That wasn't the life Briana was destined to have. She had nothing but bad biker boys in her future.
She was being hunted by several motorcycle clubs for her talent, but only one laid claim to her. The Shifter Legends.
Grant Dixon, Vice President of the Devils Hunters Motorcycle Club was a Shifter Legend Original, and it was his job to make sure that the Motorcycle club acquired only the most powerful Shifters. And that meant Briana, even if he had to mate her to do it.
She threw herself down on the bunk and squeezed her eyes shut. There was nothing she could do, no one she could turn to. She was a Mountain Lion Shape Shifter. Briana may not have asked for it, but it was a fact that she could not deny.
I enjoyed the epilogue. It was just enough to intrigue my interest. 5 stars
Book one had a lot more substance and a crazy amount of physical touch and sexual interaction. The characters and their interactions were well blended within the storyline. At times is was a tad too predictable. All in all it was a good read. 4 stars
Book two was a little over done. The "Alpha" was constantly insecure and second guessing himself, and continuously accused his mate of keeping things from him. He was the one withholding information and hiding parts of himself. The addition of the witch coven was interesting, but the body snatching "he-witch" was odd. Male witches are called warlocks not "he-witches". The story made it seem like he was crazy powerful. So it was hard to believe when the coven never "felt" his presence. If he was that strong he should have a least been sensed by the head witch. The rest of the story was good. The truth behind Briana's true self coming to light is getting very interesting. 3 stars
So I'm averaging it to a 4 star total for all three installments put together.
I do not normally read paranormal, but I am trying to feel out other genre. I feel that this was a good prequel as it did give a bit of a set up for the coming series. Not everything was explained clearly (type of shifter was not fully explained), but meeting Grant and ending with him watching Brianna from the shadows has me wanting to read the next book.
I read the first short story that went with this book .. the first short story is better .. I am not saying this is a bad read it just wasn't something that I didn't care for .. I would say this is more shifter book then a MC book ...
