Priyadarshan Soman Nair is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter. In a career spanning almost three decades, Priyadarshan has directed over 80 films in several Indian languages including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Though he began his career in Malayalam cinema in 1984, Priyadarshan has been mainly active in Hindi cinema for 2001-2010.

This is a book about the memoirs of Priyadarsan, a film director from Kerala. He has won multiple national and state awards, and his comic movies are loved by many people and are considered to have a lot of repeat value.

Off late, Priyadarsan is facing a lot of criticism due to the setbacks in his personal life and the repeated failures and lack of political correctness in his movies.

He is one of the first Pan-Indian Directors who was successful wherever he made movies. After reading this book, we will understand that there is a high probability that he will return with a film that many will love, like the movies he made in the initial part of his career.

The much celebrated director shares anecdotes from his life. Personal memoirs reveals the struggle he had to endure in early days of his career. Episodes with Sreenivasan were hilarious. Overall a nice and quick read.

It is a compilation of memories by the ace movie maker Priyadarshan and the book is as beautiful as the visuals of his movies. There are tender as well as witty accounts in this pile of memoirs. The most interesting one I found was the driving lessons of Sreenivasan. He puts on paper his attachment with Cochin Haneefa, M. G. Soman, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Jagathy Sreekumar, Sreenivasan, etc.

Happy to learn about cinema and personal lives of actor. Not mentioning about Mohanlal was a letdown.
