Educator best known for his advocacy of progressive alternative education and as the author of more than thirty books on education. He founded the 1960s Open School movement and is credited with coining the term "open classroom."
This is an example of Kohl's sloppiness in writing after he became well known. maybe the guy is just too busy. Way too many projects. There is no telling what this book is about, and reading the dust jacket is a joke. I think that it is about how to survive a nervous breakdown, although that the writer is having one while he is putting it down on paper does not make things very clear. Since reading 36 Children and On Teaching, I bought like 5 books from this guy and every one of them needs serious editing. Love Kohl, would probably shield him from a bullet. But, man.
