Jesse #3

Carpe Diem

Rate this book
The third book of Jesse takes us along with Niki and Jesse to Italy. Jesse is back on his old motocross team, but the rivalry among the riders is fierce. Other team members are not happy about his return and determined to make life on the track difficult for Jesse. For Niki, things are looking much better. She is excited about being in Milan. Thanks to the connections from her design teacher at home, she now mingles with some the best designers and photographers in Europe and she accepts an offer to work as an assistant for an established local photographer. However, it doesn't take long before facts are misconstrued and misunderstandings occur. It all culminates in chaos when Jesse finds incriminating evidence that support his suspicion that things are not as they seem. All hell breaks loose and now, not only is Jesse's position on the team in danger, but also his relationship with Niki. Don't miss "Carpe Diem," the final book in the New York Times bestselling "Jesse" series.

I am a true romantic at heart and with a modern contemporary erotic twist to my romance novels, you had better fasten your seat belt, as the ride is always fun, exciting and fiery.
Living in Las Vegas, but a mid-westerner at heart, I find plenty of inspiration for my books in my own exciting life. I have always loved the arts and as a young girl, I took dance classes and spent the summers reading books from the local library. Fascinated with the written word and its power to guide the imagination, I started writing short stories and later took Creative Writing classes in college. I graduated from The University of Iowa with a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in Higher Education. I also have a Teaching Credential from Chapman University in Southern California.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the novel. You can email me directly at evecarterbooks@gmail.com and if you enjoyed the book, please share your excitement with other fans of women’s erotic romance. You can write a review by clicking here: Deceived Part 1 – New York

Well I am so disappointed in this third book of the series carpe Diem was nothing like the first two books the first two books were brilliant and I couldn't wait for the third to come out
Unfortunately my opinion of the third book was that it was terribly rushed and didn't take the story further on
I couldn't get on with Book like I did the other two it was all about Jesse and is motor cross career and nothing about is girlfriend furthering their career and due to that they grew further apart
When they realise they was falling apart they went back to America patched things up and got theyHEA it felt rushed and only rated it two stars

JUST SO SO

JUST SO SO

I was disappointed in the last story of the series, really all of the stories. Niki never redeemed herself throughout the entire series. She never was a strong enough character for Jesse. It was short on details once they got back together (but really who cares?). It's a shame that Jesse's character was wasted in this series

Jesse is so sexy! Jesse and Nikki are ment to be together. They have a connection that they can't deny. Nikki brings out the best in him and I was so sad when the story ended. I want more Jesse and Nikki. I couldn't put down this book or the other two. They are amazing stories and I highly recommend them!

Carpe Diem - Jesse 3

Jesse and Nikki are in Italy. Jesse for training and Nikki for fashion.
Nikki meets Gio a photographer that her teacher used to know. He was trying to help her with contacts in the industry. Things get messy with jealousy. Read this book see what happens.

I really enjoyed this series. Jesse was a bad boy turned good once he met the right woman. The love scenes were hot, but overall the story was very good and definitely worthy of a read.

Wow! Relationships have lots of ups and downs. and Jesse and Niki are no different. Jesse and his "fly off the handle" temper causes so many problems that I found it difficult to read. It broke my heart.
Niki has so many issues with her controlling father. Will he finally win? Will Niki be able to stand up for herself?
There is so much in this story. Relationships of all kinds take lots of hard work. Boyfriend/girlfriend, mother/son, father/daughter, nephew/uncle-dad. So many dynamics to this story but well written.

SWEET ENDINGS, NEW BEGINNINGS

This series was a delight to read. There were a lot of emotional, real life issues such as cancer, deceit, anger management. Through it all Niki stays strong and resolute in her goals and opinions. Jesse, on the other hand, reacts to some incidents in his usual manner....anger and violence.

I loved the characters in all 3 books but especially in this one. Careers are on the line, hearts are too, but things in life and romance novels tend to work out!

I saw a lot of bad reviews and was kind of nervous reading this because of it, but it really wasn't a bad book at all. Like some other reviews I do think it felt rushes. There weren't a lot of details about anything. Goodreads says it's 250 pages long, but it's not it's only 150 which is kind of disappointing since if it was longer it could have been much better. All in all it's a good book and doesn't have a bad ending.

From book one of this series I loved the passion Jesse and Niki shared, which continued throughout this book. I just felt the book was unfinished, massively due to the fact that I felt the book was rushed.

I like Eve Carters books but I do feel you don't get a lot of reading per book...however it was nice to see how things wrapped up, just wished it didn't wrap up quite so quick.

A nice ending to this series, though a little frustrating to read. I felt ss though it could all have been condensed down to a novella, a little bit too much miscommunication between the characters. On the other hand they are a youngish couple and these things do happen in real life. Overall enjoyed the series.

Great book, loved the ending!

Great book, loved the ending!

Jesse is a character that I fell in love with in the first book & he didn't disappoint! He was a bit of a bad boy turned romantic. It was a meaningful story full of true life scenarios. The twists & turns kept it exciting. If you are looking for a few great books........This series is it!

Loved it. Nikki and Jesse goes to Milan, Italy for motocross training and Nikki goes to study fashion. Nikki gives up everything to be with Jesse. Her father will no longer support her if she stays with Jesse. Nikki meets Gio a famous photographer in Italy that will show her the fashion networking. But Gio is handsome and very flirtatious. Loved it.

A good story and well written. This was a freebie that had two more books after. I ended up purchasing the remaining two books because I was so hooked on the story. A new author for me who I will read more books

Ok - won't go on to my re-read list. To say Jesse was a motor cross rider, more was said about him working his uncles bar. If I'm honest I was disappointed by the whole series. The basics were there but it just didn't deliver for me.
