Dying To Love Her 2

Rate this book
In sickness and in health...

In Ava, Andre Rockwell has found the woman of his dreams. Nevermind the fact she’s sick with a life-threatening heart condition. He loves her dearly and does everything in his power to prove that love. That’s why when Ava packs her bags and leaves unexpectedly, he has a hard time accepting that she wants their relationship to be over.

Ava convinces herself that Andre doesn’t deserve to be put through the agony of loving someone with her health issues, so she single-handedly makes decisions that may divide them as a family. However, she’s not aware of how deep Andre’s love for her runs. Soon, she’ll discover how it feels to be loved unconditionally by a man who would risk it all for her.

I really wanted this to be good

I am always so disappointed in stories where I like only one have of the couple. This review is after reading both books, which could have been one. But you have to make your money where you can. Ava had no logic nor any common sense. This was someone that could have truly benefited from seeing a therapist. You have a bad heart, but you won't accept help from anyone? You would rather work 2 jobs. You were not going to tell Andre about Andrew, but you were preparing to die. Who was going to take care of him then? Nonsensical. I was rooting for someone else to come into Andre's life. This is a pass.

I was so on the fence on scoring this novel. It was good to the very last word. Of course, Ava started to work my nerves, a lot! But her heart was really concerned for Andre. This novel put me on the emotional roller coaster of fretting how this new setback was going to work out. I ended up giving it a 5 because these emotions that I felt while reading it are truly evidence of good writing. I’m right there in the hospital room, in the waiting room- I could feel what the characters were experiencing. After surviving Book 2, at the end I discovered a Book 3. Lord, have mercy, can my emotions go thru another journey with Ava and Andre?

Twist and turns are crazy 🤯

This was a wonderful series. I was really pulling for Ava and Andre, hoping that they would make it through this difficult time. Ava is so focused on dying and pulling away from Andre that it's hard to read sometimes. Still, I'm going on to book three, hoping for the best for these two. It's always my pleasure reading your books 🥰.

Penetrative Love

Andre's Love for Ava peers right through you through these pages. I love how he and his family instantly loved her. And her mother loved him for her! Yet with all this love comes strife. How one can love another too much and not feel worthy of such love. Just let Love Love!

Hard to rate....

This one was very hard to rate. Although I understood Ava's way of thinking, she got on my nerves with her pessimistic attitude. Instead of trying to live her life to the fullest, she stopped living before she died. Andre still loved her. At first, I thought she was pregnant. This was a good fiction, because doctors don't put people of color on the front of the list. Our former vice President, for example. Good read.

I love a story that pushes my buttons and messes with my emotions - and this one had me all over the place!

I actually had to walk away from it a time or two...or four, because I was so angry. Ava and her one-woman pity party worked my nerves! I understand she didn't want to "burden" Andre with her illness, but she didn't have an expiration date stamped on her butt, and Andre was running out of ways to prove to her it didn't matter. When she returned to NC, I almost cried.

I felt bad for Andre and could feel his frustration. Ava was making him doubt himself and his actions. I would not have thought less of him had he walked away, but I am SO glad he didn't go down that road. When Ava's condition worsened, I didn't think Andre would make it - trying to stay strong for everyone. When he questioned his father and the nurse about making the ultimate sacrifice for Ava, I couldn't handle anymore and cried for 20 minutes! Now that is love!

After having spent so much time with depressed Ava, I would like to have seen more of happy Ava, but that's just me and my HEA-self!

Great sequel!

Seriously Ava you still running, I just can't enough is enough already that Andre don't deserve that. Her pity party was too much for me, it took awhile for me to finish because of Ava character but I will still recommend the book especially the first one

Very inspiring and uplifting

Wow, every woman would want a man or husband like Andre. Now that's love. A man willing to stay strong for his family and sacrifice his own life just so his wife can live on, priceless. I love this story. The true meaning of love between Andre and Ava.
