"A gameplay expansion and setting book. Learn about the true origins of three of the modern covenants and witness the spectacle of ancient betrayal and devastation. Play the chronicle from multiple perspectives, as heroes of the doomed Camarilla or instigators of the final collapse."
While the new World of Darkness doesn't hold the same affinity with me as the old one used to do, it is however another matter when a setting of Ancient Rome gets introduced. The Greco-Roman period in history has this mystical atmosphere perfect for a game of Vampire. This 'Fall of the Camarilla' is a chronicle spanning several decades leading up to the fall of Rome and with it the fall of the Kindred ruling Rome. While a bit more branched out than the typical railroad scenarios I tend to discover in scenario books, the freeform for players to enjoy this thoroughly is still left up to the Storyteller when modifying the scenarios to match the tastes of his players.
A chronicle book to accompany the setting book - not only can you role play vampires in the waning days of the Roman Empire, but you can also play the chronicle of stories leading to the fall of the vampiric society of ancient Rome, the "Camarilla." Really cool!
