My name is Bain Adams, and I struggle with these thoughts every day. I’ve been through hell and back, somehow surviving the unimaginable. i actually DNF'd this one at 39%. i couldn't get into it. The h has a sex scene with OM at the beginning of the book. That didn't bother me, but she has had a few dreams or remembering of sex with her dead fiancé and i don't want to read that since she loved him and he is not the H. the H is abusing pills because of a loss he suffered and they both are too depressing for me. Also- the H morphed into Christian Grey and told the h to wear a dress and no panties to dinner. he brought her to orgasm at the table and later spanked her with a spoon during sex in the kitchen. these things could be hot, but not from this 22 year old guy that really didn't seem like a Dom until that stuff got thrown in. it's too bad there wasn't better continuity to the story instead of feeling like all the latest trends in romance were all thrown in.

“Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow”~ Albert Einstein
I loved this story. I loved the characters. Yet I am sitting here staring at my screen going how can I put into words how I felt about this book and these characters…….
Bain & Arion
Bain is nothing but a shell of a man. He lost his sister 6 months ago when she took her own life. Although Bain does not believe that she took her own life. He misses her every single day and he struggles every single day just to make it to the next one all the while self medicating himself. He gives up his future and returns home to try to get through his sister’s death.
Arion had it all a fiancé, a future to look forward to and the in a heartbeat her life changed forever. While deployed her fiancé disappeared. He never came home. Left with the thoughts that he is dead Arion struggles every day with pain and agony in her soul for the loss of her fiancé.
Upon their first meeting something draws these two to each other. Bain likes Arion smart mouth, her looks and her fiery side. Although Arion does not want a relationship there is something about Bain and she cannot get him out of her head. She agrees to a friends with benefits type deal with Bain.
“I love how the simple things with him distract me from the reality and the pain of what I’ve gone through.”
As they get to know each other, they help each other by talking about their pasts and deal with the difficulties together. It is not an easy road for these two. The one thing they have no problem with is the sex…. It is hot, it is mind blowing…..
Can these two repair each other and move forward in their lives? You will have to read the book to find out. I will not spoil one thing about this book for anyone. YOU truly need to go into it not knowing what is going to happen.

I've just finished this now and my mind is still reeling over that mother bugga cliff hanger!! Gods and the next installment isn't out until Next Year GAH!!

So both characters Bain and Arion have both lost someone very dear to them and both have found not so great ways to see them through their days of darkness, finding each other helps in some way to ease their pain and move into the light together..
Bain pops pills to help him get through the days and Arion uses sex..
If I can feed my need for sex and keep my emotions out of it by doing so, then this is the best I'll ever have ~ No attachments, No Staying Over night ~(RULES) - ARION

So unlike anything we’ve read from LK Collins before, this book is full of mystery and intrigue, along with the elements that we have come to expect from her works…love, passion, tenderness, and those tear jerking moments.
Bain and Arion have both been dealt a shitty hand in life. They have lost someone extremely special to them and have been overcome with grief.
Bain has put his life on hold, drowning himself in bad decision after bad decision, not knowing how to cope with the loss of his twin sister, Kelsey. The mystery surrounding her disappearance, doubts regarding exactly what happened to her, and not believing the suicide note they found, have torn his family apart.
Arion has been jumping from bed to bed, never spending the night or committing to a relationship, since she lost her fiancé, Nate. Emotionally unavailable, she hasn’t been willing to give herself to anyone, for fear of losing someone again.
When Bain and Arion meet, things change completely for both of them. They find themselves looking forward to “next time” and each begins to be consumed with thoughts of the other. Rules are set and they agree to a “no feelings” relationship. Boy, are they in for a rude awakening!
Bain and Arion have such a passionate relationship. It is evident from the start that keeping emotions out is going to be impossible. Bain is such a sweetheart and Arion is a smartass. They complement each other so well. Even though Bain is tender and very attentive towards her, he is also strong-willed and knows how and when to bring out his dominant side. This is definitely something Arion needs…and craves. I love the way they play off each other. Their intimate moments are extremely intense and full of chemistry and passion. They both know which buttons to push to ignite the other.
Both Bain and Arion help each other change their outlook on life and anyone can see how much these two belong together. Throughout the story, they are there for each other, helping with the emotional turmoil each is facing due to their loss and other personal issues.
Every Soul will take you on an emotional ride, giving you twists and turns into passion, happiness, sadness, loneliness, and some extremely HOT moments where your panties and e-Reader will catch on fire.
LK has given us a wonderful start to a very different new series…a series that will make you desperate to have the next book in your hand as soon as you’re done with this one. That cliffhanger is a doozy and will definitely have you on the verge of throwing your e-Reader across the room. I can’t wait to continue this journey with Bain and Arion, experiencing their emotions and seeing what’s in store for their love story.

Bain and Arion have compelling stories. They both have traumatic pasts and together they will get thru them. I LOVE this book! I'm going to try to do a review without spoilers.
Bain lost his sister but doesn't believe it was suicide as he and his parents were told. He has a hard time losing his sister and has gone home to try to come to terms.
Arion lost her fiancé from the war. She vows to never get close to another. She's lost too many people in her life and she's built a wall up.
Meeting at a bar they have a shall we say memorable beginning to their friendship. Not thinking she'd ever see him again, Bain goes to her place of employment and shocks her.
Bain and Arion build a friends with benefits no string attach relationship. They tell each other more than they have shared with others. In a way, they are each other's therapy.
Bain finally,thanks to Arion, tries too see his chances in the NBA. Arion is supportive but how supportive will she be?
There's so much that happens and not giving too much away you will get answers and then the cliffhanger like no other!
I will say you will not be disappointed in this book. It really is great and emotional. You don't want to pass this book up!

Let's take a moment to admire it, shall we...
Okay, let's move on!
I'm not going to get all into the plot of the story because that will just ruin it for you, and if you want to know what the story is about then just read the synopsis!
What I will say about this story is that I really enjoyed it! It's told it 3 points of views, Bain, Arion, and Kinsey's (Bain's sister). I found Kinsey's POV unique because they are short chapters that gives us a glimpse of what led up to her death.
Before I forget, here's my casting for Arion and sexy Bain...drool!
Why didn't I give it 5 stars, because of the cliffhanger ending! It's not that I don't like cliffhangers, I just feel like the author tricked me into that ending. Let me explain, the author started to leave hints that the ending could go that route, but then I was made to believe that it couldn't happen because of X Y and Z! Well then I'm going to believe the authors facts and look forward to what I think the ending is going to be. So as you can see when I get to the cliffhanger I'm like "oh hell nooooo" the author tricked me and that's bull shit!
So now I'm going to go with my own ending in my head and call it good enough! Other then that, I really enjoyed the story!

10+ stars! Oh do we have a winner here folks!! For fans of HERE WITH ME (The Archer Brothers) THIS IS FOR you!! I'm so happy to stumble across this, I've been dying waiting for Choose Me 2nd of The Archer Brothers which is to be released April 1st, what a read to hold me over, damn it's good. GOOD GOD, BAIN~my Lord, I see why Arion gives so many BJ's. I'd open my mouth and roll out the red carpet all the time as well!!

I'm not sure what to say without giving up the whole book. But let me tell you I LOVE IT!! I love all of Lk books but this is my new favorite!!
Bain is the new sexy alpha male. He lost someone so dear to him that he didn't know how to cope w it but drown himself in drugs. Giving up a life long dream to in the process.
Arion wasn't any better in her life. She lost the love of her life.. And the only way she coped was to have sex. No commitments just enough to release. She has rules.
When these two met it was like instant connection. How they first met is pretty unethical but yet sexy as heck!! Hey who I'm I to judge. Lol their story isn't just about them . There's also a mystery to be solved on both behalf a. Gotta read to find out and it's good. I laughed I cried I drooled I smiled im happy :)
Love lost demons love sex dominant mystery pretty much sums it up :)
FYI: there is a cliffhanger or more like NO WAY F-ing WAY!! You might want to throw your kindle( well I did anyways lol well worth it)

Two things um...yummy cover *winks* and two WTF Mindeff of a damn cliffhanger wasn't expecting that. All of LK's other books had no cliffhangers so I'm thinking a stand alone nope ladies a MINDEFF OF A CLIFFHANGER!! Bain I loved him he has this understanding way about him, "whoa, don't get ahead of yourself, girl. Who said anything about a relationship? You act like that's what I want." His reasonings are pretty basic, "because I would eff you every which way in my car." These two together are such passionate people, "he nods his head on my chest, and I gently rake my fingernails up and down his back. His skin, so soft and warm. My touch causes his d*** to harden again inside of me. "You're an animal," I tease him." I loved this book!

Damn cliffhanger! But, it doesn't matter because this book was awesome! And, that cover is just delicious! Right? The characters, the story, and the ending were all just that good! I really didn't mind the cliffhanger that much because it really was perfect! I just hope that I don't have to wait forever for part 2 to be released....
Both main characters had suffered tremendously. They really didn't want to take a chance on love right now knowing that their hearts could be broken yet again. But, you know when you meet THAT person? The person who could change your life? The one who could give it purpose again? The one that could fill that vacant whole in your heart with hope that " yes" you can possibly love once more? That's what Arion and Bain do for each other. And, it's done with patience and understanding. And, the intimacy is just off-the-charts HOT! It built a relationship from a friendship with benefits arrangement to finally a deeper connection as the story progresses.
You don't want to pass this one up! So looking forward to the continuation of Arion and Bain's love story.....

This book is completely different to LK's other series but is still absolutely brilliant. It has the HOT scenes that she is good at writing as well as covering all possible emotions having me completely hooked!
Bain and Arion have both lost someone important to them and are both coping in their own way. Bain has bowed out of a possible place to play in the NBA, feeling lost since losing his twin sister. Not believing she died how the investigators say she did and coping with a mum who has turned to drink since.
Arion is jumping from bed to bed, not wanting to stay the night or creating any sort of emotional attachment since losing her fiance Nate.
This is until they meet each other. They seem to connect immediately, if not by maybe a slight unorthodox way lol, but try very hard not to get emotionally attached to each other, which is never going to work!
Bain and Arion grow closer together, they are there for each other through each other's struggles, they are there to support each other, no matter what their original plan was.
As the story progresses they both learn to trust each other more, more information is found out regarding Bain's sister's death and they grow closer, close enough to be able to tell each other exactly how they feel.
The book had a lot of emotion in, a lot of HOT scenes and a great story! BUT i will warn you, the epilogue, has a huge cliffhanger!! I totally didn't see it coming and had a complete WTF moment!! Because of this I will be stalking LK until the next book!! LOL

I loved this book! This book opened with a bang, allowing you to feel the emotion pouring out of the pages. It is also sets up a perfect beginning to this book. This was beautifully written and totally took me by surprise considering this is the first book I have ever read by this author. This was an emotional read that had me gripping the seat wanting to know what was going to happen next. This book was full of twists and turns. Whatever you think you know, throw it out the window as this book is going to rock your world!
This is Bain and Arion's story. Both are living by the moment. Both are grieving for someone they lost. Both use addiction to cope and numb the pain. They have the same rules... no attachments or emotions. But when these two cross paths. they will find that they will have a connection they can't deny no matter how much they want too. Oh Boy!!!! This was a super fantastic story. I loved it so very much and wish I could give it more than 5 ⭐️'s. Bain! Bain!Bain! This poor sexy as sin man has lived through something very horrific. His family is falling apart and he's not far behind. He's given up his dreams and future and self medicating just to get by. Then Ms Arion comes into the picture. She too has lived through something very traumatic and is coping her own way. By sleeping around but never a repeat performance. That is until she meets Bain. Watching their story unfold was powerful. The way they need each other and can't get by without one another. Makes you feel like they were meant to go through these tragic events so they could meet their true loves. I loved the way the story was written. We get Bains sister story through her own thoughts as her tragedy unfolds. And then there's that jaw dropping moment at the end that leaves you saying WHAT???????????????

I knew it! I knew it! I freaking knew that would happen. Call it intuition or whatever you must but I so knew that teas going to happen and I'm screaming no, no,no!!!!! That cannot happen when everything has come together, when all things are exactly where I ant them and need them to be this cannot possibly happen. Although Bain and Arion both have lost tremendously I could handle all of that but this I cannot take I just can't so it. I freaking love Bain. There isn't a flaw about him I have found yet well maybe in the beginning I felt he was dealing with everything just wrong but he fixed that quickly so no there isn't a flaw to be found. Everything was perfect with Bain and Arion. Their lives were coming together and them BAM! Now I have no clue what is about to happen only I am sure my heart is going too be torn into pieces. As bad as I dread reading the next I know I am going to have to suffer the pain I know it coming and forge in to the next book.

Oh my gosh a freaking awesome book the cliffhanger I just didn't expect. I had my happy ever after and then BAM it all went to hell.
As soon as I finished the book I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. But then I thought how I wish my husband would have come back. My feelings are all over the place.I just wanted to scream "No way!". I read this somewhere: "When you lose the one person who grounds your existence, your whole world changes." This I know from experience.
What the perfect love story. After the tragedies in their lives Bain and Arion hook up and take you on their journey of love, mystery, hurt. And all kinds of emotions. I can't imagine the pain Bain went thru....i have a twin sister. I can't imagine the choice Arion will have to make......I lost my husband and can't wait to read the next!!!

I LOOOOOVED IT!!!
I have yet to read a L.K. Collins book I haven't loved and this one definitely did NOT disappoint!
From the beginning I was sucked in by Bain and Arion. I couldn't read it fast enough or get enough of the characters. It takes you on one wild ride with a few surprises along the way. Without giving anything away all I will say is, I hope this isn't a stand alone novel because I would love some more Bain & Arion.

Sometimes one lost soul can help heal two lost souls. For Brian and Arion, this is what they need. Both dealing with loss and pain, both turning to something to hide from their pain and not really dealing with it. This is very well written and you will feel for the characters. You will feel love, loss, pain, hurt, and healing. I will warn you, it is a cliff hanger! Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the next book! Great job! ~chell

Both alike in so many ways.
I thought it was gonna be a tearry read for me but it was so much more than the summary of the book revealed.
Holy sizzlness, their sex scenes were off the chart erotic
This has a well developed, easy flowing story line and I can't wait to see what happens in the Every Heart.

This is LK Collins BEST WORK to date! EVERY SOUL takes us on a beautiful and erotic journey of love, loss, hope, and second chances. Bain and Arion are two characters that will stay with me for a very long time. My heart hurt for them, and you can’t help but feel for these wonderful, broken characters. The strength of these two just blew my mind. What they both went through would crumble a human being. The support and love that they brought to one another, warmed my soul and brought a smile to my face. Second chances are hard, but together, and the amount of healing they provided from one another, they can now start over with a stronger foundation for their love.
What would you do if you suffered an incredibly devastating loss, and all of your hopes, dreams, and passions drifted away? What happens when the grief is so overwhelming, you feel like you have no one to turn to and you are driven to make very bad decisions, because you no longer care? Bain and Arion have both lost loved ones. The losses have left them empty and emotionally drained. In EVERY SOUL, we follow them through their grief. We follow them, as they try to live half a life, as they try to find some way out of the darkness. Bain uses his pills and Arion uses sex to cope. When they finally find each other, it was supposed to be just temporary to ease the pain, just for a little while. When one time turns into two, and two times turns into three, and so on; they find themselves growing more and more attracted to each other. When they learn of each other’s loss, their relationship grows even stronger. They become a rock for one another, someone to lean on, and take away some of the pain. Even though you are rooting like hell for this couple, you ask yourself, how can two such broken souls heal one another? Not only are you struggling with losing that special someone, but now you bring on the struggles of relationships. It’s difficult, and my heart constantly ached with every flashback that occurred. A great turning point happens, when Bain no longer needs his pills because this woman, Arion, being with her, gives him the same kind of high.
I can’t tell you how many times I had to grab the tissues during this read. What a solid, near perfection of a heart wrenching, but absolutely beautiful love story. EVERY SOUL will take you someplace dark, right along with the characters, but just know, together they find their way towards the light, and will take you right along with them. EVERY SOUL was a no-brainer for me to choose as a TOP PICK of 2014! I fell in love with LK Collins writing style in her previous series, and if anything, she kicked it up a notch with this current release. It is practically everything you would want in an Erotic Romance. It’s extremely sexy, extremely emotional, and extremely well-written. It deals with situations that are sad but often relatable, and the characters just blew me away. If this is LK Collins first attempt at writing in this genre, well watch out world, we have a major player moving up the ranks fast!
Just as a side note…just when you think all is well with Bain and Arion’s HEA, think again…the Epilogue will kick your ass and leave you with your mouth hanging open. Even though the type of cliffhanger we are left with made me SCREAM…you can’t fault Ms. Collins for it. It’s actually quite genius once you calm down and think about it. I guarantee once you are finished, you will be counting down the days until Ms. Collins gives us an incredible sequel. Until then, I shall dream about Bain! Nighty night!

Where to even begin!!!?? OMG! What. A. Book!!!! Phenomenal! Fantastic! Amazing! A MUST read, for sure! Holy cow! I absolutely loved Every Soul! It’s compelling, addicting, suspenseful, emotional, angst-driven, and one heck of a ride! Oh, and did I mention hhhhhhhhhhot?? Because yes, be prepared for one STEAMY book. LK Collins knocked it out of the park with this one! I seriously could not put the book down. Really. I couldn’t. I should have since I had a TON of work to do, but I didn’t. I was hooked.
Bain lost his sister to what he and his family were told to be a suicide…and it practically destroyed them all. To say Bain wasn’t letting it go would be an understatement. He knew his sister, like really knew her, and things just didn’t sit well with him. He wanted answers, an explanation.
Arion’s fiancé was a Marine who was killed in action. That destroyed her, it broke her. So she vowed to not let anyone else get close in hopes of not going through that hell ever again. She kept everyone at arm’s length and had a few rules where men were concerned. Until Bain.
Upon their…ahem…meeting, you could tell things were different for them. Arion tried her hardest to keep her rules intact, and Bain tried respecting them, but fate just had other plans. They fought (more Arion than Bain) their feelings for each other, trying to stick to the whole “friends with benefits” crap, but yeah….that was a no-go. You see, the main reason why Bain and Arion connected on such a deeper level was the fact that they both understood what the other one had gone through. They had felt the same amount of pain and heartbreak. So, without knowing it, they helped each other heal…slowly, but surely. Just as they both began to heal, their walls began to crumble. They loved and supported each other without question or hesitation and as a reader, I felt it. And I absolutely LOVED IT.
This was the type of book that had me on the edge of my seat with the turn of every page. I knew there was more to the story line and I was DYING to figure everything out. I kept coming up with theories and scenarios and yet, LK Collins kept impressing me each and every time. I loved the build-up and the suspense! Gosh!!! It was truly incredible! My kind of book.
Now….the ending. Say whaaaaaaaaaaat?! Oh yeah… CLIFFHANGER ALERT. My exact words while reading were “Oh shiiiit! No fucking way!” Yep. To say I had a HARD time falling asleep doesn’t even begin to explain it. I was – still am – on a high from that book. It was such a roller coaster of emotions from the very beginning and then THAT ENDING??? Yeah. I was WIDE AWAKE going through all the details in my mind….thinking of how things could possibly unfold in book two! Now, I’m not mad at LK Collins because of that ending. I am, HOWEVER, in DESPERATE need of book two. I need more Bain and Arion. Need it. Seriously. Now.
Well anyway, I HIGHLY recommend you read this book. It’s truly PHENOMENAL and I simply cannot stress that enough. FIVE FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC stars!

CLIFFHANGER.
This is Arion and Baine's story.
What is loss? Loss can be defined in many different ways, but for Arion it was losing the love of her life after he went to war. He never came back, he promised he would. This has changed her life to the point she doesn't want to love ever again. Everyone she loves she loses. Everyday she lives with losing Nate. Saying that Arion just exists is an understatement. She doesn't let anyone in. That is until she meets Baine. It starts off the same, but it changes and she needs to figure out if she is ready to finally let Nate go or continue to live a non existent life.
Baine knows what loss is. He understands it and feels it everyday too. Baine lost his sister. His twin. His best friend. He is a shadow to who he used to be and has put his whole life on hold to mourn her. He doesn't think he will ever be the same or that he will ever want to do any of the things that he used to do. His whole family has changed and has been affected by this loss. That is when he meets Arion, she has the same pain in her eyes, and he feels an instant connection to her. He knows he shouldn't feel this way about her, she has made it clear that there will be nothing but sex between them, but he can't help but crave the feelings that he has when he is with her. Can he show her what life can be like together without having her run? Can he finally accept his new life, the one without his sister in it?
This story was amazing and kept me captivated wanting to know what was happening at every turn of the page. This story just blew me away once I turned the last page. So much that, I was gifted this book for an honest review and it was due the day that I finished it. I couldn't do it. I was in shock. I sat there in total udder confusion, sadness and just plain damn. I tried to leave the review and the words just wouldn't come out.. Yeah it is that kind of book. To me it is the kind of book that the book you read after this one could never compare and I ended up putting it down and saying I miss Arion and Baine. It finally wore off (a little) and now I am trying to give you some good reasons to read this book without giving anything away.
This is a CLIFFHANGER!!! So if you don't like cliffhangers then you might want to wait for book two. All i can say is LK you need to write faster. I am sure you know the stuff that is going to happen to these two in your head right now and I want to know. I. Cannot. Wait. for 2015 to find out! It just doesn't seem fair. In fact, it is not fair. This is a book that you don't want to miss .. It is a story about loss, and second chances and finally trying to live your life after losing everything that was your whole world. Love comes in many different shapes and sizes, a sister, a brother, a lover.
Join the journey of two people that have to learn to live without it and try again. A journey of pain but also of healing. Thank you LK for a wonderful book. To say I look forward to the next book is an understatement. You might be getting a message from me soon!!! That is all. :)
