This was incredible paranormal book I ever read having warlocks, witches,wolfs,and other paranormal characters I loved ,different relationships. At first I loved Talon and pope the most ,jet did grow on me I saw why he was the way he was in beginning which helped me understand him more I fell in love him as well.
Ash she a strong fmc I absolutely loved that part she didn't know or understand what was happening to her I was bit angry with her mother I won't say much on that .this is absolute must read
Zoey and Emily, Jacob relationship was just as beautiful as Ash and her men . This is why I love a why choose plus paranormal added to it

This was a good read for me I liked how they incorporated paranormal elements into it but it wasn’t to overpowering I loved how unhinged the fmc could be at times and I love how golden retriever like pope was. Jet was definitely a character that had to grow on you and talon was just a big loveable protector who challenged her and I loved how they dealt with everything and how all the men protected her no matter what she did . So many emotions happened as well with trauma,secrets and dealing with the present very emotional read. Highly recommend reading triggers before reading

While the premise lured me in - hello female Jekyll & Hyde. The writing is CRINGE.
When Talon (one of the MMC's) asks a barmaid to describe the mysterious woman who may have killed a client the night before - she describes her as having alabaster skin, glossy red hair..
Who talks like that when describing a potential suspect (or anyone) ??
Later on said alabaster skinned female walks into a crowded smex club & right away the MMC calls his bouncer & all he says is "bring her to me" .
Who ? In a crowded smex club I'm to believe that a bouncer knew which "her" ??
Cringe writing & I'm p*ssed that I spent $5.99 for this crap
Also Trigger Warnings are not accurate. No where did it mention complete exhibitionism & sex clubs scenes.. never would've spent money on this book had that been listed.

I’ve just recently become a fan of Genavie Castle. I just found her with the Pure Blood Duet and I absolutely loved those books so I excited as heck to read this one! I got a late start, because, you know…life happens, but once I started, I could not put it down!!! I thought there was no way she was going to top the Pure Blood Duet for me, but man was I wrong! The Seduction of Duality was outstanding! I adored the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde undertones, it was a brilliant idea for a story that I have not seen before! Of course, I am a huge fan of RH, so this was automatically a plus for me, but Genavie also writes paranormal which is also my kryptonite.
Aisling was such a complex character, I loved how she was written with such vibrancy! You could see both sides of her so clearly! Pope was just the cutest! He was with her from start and they were always going to be together! There relationship was so sweet! Talon was all in from day one! Fated Mates! He worshipped the ground she walked on! They were destined to be together! Jet, he was complicated. If it wasn’t for those little glimpses (YKWYK), I probably would have completely disliked him. But, the chemistry…🥵
The plot…just wow! I’m not going to go over what you read in the blurb, you can read that for yourself, and I’m not going to to ruin the story. YOU need to read this book. Like RIGHT NOW! Seriously…go get it, I’ll wait…just kidding! But, no…go get it, for real…you won’t regret it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really wanted to love The Seduction of Duality and found myself rooting for Ash, the main character, right from the beginning. A retelling of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the story explores a unique twist with a complex female protagonist in her early 30s who holds a PhD in chemistry and battles mysterious blackouts. The world the author crafted is intriguing, filled with witches, warlocks, shifters, and humans coexisting side by side, and there’s a “why choose” romance with three very different love interests.
While I enjoyed the author's style and creativity, I struggled A LOT with the multiple points of view. Revisiting the same event from different perspectives across several chapters slowed the pacing, making it hard to stay immersed in the plot. Ash also falls into the familiar trope of being a petite, irresistibly attractive woman, which felt a bit overdone for me personally.
I appreciate that the author addressed heavier themes, like trauma and suicidal thoughts, with sensitivity. For readers who may be concerned, checking in with the author for specific trigger warnings might be a good idea.
Though this one didn’t fully hook me, I can see why many readers have enjoyed it, and I’m eager to see what else this author has in store.

FMC had as much assertiveness and strength as a wet potato chip during a tornado.
The "relationship" between Jet and Ash was so very problematic and not at all "romantic." Every interaction, every lie told by either of them devalued the story and plot. Jet never redeemed himself, he didn't grovel and he sure as shit didn't allow Ash space to figure anything out.
Imo, there were also a lot of plot points never resolved or brushed past which was disappointing.
The author made a terrible editing decision by having every character explain what they were doing during certain points. For example, if we get Ash's POV from say noon to 2 pm, the POV will switch to Talon who then tells us what he was doing from noon to 2 pm. Then! We would also get another POV switch and they would tell us what they were doing from noon - 2 pm. It was such a waste. I wish I could say that it was rare it happened, but it was every 3 or 4 chapters.
Nicknames/terms of endearment for the FMC:
Ash, mate, angel, Red, baby, mistress, baby girl, little monster, my little slut, my precious little slut, and little love.

An absolutely brilliant read that’s a retelling of Jekyll and Hyde but feels fresh and wholly unique! With a wicked hot reverse harem, a paranormal element that one hundred percent feeds that need for dominating alpha males and all the mine that goes with it, it’s nothing short of an absolute pleasure to sink your teeth into from start to finish. It’s got humor, a little murder, found family, secrets, manipulation, an emotional intelligence and depth that elevate every aspect of the story, and is completely and totally captivating.
Just an incredible read! The characters are fabulous, it totally delivers in the damn that’s hot department, the paranormal elements are perfect in their combination of science and magic, and how it tackles the balance of light and dark Aisling has to face is genius. It has you relating to every character, makes you stop and think for a minute while at the same time triggering all the feels and sucks you right in to a story that is completely unforgettable.
Just an incredible read! The Seduction of Duality is spicy!
The relationship development between the four main characters is great. The three male main characters are as different as night and day: the golden retriever-type stalker, the primal wolf, and the part-time jerk (sorry, Jethro!).
The female main character is strong and intelligent, making her easy to relate to.
In my opinion, the story could have had more plot. At times, I felt that the story was more or less written just around the spicy scenes.
Some parts of the book felt a bit drawn out, as certain situations were described from different points of view, which made it harder for me to stay focused.
I really liked that the author made it easy to dive into the personalities of the main characters.

This was an amazing paranormal, why choose book. It has witches, warlocks, werewolves, and other paranormal beings and I LOVED every minute of this book.
I fell in love with Pope and Talon so fast and Jet took time to love but once I started understanding him more I fell in love with him too. Ash was such a strong FMC I ABSOLUTELY loved everything about her. I loved the part that Ash even didn’t know or totally understood what was happening to her and I was a bit mad at her mother but I won’t go into detail because I don’t want to give anything away.
I loved Zoey with her relationship with Emily and Jacob. But I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Ash and her relationship with her men the most. And THIS is why I love why choose and plus paranormal added to it. *chefs kiss*
This is a MUST READ!!!

This book has its hooks in you within the first few pages and absolutely holds you attention! Anytime I had to stop reading was a challenge because I just wanted to know what was going to happen next!!
I highly recommend this for fans of Why choose novels, mystical beings, science, a little bit or well a lot a bit of the darker side of the tracks, and those who enjoy retellings!!

OMG this was a great story. It was a page turner and the suspense was intense and a thriller. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. This was the dark side of the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde twist! Of this potion and experiment on one person who turns into a monster. She was in love with all three guy until he caught her eye that day and she don't know what she is going to do in this moment. It was mind blowing of danger, lies, pain, death in this moment. Will she be caught by the people in the town.

I was super interested in how Castle was going to re-tell Dr. Jakyl and Mr. Hyde and she did not disappoint! This book was great!
This was a darker paranormal romance why choose! The spice in this book was SO GOOD! Each man had his own personality and they were so different! Each relationship development was perfect in my opinion.
The plot was super interesting! The unique twists kept me reading and pulled into the story. There is also a decent amount of mental health representation woven into the story.
This is one of my favorite (and one of the hottest) why-choose romances I have read. Its must read if why choose if your style!

This book had me hooked from the start of reading it. The story as a whole was enthralling and captivating.
It made me lose track of the time as I couldn’t stop reading it. Following the story of Aisling was an amazing one, and her struggles seem so deeply rooted in reality even with it being a fantasy novel. Though she still finds ways to enjoy the world around her at the end of it all.
Pope is such a lovable character from the moment you first meet him. He’s a ball of light in the world despite his own struggles. Both Aisling and Pope show even while struggling with your inner self you can find joy in things, and that you need to remember that there are people that love and care about you. Even in your darkest moments the people that truly care about you will stick around.
Jethro is such a genuine soul even though he struggles to show it. It’s a tough exterior that was built to protect himself and others from him, which is something many people actually do. But they need to learn they can actually let themselves just be themselves around other people.
Talon is just an overall protective of those he cares about. Even if he seems just like a business savvy guy at the start, deep down he is just a lovable little puppy dog who is willing to do anything and everything to protect those he loves. Which is admirable in many ways.
These characters spoke to me and resonated with me on so many levels. Top that off with an amazing story line, and it made for a truly amazing book.

This book had me hooked from the start of reading it. The story as a whole was enthralling and captivating.
It made me lose track of the time as I couldn’t stop reading it. Following the story of Aisling was an amazing one, and her struggles seem so deeply rooted in reality even with it being a fantasy novel. Though she still finds ways to enjoy the world around her at the end of it all.
Pope is such a lovable character from the moment you first meet him. He’s a ball of light in the world despite his own struggles. Both Aisling and Pope show even while struggling with your inner self you can find joy in things, and that you need to remember that there are people that love and care about you. Even in your darkest moments the people that truly care about you will stick around.

I love me a “why choose” romance with a splash of fantasy! The story line is reminiscent of dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but with a female as the main character. I enjoyed the world building and felt like I could myself in their realm. The character chemistry is top notch, and it comes out to play (a lot). There are some darker themes within the book, but the are an important element to the story overall. I enjoyed this book a lot and I am looking forward to more from this author.

This is a late arc review but its here!
This sounded really good and it made me want to read it. I usually don't get into fantasy all that much but i devoured this! I enjoyed it more than i imagined. It had its darker parts and the unaliving but also all the spice too!
I enjoyed not knowing what was going to happen. I loved the why choose side of this aswell, 3 men 1 woman and it made me smile how much they loved and protected her no matter what.

This was the first book I've read by Genavie Castle, and it was soo good!!! I can't wait to read others and for the next in the Midway Mystics Collection to come out! I absolutely loved the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde twist! The flow of the storyline was great and kept me wanting to keep reading, it was hard to put down at times.

This was such a unique take on Jekyll and Hyde! I loved the FMC, and how she was struggling with her inner darkness. The different men in her life and their perspective of everything that takes place was also so good. I absolutely loved the paranormal aspect of it, I love paranormal books. Overall, this was such a unique and addictive read!

Some of the family related issues are worked out a bit too quick and easy - compared to how I personally would feel in a situation like that.
As a crime lover I liked the parallel mystery.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. This book had it all; a great story, drama, mystery, thrills, and spice. The characters were easy to love, and I can't wait to see what comes next!

This book is amazing, I didn’t want to put it down. Genavie did such an amazing job and I can’t wait for more.
The POVs of all the main characters was a game changer and it was like I could actually see and feel exactly what was on the page.
The only problem I had was that I had family in town and I wasn’t able to just sit and read in peace.

Oh I loved this book. The 🌶️ was 🥵🥵. The why choose was 🥵 as well. I loved the supernatural mix with human world. The authors take on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was refreshing and I loved the twist that it was a woman instead of a man, I was hooked from the beginning.

I didn’t know I was missing it but a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde supernatural, why-choose retelling was just what I needed for the spooky season! This story is full of witches, warlocks, and shifters and characters that are so beautifully written you cannot help but keep reading and reading until you get to the end. Aisling, the FMC, is fighting a battle of light versus dark within herself and the MMCs each bring something to this battle as they are all fighting battles of their own that are pivotal to helping Aisling. There are so many aspects to this book that put it a step above your normal dark romance and I thoroughly enjoy it and can’t wait for more from Genavie.
