Where do I begin with this standalone book? First off, I wish that it wasn't a standalone because of how it ended. 😭

Fallon is such an animal lover and will do anything to help out her furry friends. 🐶🐱 Her past relationship hadn't been the greatest until she met Mr. Right. 😍

Mr. Right, aka Ryker, works for his family's pumpkin farm. 🚜 One day, he was doing deliveries for a local coffee shop when a new lady in town catches his eye. 👀 It is his mission to get to know her, no matter how long it takes. 💕

All in all, this book is a fantastic fall book to read, with cute animal names in it. 🍁🍂 I highly recommend this book by L. Clara. 📚 #MustRead #FallRead

Clara wrote the comfort, small town, slow burn romantic comedy, Pumpkin Spice and Mr. Right, just for me. This adorably sexy RomCom had me going from heartbroken to giggling, to swooning in just a few chapters

Fallon takes a job running the Hollow Heights Animal Shelter after finding her fiance and best friend in bed together. With a new start to life, that excludes men, her first stop in town is The Caffeinated Pumpkin. Seriously, is there a better name for a coffee shop?!

Soon Fallon, and her beloved pup Marlow, are "bestie boos" with coffee shop owner Elle. What she's not prepared for is Elle's male bestie Ryker.

Okay, take a breath, because meeting Ryker is beyond swoony worthy. First the man owns a pumpkin farm! He takes care of a fox named Mr Feeny who sleeps on his lap. He brings Fallon meals because she forgets to eat when working, and when he calls her Darlin', well remember, breathe.

-Ok, to start off I don't always need a fluffy golden retriever personality even if the MFC owns a golden retriever, but Fallon's personality was about as fun to read as a blank newspaper...

-Fallon's kind of a 🐝itch. Dude walks in carrying a bunch of boxes, can barely see where he's going, accidentally bumps into her without realizing it, and she decides to hate him for 25% of the book because of this one interaction?

-The MMC immediately calls Fallon darling, baby, sweetheart, my girl...nope nope nope 😝

-They have no deep connection or deep conversations and after the second sleep over with nothing physical he wakes up to find he is in love with her and hopes she feels the same way??

I'm only 50% into the book and I honestly don't think I can finish it which hurts my heart (ok I'm being a tad bit over dramatic) because I always finish reading even if they are bad...but this one is just painful 👎

This book was the perfect cozy sweet read to kick off the fall season. I read it all in one day this past weekend because I just couldn’t put it down. To all my No gap thick thigh girlies this one is for you! Fallon our animal loving savior finds herself packing up after heartbreak to a small town that has the best coffee shop selling delicious Pumpkin spiced coffee!!!!! She catches the eye of our Sexy Pumpkin farm owner Ryker and makes him work hard to get the goods. The amount of tension in this book was killing me, I swooned at every page when you got a hunk of a man saying stuff like this!

Pumpkin Spice and Mr. Right by L Clara was the cutest read. If you like fall vibes, curvy FMC, found family, animal lover, sunshine/grumpy, pumpkin addiction, small town romance, and a slow burn then you will love this book!!

Clara wrote the cutest small town, fall story and I loved it! Clara did such a great job with the storyline and plot. I loved the characters and the animals Marlow and Hailey, she did a great job with them. Fallon moves to Hollow Heights after finding her boyfriend in nest with her best friend. After moving she soon meets Ryker at his BFF Elle’s coffee shop, and he is smitten with her immediately. I loved how patient he was with Fallon, he let her know he wanted to be with her, took his time getting to know her, and was so understanding of her fears. Fallon wasn’t looking to date so it took her a while to come around trust him. I wish this book was either a little longer or we could get a part two, because I enjoyed Fallon and Ryker’s story and this book so much. I think this would be a cute Netflix or Hallmark movie. I love Fallon! She is adorable and love her obsession with animals. She's the perfect animal rescue FMC. Its great to see a female lead be an animal rescuer. So many times female leads are corporate tycoons or bakers or something else. Fallon rescuing animals is a nice change of pace. Plus the author did a great job on showing how hard it is to continue to save animals. There's always more and never enough funding. Other than Fallons love for animals, I didnt enjoy her much as a character. She overreacted with a lot of things and didn't allow Ryker or anyone to explain themselves properly. She assumed the worst because thats what someone told her. Didn't stop to think at all. I get she had trust issues from what her ex and best friend did but she took it out on all the wrong people. Plus I absolutely despise the miscommunication trope! Talk people. You guys are adults!! Anyways, there are some very good sweet fall moments and Elle is amazing! I love her attitude and I hope she gets a book or a mention in other stories.

So L. Clara is one of my favorite authors so I knew I was going to love this no matter what, but D.A.M.N! This book was 🔥. The dynamic between Fallon and Ryker was just perfect! Their banter, their moments, even their miscommunication was on point throughout the entire book! I loved how much work Ryker put into their relationship. He was one determined man! Fallon was super skittish and had to be handled with care! Elle and Jake were FABULOUS supporting characters. I absolutely loved them! And I truly loved how much though L Clara put into the animal side to this story! The shelters and how hard they actually have it. I got two of my cats from a shelter and the hardest thing ever was only walking away with 2. Even though I had only gone in for 1!!! I am a bleeding heart when it comes to animals and this book got me right in the feels!

Another fantastic read from L Clara! Another story you shouldn’t miss! But at this point, you should have her on some sort of notification when she drops a new book so you get it right away! She is that good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The perfect cute, sweet, spicy, fall read. This is a new friends/enemies to lovers with some anguish and past trauma healing that leads to a happily ever after.

The FMC is new to town and it’s trying to heal from the betrayal of her ex fiancé. Her life revolves around her dog and the animal shelter that she helps run. Her landlord and new best friend help feed her need for pumpkin spice latte all year long. The MMC is the local pumpkin farmer that all the ladies want. He is not interested in dating anyone because he’s not found someone special enough. One morning he is delivering the local order of pumpkins to the coffee shop owner and bumps in to the FMC. He falls first and she wants nothing to do with him. How does he win her over?

The spice is sweet and hot. It is found throughout the whole book in many forms. This is found in more ways than just the bedroom, which brings the bedroom times to the next level.

Overall ratings 4.25 stars, 3.5 peppers and 0 black hearts.

This story was cute and I loved that the FMC ran an animal shelter. Rescues hold a dear place in my heart. The MMC owned a pumpkin farm which added to the charm of this book.

The characters we interesting and I enjoyed seeing them through the story. This is also a small-town romance which adds to the vibe of this book.

While I enjoyed the characters and the setting there was a major part of the story that I felt like one character was overreacting without all of the information. While I know that she was healing from a terrible past and those played into the reaction; I felt like she should've learned more from the situation and not listen to what someone else said was happening. There are also some triggers that could be hard for some readers so please check the content warning.

If you like small town romance and books that include dogs and farmers, then I think you might like this book. For the most part I enjoyed this story.

Pumpkin Spice is Amazing

L. Clara wrote a touching book that pulls at your heartstrings as a romance or animal lover.

Fallon left Arizona for a new start after she caught her boyfriend in bed with another woman. She was offered the perfect job in a small town. Her passion was animals and this job was exactly what she wanted.

Once she reached her new town she immediately befriended Elle who had a coffee shop - The Caffeinated Pumpkin. Fallon met Ryker in the coffee shop and was instantly attracted to him. She refused to act upon her attraction as she was not ready to date.

Ryker was obsessed with Fallon and was determined to make her fall for him. His persistence began to payoff as she began to feel closer to him but life can change at any minute.

Many emotions were felt as I read this book. Love can be found unexpectedly but trust is what makes a relationship.

Pumpkin Spice and Mr. Right was a cute and easy to read romance. I love a small-town romance. I thought the characters were great. Pumpkin Spice coffee shop and I am a sucker for animals, so the rescue was a great part of the story. I thought everything flowed really smoothly and it not only showed how to learn to trust again with a partner rather than never giving anyone a chance. I really like how the consistency of Ryker trying to pursue Fallon went smoothly like it wasn't like she just gave in the first time and then there was love. I also thought this story had real life scenarios that happen so it felt like you can actually believe this story.

If you are looking for a feel-good romance with some spice, but not an overwhelming amount, look no further! This is such a sweet romance! I see so much of my own husband in the way Ryker treats Fallon, and not to brag, but my hubby is the absolute sweetest man I’ve ever met.

This book took me through all of the emotions of being heartbroken as well as giddy in love. The way that Fallon absolutely loves animals and Ryker accepts and loves that about her was also awesome! This book is a great one to give you ideas of what to look for in a man because they are realistic traits that some guys do have!

I cannot recommend this book enough!! Definitely give it a shot!

Small town romance! This was such a cute story. Not my usual cup of tea (or should I say Pumpkin Spice Coffee?) but I did like it a lot. Fallon was such a relatable character. Her insecurities were real and valid. Ryker is great too - a bit clueless at times, but I loved his persistance. I loved Elle and Jack as side characters - they make fantastic friends for Fallon and Ryker.

In addition, it is wonderful to see that attention is put on pet adoption. I love all animals, whether purebred or not, but there are so many out there that need a safe and loving home.

OMG!! I loved this book!! This is Ryker & Fallon's story & I loved it!! This is a small-town romance & she nailed it!! Fallon is coming out of a horrible relationship & moves. She meets her soon to be bestie on day 1. After a while Ryker comes into the coffee shop & he sees Fallon for the 1st time & he is already half in love with her. I loved that he tried so hard to be with her & showed that he wanted to get to know her in small ways & he understands her issues. She takes a while to come around & those two together!! WOW!! I loved the spice & the storyline!! Highly recommend this book & author!

If you're looking to settle in with a cozy fall read, I'd definitely recommend this one. Although, there is some strong miscommunication near the end of the book, which made me extremely frustrated with both Fallon and Ryker, I also couldn't put the book down. Fallon moves to Hollow Heights to escape and start anew. Ryker is a Hollow Heights resident born and raised. They definitely had an instant attraction to one another but the burn isn't fast. The tension and build up was probably my favorite part. Well, no, that's a lie...the animals were my favorite part. Marlow, Hayley Bob, and Mr. Feeny were the best!

If your looking for a cowboy hat, wrangler wearing man you says beautiful & darlin' everytime he sees you, and will do anything to get your attention or will do a random dance on the porch and kiss you in the rain...then this is the book you'll wanna read!!
This was such a good cowboy; small town romance! It was a sort of slow burn, but the spice was wanting but minimal once that fire ignited.
Again, this was an amazing book, and I do 100% recommend this for your tbr list!!

If your looking for a fallish, sweet cowboy romance with a curvy FMC with a love for animals! Ryker was a hot cowboy with a heart of gold. He is such a gentleman and falls first. This was my first cowboy romance and I loved all the fuzzy feels it gave me! I related to Fallon so much and I love her sass! The side characters in this story were interesting and I would love more of Elle and Jake! Fallon's Dog and Ryker's Fox was an adorable addition to this story! Go pick up this book and prepare to fall in love with Ryker!

What I liked the most about this book was how two individuals meet at an unexpected time especially when someone goes through a heart break. It’s crazy to think that you can find love again in another town where this man is the most patient and kindest man that can exist. He makes it his thing to make Fallon fall in love with him and the way he tried, I thought was adorable.

This book was a cozy small town romance that will leave you swooning and rooting for the romance at hand.

I absolutely loved this story. Devoured it in a short time frame. Fallon and Ryker were just meant to be. I feel the pain from the drama Fallen had to endure, but it was a super sweet and a little spicy, but the message behind it made me think and want to adopt more dogs, lol.

Her running an animal rescue was the perfect icing on the pumpkin muffin and a reminder to take care of our furry little friends, support rescue shelters and adopt. Not to.mention Ryker says the right thing as in as many rescue animals as you bring home Fallen. (I know I misspelled her name, sorry about that)

L. Clara has done it again with another amazing book! This is such a cute little story for fall. A book that started heavy with the loss of love and what she thought her future held, Fallon finds love again with the right man, who accepts her for who she is and for her love of animals (and her pumpkin coffee). I loved the plot, the spice, and the character development. I didn't want the story to end. Bravo on another amazing book!

I absolutely loved this book it was a cute read! As someone who has struggled with my weight all my life and relate to animals better than people I really related to Fallon. Ryker was a great mmc although had some clueless moments that led to some miscommunication. Elle and Jake were great friends and loved their personalities. I also appreciated how much focus was put on the animals and the struggles shelters go through with overcrowding and trying to find homes. I loved this little surprise book from L Clara and so happy she decided to write it! I really enjoy all of her work and the fun banter/characters we get in each book! Definitely recommend reading this book and the others in her collection!

Such an amazing cute read. I just love small town romance especially in the fall with pumpkin spiced coffee and lattes. Smoking hot farmer Ryker who of course owns a pumpkin farm. Fallon our sweet kind amazing animal lover falls in love with this cute small town. Loving Ryker and Fallon’s story. Makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside. L. Clara is an amazing author. This is such a heartwarming story! Fallon decides to leave town after a bad breakup. She got a great job offer, and she and her dog took off. The first time she meets Ryker, she is not impressed. He realizes that he is gonna have to work for her attention. Ryker is handsome, and his call for his "pet" fox is adorable! I loved this story and definitely recommend it!

Very blockbuster movie material book. It gets a bit overly sweet at some point but it is a great example of small town romances if that is what you are looking for!

Life got in the way of me reading this but I’m so glad I finally was able to. This book was so good. It got me right in my feels. The pain both MCs felt over a misunderstanding felt so real. I absolutely loved this and hope the author changes her mind and decides to make it a series. Even just a duet. I need more.
