An absolutely perfect mystery to read on the eve of a very tense election in the US. I finished the first book last week and couldn’t wait to read the second. Now I can’t wait for the third.

I have traveled to Germany but have never been in Hamburg, Bremen or the shores of the North Sea. I feel a connection to the characters Ms. Hinrichs has created and enjoy spending time with them. It’s like traveling without leaving home.

I recommend these books without reservation. I hope the author continues to write.
