either time travel or ancient demons or Jack the Ripper or Edward Kelly or something. There are large conflicting data dumps to little purpose. Not my cup of tea.

The third story, "The Unwrapping Party" by Josh Reynolds, is a rip-roaring mummy tale featuring The Royal Occultist, Charles St. Cyprian, and his apprentice, Ebe Gallowglass.
