In the heart of Mulholland Falls money, power and prestige are everything. Brynlee Sutton is a young socialite who is independent and determined make a name for herself outside of her father- retired Judge Brandon Sutton. When tragedy strikes, she is forced to put her life on hold to care for her father and teenage sister Parker. However, Brynlee’s eyes are forced open when she realizes her father isn’t the hero she pictured him out to be. Brynlee realizes she is a casualty in a war she knew nothing about. Will she make it out alive?
Ramsey, with his undeniable charm and sharp intellect, has low tolerance for dishonesty and disrespect. He takes the Mulholland name very seriously. When Judge Sutton shows little regard for the Mulholland legacy and takes their kindness for weakness, Ramsey finds himself in an internal war. Will he jeopardize his character for his family name or emerge as the man he knows he is.
What happens when esteemed retired judge Brandon Sutton loses his wife? He loses his damn mind, and becomes a selfish, ruthless, money hungry bastard! Or was he that all along? 👀😤 Having borrowed millions of dollars from powerful families around town, and skipped out on paying them back, has left him in precarious position. But what does this coward do? Offer up his daughters to two of the families, along with their trust funds to pay off his debts and save his life. 🤬 The things I called this man in my head..... 😤
Brynlee being snatched up, and strong armed into marrying Ramsey Mulholland was not on her bingo card now or ever. But she would do whatever she could to help her father. Ramsey was not keen on the arrangement either, but knowing that Brynlee's father put her in danger, made him step up to protect her. It didn't take long for these two to put the past behind them, and fall into an easy friendship, that blossomed into more.
Then the secrets came tumbling out, and we find out that Brandon Sutton really, really ain't ish! 🤬 He deserved to die a slow and painful death, for the way he allowed his daughters to be treated, and all of the dirty deeds he committed. The Mulholland family did not play about their own, and those who crossed them would soon find that out.
I really enjoyed this read, however, I wonder will karma find Angelica's evil ass. She was the silent mastermind behind all of this ish in the first place. Ughhh.... 😡
Dark Romance, Kidnapping and Arranged Marriages. It’s that kind of story. 156 pages it’s a quick ride so the story moves at a quick pace. MMC was a leader and fixer. FMC was smart but still opening her eyes to what her world really is. The villains are a villains. Writing was good. Spice was minimal but felt authentic. The characters didn’t just change who they were once they got married, he still was a workaholic. The villains are all vile. I would love to read a book about Samson. I would recommend if you like dark arranged marriage books.

Whew! MS. DARONCIA has done it again! My mind is blown after reading Ramsey. I could not put this book down. Im a longtime fan and Suga baby was my favvvv. However, I’m happy to announce Ramsey has taken its place!
This story was so entertaining & juicy. I mean I thought I had a few things figured out but nope, DARONCIA proved why she is the queen of plot twists. I enjoyed Bryn & Ram together. Once everything was figured out, it was the cutest love story. The way he took care of her mind, body, & soul! This man is everything, especially in the bedroom😝 . I enjoyed all of the action, lies & deception as well. Hated to see we lost one but hey… this is what goes down in that world and I’m here for it—tears and all♥️
Whewwwww. Idk where to begin but I’m glad I read this book, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It was unexpected from beginning to end.
Brynlee Sutton was the daughter of a very powerful man and after dealing with the untimely demise of her mother, she soon realizes that her father (🙄🙄🙄🙄) gets her and her younger sister Parker in some DEEP mess and Ramsey Mulholland is here to collect.
Ramsey is what I would describe as a quiet storm. He’s the oldest son of the founding family of Mulholland Falls, about his money, and generally likes to keep his hands clean. But baby, Ramsey was HELL 😂🤭 and didn’t care how many times Brynlee acted up, he wasn’t letting up.
From kidnapping to forced marriage to secrets being exposed, we see Brynlee and Ramsey’s relationship grow in ways I didn’t imagine.
Ramsey….whew. Now I do think that Brandon should’ve told where he got his information from because she shouldn’t be able to reap the benefits from the marriage either. I am glad that Bryn and Ramsey connected and made the marriage work early on, Ramsey definitely stood on business about his family and would love to read about his brother coming as head of the family business
Whew chile!!! The secrets that started spilling. I’m so glad they got rid of that snake smh. This was a great read though. I loved the way they just fell into the arrangement.
Playing chess while others are playing checkers when you want the love, support and attention your opponent is receiving you pull in pawns that doesn’t have a chance on maneuvering or switching positions and being killed.
Well the author warned this was not a love story, but damn! It was definitely A STORY! A good read, even though the pace of the plot was a little wonky. I would recommend this book, it’s worth a look.
Even though kidnapped virgin/arranged marriages are my thing. This one just didn’t get in done for me. I guess because it just didn’t seem plausible, which kept throwing me off. Then on top of that Brinlee was hard to stomach. Her decision making left a lot to be desired. Then the Parker thing just didn’t add up.
So many surprises for such a short story! I enjoyed the story of Ramsey and Bryn. I’m glad they both agreed to give their arranged union a honest try. It turns out their union was the least of their worries in Mulholland Falls.
This is a shorty story about two rich families . Ramsey is rich and powerful but B's father owe s his father millions as well as other families. Ramsey's job is to kidnap B as leverage, but soon they find themselves in an arranged marriage . The drama that fills this enemies to lovers story is to good.
Time and time again I fall for the okie doke with this author lol! The plot twists, I don’t see coming (idk what that says about me lol). This story was definitely more than what I expected. I thought oh, arranged marriage.. enemies to lovers, they fall in love, the end…. totally not what transpired! This story was a RIDE! Ramsey was BEYOND a stand up guy despite being thrown into foolery & him choosing to save Brynlee unbeknownst to her.
This is my first book this author and it will not be my last Omggggg I have no clue where to start but to say the least money is the root of all evil what price are you willing to pay to get what you want lies love and betrayal plays big in peoples.live
Muholland Falls has so much money flowing through it, but with money comes, murder and mayhem. Lies of deception, greed, corruption, jealous spouses, and so much more. The plots kept twisting, and the ending made me smile like a Cheshire Cat. I do wish, Angelica( fitting name) was exposed, but the ending was perfect to close the chapter for Brynlee
The story had a good premise and it was a decent read; however, the story felt incomplete. It needed a few more chapters and development to bring everything together, but it was a decent read regardless.
