A fact-based history-mystery thriller is told through the eyes of a woman and a man who have no options. Criminal trial lawyer Lee Gunther knows who and what was behind the murder of Best Actress Oscar winner turned Princess Grace Kelly Grimaldi of Monaco. Now he has no choice but to join Calero.

One-time immigrant Jaime Calero has grown to become an FBI special agent, Perhaps she was born for this back-channel the joint FBI and CIA mission to take down brutal Panamanian dictator and drug kingpin Manuel Noriega. "Maybe this is God's way," she mutters in her departed mother's words, more so than her own.

Fact and fiction marvelously merge. Where did author Frederick Schofield find hidden truths? His father grew up next door to Grace Kelly. His dad knew what happened to the little girl, who became a princess, and to her family. Following Grace's murder, her brother Kell, a prominent Philadelphia City Councilperson and President of the U.S. Olympic Committee, was murdered just six hours and a dozen city blocks apart from where their brother-in-law Gene Conlan was slain.

As a lawyer, Schofield represented clients associated with Philadelphia's Mafia, The crime family was vicious even by Mafia standards. Nervous lips whispered stories. And Schofield's mentor in the law, Raymond J. Takiff, was one of three lawyers defending Panamanian general, president, dictator, and drug kingpin Manuel Noriega on U.S drug trafficking charges. Later Ray served as an undercover government witness in a sting operation that resulted in a record number of federal and state judges being indicted.

Travel in this one from Philadelphia to Monaco, the Baja Peninsula of Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama in a story that came to Schofield many ways. Lee and Jaime don't care how he learned. All that matters is staying alive until tomorrow . . . when you take A Run to Hell.
