Saving The Alien Chieftain by Laura Roth and Salina sky, this is the second book in the Klendathian Cycle Alien Romance series. In the second book Krogoth in Roxy make it to his home planet but it wasn’t the welcome they wanted. An elder from a different tribe tries to get Krogoth hung for treason and the almost gets his way the tribal decide if Roxy can finish The Proving, which is a trek through their wilderness to the house of their gods that most young warriors don’t come back from. not only will she live, but so will her beloved. Unfortunately it isn’t just the wild life on the strange planet that she’s going to be up against butt with a little help from aliens and a lot of tenacity Roxy just may do it. This isn’t the best review but trust me when I say this is my all time ever ever favorite alien romance book. Roxy Ann Krogoth still haven’t done his version of a marriage ceremony nor have they been all the way intimate yet and it seems they cannot catch a break. I cannot wait for faded to the alien chieftain because I really want these two to get there happily ever after. This book is so good it really could be a movie or at the very least a TV show these two authors are very talented and instead of writing a lightly plotted porn story they’ve written a proper novel with characters you can really route four. I absolutely loved the first book and now I love the second as well. This is the second episode in the five-part saga of Krogoth and Roxanne aka Pebbles. It has its nasty villains, lots of violence and gore, and even a few laughs. Roxanne is definitely the star of this episode. She faces unimaginable challenges, both mental and physical, in her quest to save Krogoth from execution.

There are all species and sizes of creatures for her to defeat along the way. Big teeth, sharp claws. Terrifying. No help...well, none that she can acknowledge. Roxanne must complete "the Proving" and obtain the approval of the gods at the temple of Sunaisor in order to save Krogoth. How can a small female human persevere where so many burly, young, trained Klendathian warriors have failed?

While the story has an interesting plot, I found it to be too wordy to be truly engaging. It was a bit of a struggle for me to stay constantly interested in turning the next page.

Saving the Alien Chieftain is the second story in the Klendathian Cycle series which I thought to be quite suspenseful and certainly a page-turner. Author Lara Roth continues to create captivating romance books with sensational plots, fabulous characters, and marvelous outcomes. Saving the Alien Chieftain is the story of Krogoth and Roxanne who I absolutely enjoyed getting to know throughout this book as well as seeing their story unfold. Saving the Alien Chieftain is fantastically written, well balanced and amazingly executed by Author Lara Roth. I absolutely enjoyed reading Saving the Alien Chieftain and not only getting to know the main characters of this book, but I also loved learning about all the other characters throughout the story. Saving the Alien Chieftain is definitely an alien romance book which I would give as a recommendation for anyone who enjoys reading alien romance stories.

The second book in the series slows down on the steamy aspects, there’s really only one scene. But the character growth and world building are amazing. Their love is growing ever stronger and ever deeper. I love how strong Roxy is getting, definitely able to stand equal to such a warrior chieftain, both mentally and physically.
And Krogoth is learning so much about his human mate and what she can really accomplish. This next story has been amazing and I am truly looking forward to the next book!
As others have said it does have a bit of a cliffhanger ending. Thankfully not one of the horrible ones, where you’re right in the middle of a scene. But there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered and bad guys that need to be dealt with. Can’t wait!!!

Roxy, our FMC for the series, is sent on a Proving to free the MMC from wrongful imprisonment.
No one expects a human to survive, especially one of the elders… who’s sent some assassins to hunt her down.

This is book 2 in the series (which is slow burn). Zero spice in this one, but it’s very hard to be spicy in a forest that’s full of creatures trying to kill you. There’s plenty of action though! And some nicely done battle scenes. I really wish the cover didn’t have boob armor (the writers make it sound like there isn’t that super common video game character armor bra/bustier type thing but I don’t think the art got the message).

I received an ARC of this, and it was absolutely worth the read. Once I got some free time I zoomed right through. Couldn’t put it down.

Saving the Alien Chieftain continues the story of Roxanne and Krogoth in this second book of thrilling action, adventure, and Sci-Fi romance.
Arriving on Krogoth’s home world of Klendathor, Roxanne is enchanted by its beauty and the prospect of exploring her new home.
But happiness comes at a price and the political intrigue that swirls around Krogoth soon tears them apart leaving it up to Roxanne to get him back and finding out just how strong she really is in the face of the proving.
I enjoyed this immersive and nicely written narrative which is complimented by its captivating world building that together kept the story fast paced and edge of the seat good.
Cliffhanger ending, can’t wait for the next book.

I couldn’t put it down!

Saving the Alien Chieftain is book 2 in the Klendathian Cycle series. I recommend starting the series from book 1, Kidnapped by the Alien Chieftain since this book picks up where that one leaves off and you do not want to miss a thing!

There is a whole new world for Roxanne to discover and with many new adventures and challenges, a new and ominous villain and a relationship still so new, she and Krogoth will be tested to the max. I loved revisiting many of the characters from book one and there are so many new and endearing characters in Saving the Alien Chieftain to meet.

The Klendathian Cycle series is well written, creative, and a thoroughly fun read full of danger, thrills and excitement. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book and to see how this fanciful space opera will continue!

This was another fun addition to the series, and yes, there’s more to come so watch for the cliff when you hit the end. Lol! Roxy is on her challenge to save Krogoth from execution so it’s quite the adventure for her. There is a lot of action, danger, villains and humour as she tries to survive and thrive in the forest. Do not expect much romance as our couple are not really together during this installment. However, it’s got fab world building and is fast paced with crazy creatures. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book to see how things continue to unfold for Roxy and Krogoth. Good fun!

What a heart pounding rush!
In this second book of the series Roxy finds her strenght and turns into a badass warrior and it's the chieftain that needs to be rescued.
She has to go through the proving,having to fight with all sort of beast,navigate a hard terrain,find her water and food,survive in the hardest conditions and finaly ask for blessing in the god's temple .
All with treachery and enemies trying to kill her ...
A heart pounding story that kept me on the edge until the last word and the cliffhanger made me want to scream!
Can't wait to read the next book!

Roxanne aka Rocks and Chieftain Krogoyh continue their story as they battle against the short sighted and greedy elders. Krogoth is slated for death but escapes his prison once he realizes Rocks has decided to complete the Proving, a grueling test of survival that would allow her to save him. Against all odds and the treachery of the elders, she survives brutal attacks by creatures and warriors. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Omg I so enjoyed this amazing Alien romance.I really enjoyed reading Krogoth and Roxanne's journey. Their love bond is so powerful. No matter what challenges the elders throw their way. Their mating bond guides them through their suspenseful journey. This is a must read. Hold on tight because it's a perilous journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Lara and Selina have written a fantastic book. I highly recommend this book. And I'm looking forward to reading the next book. Enjoy everyone

This in book 2 in this series. Now, :D while I am not a fan of sort of cliff hangers, as in a continuing series with the same characters, I have enjoyed these books, thus far. :)
We follow the continuing journey of Roxanne and Krogoth, with Roxanne having to proof herself to the Chief through a series of challenges. Obstacles to overcome and stay alive. It was another great read and thankfully we don't have long to wait for the next part. :D

Krogoth and Roxanne’s story continues when they arrive on his home planet. Forced into a traditional trial to save Krogoth, Rocks risks her life with help from his old friends. There’s constant action and a lot of information about Klendathian history, politics and wildlife. Krogoth and Rocks are a wonderful couple and great fun to follow. I’m really looking forward to whatever happens next.

Non-stop action!

Oh my gosh this was so good. These two have to go through so many trials and near deaths. Man does it end in a big cliff hanger. How can they possibly get out of the situation they find themselves in. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens next. I highly recommend you read this whole series.

I love how this book asserts Roxanne as a warrior when she sets out to prove herself and free Krogroth from the Klendathian council. The book is full of intrigue, danger, adventure, and steam. This is the perfect combination in a romance for me. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
