Chrysanta Greenlee is a student at her town’s prestigious university, but she often bears the brunt of bullying from her teacher and a group of students.
Finding she couldn’t take it anymore, one day she runs out of school and to the dangerous forest. Many that go in never come out. Hearing a baby’s cries bounce off the nearby trees, she goes in to discover who would leave a child in such a place.
Through a series of events, she wakes up in another world with a talking dog, giant butterflies, and an octopus that wears hats, among the many citizens of Wildborne.
But not all is as whimsical as it seems. The Blackness, a mysterious force of nature that erases anyone caught in it, comes every night. Also, the handsome Mr. Hannity has unknown intentions that make Chrysanta uneasy.
What is expected does not always align with what Chrysanta knows to be the right thing to do. It is time to decide who she is before someone else decides for her.

The story premise is good

The editing is not good. It was difficult to read because of structural errors in the composition. The ending was very unsatisfying. With polish, this will be an excellent story.

An exciting adventure

My 12 year old and I loved it. Amazing characters trying to work their way through a magical and dangerous land. Full of surprises, hard to put down.
