I’ve been in and out of prison for the last twenty years. More in than out, but it’s worth it. The shit I’ve done to keep getting me sent back here is all for a good cause—taking care of my family.

I had to. I may not have been a man yet when my father was taken out, but I still had to step up and be man of the house. Everything I’ve done, I’ve done to take care of the ones he couldn’t. My mother, two sisters, and my sweet little baby brother.

And fuck if I haven’t done right by them. Given them a good life. A life that I’ve kept myself the fuck out of, so they can stay happy and sheltered from everything that’s ugly in this world.

I’ve taken all the hits myself so they’d never have to… but now someone’s fucked with my baby brother.

He’s been framed him for a crime that he didn’t commit.

When he ends up here, at Pengrass Penitentiary, an innocent little angel thrown in with a few thousand violent criminals who will eat him up and spit him back out bloody if I don’t find a way to protect him, I know I can’t let that happen. I’ll do whatever it takes, fucking anything, to keep my baby brother safe.

Even if that means making him mine.

Damn… this was hot 🔥 didn’t even realize I was close to the end until I got to the end. Was totally engrossed in this filthy story, and I can say I totally wanted more. I always wonder how the next story is going to exceeded the last...but damn, she always does it!!! Every story becomes my new favorite. I loved Duke and Ryder. Their relationship and how it slowly built up. I liked seeing Ryder get more....demanding and pushy with Duke. I hope we get more of them like we did with Bane and Ethan. hint hint :)

So this is good like actually good, I thought it just another silly smut but I enjoyed it much more. This is exactly my ideal brocest with protective big brother and needy little brother I fantasized about but never find a story that is totally similar.

But then I understand, because Duke does put me on my knees, right in front of his dick, but instead of taking it out and shoving it down my throat, he… he fakes it. Shoves his jumpsuit down from his waist to his thighs and acts like he’s pulling his cock out through the slit in the boring white briefs we’re all given, all while gripping my head and forcing it against his crotch, but he doesn’t.
He doesn’t take it out.
He just acts like he is, putting on a show exactly the way Officer Harding told him to, but a fake one, complete with dirty words and imitation moans and sexy, smooth hip thrusts that are sure to sell it with anyone.

Read the author trigger warning, or, just skip a few parts at the beginning that you feel uncomfortable to finish reading, I promise you will be able to understand the rest of the book just fine.

Since this is incest, I like that the MCs have a true happy ending and not just end the story with no serious future plan on how could they still be with each other once they got out of the forced proximity situation. They both got out of prison, have a place of their own and live together happily forever after.

This was a nice taboo erotica about a man that's been in prison for a while and meets his younger brother, sent there after being framed. The older brother sees no other way to protect his baby brother besides making it known he's his, and after some denial he'll realize the desire he's starting to feel isn't one sided.

It was a hot ride, I'm a sucker for dynamics where one of both MCs aren't sure about giving a step forward because it's forbidden, the "we can't, we can" push and pull. This delivered a great premise with a lot of possessiveness and neediness coming from each MC respectively.

The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was part of the writting style, some of it was cheesy at times, and I don't like when too many exclamations are used in text when it isn't a dialogue.

Fortunately, the ending felt satisfying. I wasn't sure about how it'll go, but it was wrapped up nicely, plus the build up to the brothers going until the end during sex was well done.

You know it is going to be a good read when the author has me LMAO while reading the about this book! I love a good prison/ bad boy story, so I jumped right into reading this! It is a bit longer than Becca's typical books which was a nice surprise! This book is all about two brothers - one "bad boy" Duke who spends about 75% of his life since he was 12 in prison - apparently doing things to make sure this mom, sisters and baby brother are taken care of. His sweet, little baby bro, Ryder, suddenly finds himself being sent to prison too - for something he didn't do! He is a sweet, innocent - earned the nickname Bambi - but his eyes are wide open when he goes to prison. Duke knows he has to figure out how to protect him from all these terrible men.

Finally ready to dive into the Inmates of Pengrass Penitentiary series, I’ve just finished book one which was amazing, and will definitely be reading the rest of the series as they come (4 just came out so up to there by the end of the weekend)

Reaper and Ryder are in a situation where in order to protect Ryder from being forced onto other inmates, reaper has to claim him. Reaper, being the older brother, is at first against this idea as he wants to protect Ryder even from himself. Ryder makes him see reason, and stars, when he gets his way. Love those two and hope to see more of them in the series in future.

2.5 This book combines two genres that I very much enjoy, taboo and prison romance. Now you think I would be in heaven right? Well while it was enjoyable I didn't totally love Ryder. Reaper was a better character. Ryder was too doe eyed and naive for my liking. Yes, that was supposed to be his characters vibe, hell they even name him Bambi. It was just a little over the top for my liking. I would have liked more interactions between our ML's.

From his behavior and treatment by others, I kept picturing Ryder as a very young boy despite the book saying he is 22.
Ryder and Duke calling each other 'Reaper' and 'bitch' even when alone made it too easy to forget they are brothers.
