Bonding with the Beta is the second book in the Fated Souls series. I didn’t read the first one yet (and that’s on me), and I think that’s why I was a bit confused at the beginning, so I’d recommend reading the series in order, rather than starting with the second one like I did.
With that being said, I still had a great time reading this novel. I will definitely read the first book, and obv the one that’s coming next too.
This novel isn’t as heavy on the fantasy as I expected, but again, it didn’t really take anything away from my enjoyment.

I need to say that while I understand why Kayden reacted the way he did during the plot twist, I still didn't like how he handled the situation.
There is also a mental health rep (check the TW) that I found very realistic, and I’m glad the FMC took her time and sought the help she needed. Sometimes you need to put yourself first to get better, and I’m so happy Kayleigh had the strength to do so, and that Kayden was waiting for her and respected her need for space.

Lastly, we should all take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this cover because it’s STUNNING!

Thanks to the author for providing me an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

*Minor Spoilers* ↓

This was honestly such a sweet read! I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this one. Going into it I really didn’t have the highest expectations but it was such an endearing love story.

I loved how ‘sweet nothings’ coded Kayden and Kayleigh were. They had so many sweet and heartwarming moments between them. All of the forehead kisses/moments brought me so much comfort while reading.

I didn’t expect the type of mental health representation in the character that we got it from, but it was still such an important and vital part to this story. While it wasn’t expected, I’m so glad that it was included in the story. I knew from the previous book that Kayleigh had more depth to her than we saw but I definitely wasn’t expecting what we’d gotten from her in this book. I loved seeing the mental health representation in this book. It was so raw and realistic; which is something that is so needed in more books. A lot of times there can be representation for mental health but it’s just not realistic. Either it’s a complete stereotype or they just end up healed overnight. I really liked that this book talked about the importance of therapy. I was so glad to see Kayleigh’s growth throughout the book.

Kayden and Kayleigh weren’t what I was expecting going into this book but they definitely grew on me. While I had some complaints about the first book, I’m glad to say that I liked this one a bit more.

I also enjoyed how their spicy scenes evolved throughout the novel. The pacing was also pretty well done.

Something that just didn’t sit quite well with me was after a highly emotional scene it was just followed up by sex. That is something in romance novels that always takes me out of the story and makes me enjoy it a lot less. I also didn’t love how the whole Mate bond plotline was so incredibly dragged out. It could’ve been built up throughout the story. That was one of the only issues I had with the pacing. I was also a bit bored and wasn’t as connected to the characters as I wanted to be.

Another thing that bothered me was the third act breakup. It wasn’t as deep as the circumstances were. I just wanted more from the characters during that part of the book. I also wished that we had more interactions between Evie and Kayden. The only scene that we got from them was during the third act breakup and it would’ve been nice to see some other interactions between the two of them.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend it. I made my way throughout it pretty quickly and enjoyed the story for the most part.

Favorite Quotes:

“You came,” I whisper. “You called, blondie, and I’d never let you down.”

“Sometimes, I wonder what I do to deserve you coming into my life,” I admit. Kayden presses a kiss on my forehead. “I wonder the same thing.”

I don’t want anything else. I want her.

I don’t like my brain. I don’t like my thoughts. I don’t like myself.

Ruin me? Kayleigh, I don’t care about your baggage. I am in love with you. You have your moments, everyone has their moments, do you think that’s stopped me from seeing every little good thing about you? No, it hasn’t

Kayden is too good for me. Anyone can see it. Why can’t he see the bad in me? Why can’t he see how easily I self- destruct the second something goes wrong? Why can’t he see that I’m ruined?

His scent swarms me, and I almost close my eyes at how much it makes me feel at home.

“I promise you, there are no ugly bits. I want the struggles. I want the pain. I want all of it, as long as it means I get to have you. I wanted you to jump with me, blondie, and I still stick by that.”

Kayleigh. My Kayleigh

How did I end up back here again? Because you are so breakable.

She makes me feel like I’m floating through water and I’m physically weightless.

“Just because you’re mates doesn’t mean you’re soulmates.”

“Just know I will love you in every lifetime.”

“Please,” he says hoarsely. “Please, just let me hold you.” And I can’t say no because I am so weak for him.

“I wasn’t going to miss this for the world, blondie, and you know it. You are the most important thing in my life.”

This is the second book in the fated souls series and follows Ava's best friend Kayleigh who is a university student, and the beta of the pack - Kayden.
Kayleigh is completely unaware of the paranormal world or that her best friend and everyone around them are secretly shifters, all she knows is she is there to support her best friends pregnancy, and she needs to avoid Kayden the handsome guy she's hopelessly drawn too but keeps embarrassing herself infront of. Meanwhile Kayden is confused why he can hear Kayleigh's thoughts even though she isn't his mate or a wolf, but he is also drawn to her, protective, and can't help but flirt, tease and please her.
The story is filled with a steamy slow burn romance, flirty banter, a sweet and healing partnership, and some paranormal surprises. It's also a journey of self healing, patience, acceptance and regaining confidence.
Kayleigh's ex is a walking red flag, there's pack drama which causes emotional turmoil, its light on the worldbuilding and instead focusses on the romantic journey, the passion, and their internal struggles, and it has a hea.

🐺 "I'd do anything to see you smile"
🐺 "You deserve to be appreciated and cared for and everything else in between. Never settle for less - you are worth so much more"
🐺 "I want the struggles. I want the pain. I want all of it, as long as it means I get to have you"
🐺 "I can't fucking breathe without you"

❤️🐺"You are my everything."❤️🐺

This is book 2 in the Fated Souls series. The relationship dynamic between Kayden and Kayleigh was quite different from Jaxon and Ava, especially since there was a lot less paranormal themes going on. I liked that these characters had their flaws and were given the space to grow and mature throughout the book. Also, Kayden was hot as fuck so...yeah.

The only thing I could have gone without is the amounts of miscommunication that went on between Kayden and Kayleigh. I feel like a good chunk of the conflict that they had could have been solved with one conversation. But that's just me. Either way, i'm so thankful for receiving this arc and I can't wait to see what's going down in book 3!

"You have been and will always be my number one, Kayleigh. Don't you see that? There will be no one else after you. No one."

4.25 stars

I've been so looking forward to Kayleigh and Kayden's story ever since their first meet-cute in book 1, and I loved them together so much. Even though their romance burned hot and fast at first, Kayleigh carried so much trauma and heartache from her previous relationship that prevented her from fully embracing Kayden's attraction. I thought a few scenes were overly dramatic, and I grew frustrated with the constant back-and-forth, but I understood why Kayleigh reacted so fiercely. The twist on fated mates was very unique and added to the drama and angst, but it also ultimately allowed Kayleigh and Kayden to grow independently and closer together. I loved how patient and obsessed Kayden was with Kayleigh as she learns to trust herself once again, and I cannot wait for the next book🖤

Tropes: secret fated mates, forbidden love, golden retriever hero, healing heroine, he falls first, 'touch her and die' vibes, will they/won't they, angsty pining, hurt/comfort, mental health and trauma rep, OW/OM drama (no cheating), found family, STEAMY🔥

I received this as an ARC copy but due to personal reasons, it took me way longer than usual to finish it. However, I whole heartedly loved this book from beginning to end. I know some people don’t like miscommunication but I LOVE IT. RIP my heart out, stamp on it and shove it right back in again! Call me a masochist 💁🏻‍♀️ what can I say? 😂
Jayden as a character was just my absolute favourite. Where can we find such attentive and down right gentlemanly men? He was an absolute gem, with a heart of gold.
I did find Kayleigh a tad whiney but at the same time, it was completely understandable given the situation. My heart really went out to her throughout the whole book and I just wanted to wrap her in a hug and tell her it would be okay.
This is a book I’d definitely reread and if you’re someone who likes spice, hot werewolf men with amazing personalities and a woman who just deserves the world. Then this will be your cup of tea ☕️💕

I was lucky enough to get an ARC read for Savanna’s debut novel, Second Chance Mates. Naturally, when she announced needing BETA readers for Bonding With The Beta, I jumped!!

When I tell you I devoured this in less than 24-hours 😮‍💨 I love Savanna’s characters, their relatable struggles (sometimes hard within fantasy novels, personally), and a well-deserved HEA. It was also lovely to meet new characters while expanding on some from the first book.

If you love shifter novels and fated mates, you’ll love anything Savanna puts out there!!

I was lucky enough to recive an ARC copy of binding with beta! I would 100% recommend this book if you like the found family trope as it definitely had that feel!
Even though I have not read book 1 in this series I felt that you could read this book as a stand alone as I wasn’t confused at any point and the background characters from the first book were explained as if you were just being introduced to them which I found great!
I really enjoyed learning about the fmc’s personal development journey and found the plot of her healing from past experiences really heartwarming and inspiring.
I loved the romance that we followed in this book and without spoiling anything, I liked the realism within the relationship.
I would definitely class this book as a romance with supernatural aspects instead of a romantasy as the focus was definitely predominantly on the romantic interests and that plot line rather than the fantasy aspect and plot in that way and I feel like if the series does continue we may get to learn more about the world building and other aspects. (There may have been more of this in book one that I have not yet read but have added to my tbr because I enjoyed this book so much!) I loved savanna’s writing style and found her descriptive writing made it really easy to visualise the characters and events in my head.
Overall I gave this book 4/5 as I would definitely recommend to anyone that enjoys a heated romance story with an added aspect which in this case was the werewolves, hence the title!

Rating 4.5/5🌟

This was such a fun and entertaining read, with lots of banter and very interesting and complex characters. I really liked the way the plot and the characters were developed. Kayden and Kayleigh's story now has a special place in my heart.❤️‍🩹

I always encourage others to check out the TW in books that focus on mental health and past trauma, so make sure to read it out beforehand. Savanna did a really good job of portraying mental health and the struggles the FMC goes through.

Even though it's a part of a series (and I recommend reading it in order) don't let that deter you from getting into this one, as it can be read as a standalone.

Thank you Savanna for the e-ARC and for this wonderful story!!!

OMG!!! I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to get the ARC but I’m grateful for it. I love this world so much and the emotions I felt were on a roller coaster. We love men written by women honestly. Dual POV is always my favourite when it comes to romance. Hearing how much the characters are there for each other is amazing.

This series is on my 6🌟 list for sure. The found family and cameo scenes of Jax and Ava is exactly what I needed to finish the year with.

Unputdownable. I soared through this book, and as someone who thrives on immersive, heavy fantasy worlds, I was delightfully surprised by how blissfully I devoured every page considering it leans more toward low fantasy/ paranormal romance. The ‘magic’ here isn’t the grandiose kind with intricate systems or bestowed powers; instead, it’s rooted in love, connection, found family, and raw emotion—a refreshing take that serves its purpose.

The story captivated me with its relatable characters, intricate plot, and thoughtful representation of mental health. While I often praise world-building as the anchor that connects me to characters, this time, it was the sheer depth of emotion that resonated most. The highs and lows hit like tidal waves, pulling you into the story’s intensity. Every blow, every reprieve—it’s all delivered with such precision you’ll be in the eye of the emotional storm.

Told through a dual POV, we follow Kayleigh and Kayden. I’ve always loved getting the MMC’s perspective; it adds layers of depth to their character and, more often than not, makes them even more endearing. But oh, the frustration when you know exactly why the MMC is doing something, while the FMC remains oblivious. I was screaming at the pages, “Just tell her!” And yet, that tension—the slow, deliberate unraveling of truths—is what makes this story so gripping. You’re caught in a delicious push and pull, rooting for them to figure it out, while savoring every moment of their growth and connection. The slow burrrrn, will make you antsy for all the right reasons.

Kayden might be one of the most likeable MMCs I’ve ever read—a golden retriever (or should I say wolf?) in human form. He feels like he was crafted straight from the ‘Prince Charming’ playbook: fiercely devoted, selfless, loyal, protective, and profoundly caring. He’s the kind of character who makes the FMC feel safe and truly seen. Suffice it to say, you’ll be hopelessly invested.

Kayleigh, on the other hand, navigates her trauma and mental health struggles with a grace that makes her incredibly relatable. I wanted nothing more than to wrap her in a hug and tell her everything would be okay. Her journey is turbulent yet inspiring, a testament to her quiet strength and resilience. Watching her grow is an emotional experience—you’ll cheer for her triumphs, ache for her setbacks, and ultimately feel proud of her transformation. She shines as a beacon of hope, proving that healing is possible even in the face of overwhelming challenges.

The bond between Kayleigh and Kayden is a stunning nod to the transformative power of finding the right person. The healing, the love, the passion—it’s all interwoven with themes of self-improvement and growth, making their relationship as heartwarming as it is compelling. The found-family dynamic adds another layer of richness to the narrative, offering moments that will make you smile, laugh, and cry.

This book is an emotional rollercoaster, and every twist and turn is worth it. With its unforgettable characters, deeply resonant themes, and a love story that feels magical in its authenticity, this is a romantasy you won’t want to miss. Keeping my fingers crossed for a book 3, I could read about these two for daysssss.

Title: Bonding with the Beta
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25

Thank you so much Savanna Rose for the amazing opportunity of reading this beautiful book as an ARC! My review is completely made up of my own thoughts and opinions!

I devoured this paranormal werewolf romance and couldn’t put it down. I loved reading about Kayleigh and Kaden’s banter and playfulness from the very beginning! It kept me engaged and excited for the progression of their relationship!

The progression of their journey was definitely a rollercoaster, they went through a lot and had moments of self discovery and conversations that helped them grow and become more open which was really lovely! There was the right amount of communication being made with each other with some moments they had to work on but strived to make it work overall!

This was quite an emotional one at times with some difficult and sensitive topics mentioned that I think Savanna wrote about with care and consideration beautifully.

There was a lot of strength and change from Kayleigh, I was truly so proud of what she was able to achieve in her bravery to stand up for herself and others and I know that Kaden was behind her every step of the way encouraging her as well! Kaden was perfect in constantly showing Kayleigh support and believing in her no matter what!

I loved the storyline of them almost being forbidden for each other. Kaden being a wolf is going to have a mate/soul bond connection but isn’t sure why he’s able to hear Kayleigh’s thoughts when she’s only human. Knowing that they shouldn’t be together and yet can’t deny his feelings for her, through some trials and tribulations that they face together they’re able to overcome any confusion and challenges together which overall is really interesting to learn why everything has happened and how/why they have an undeniable connection to each other!

Something that was so integral and important in this book for me was the found family aspect! I absolutely adored the relationship Kayleigh and Kaden both had with Ava and Jaxon (our main characters from book 1) because they were always there in the background helping and supporting with showing them that they belong together. Seeing glimpses of their own relationship and finding out more of their future since their book was beautiful as well!

This takes me on to the fact that I really appreciated seeing many characters from book 1 included in this one. I’d definitely encourage you to read that book first so you really understand and appreciate The Fated Souls series entirely!

I’m really excited to note that there is going to be a book 3 in this series! Though it hasn’t been confirmed who it’s going to be about I have some guesses and whoever it ends up being about I know I’m going to love it! This’ll be something to look forward to along with whatever else Savanna has in store for us this year!

Release day is today, 3rd January!❤️

ARC REVIEW 📚

Bonding with the Beta is a brilliantly written and captivating story, blending the allure of the supernatural with sizzling chemistry and a great emotional journey.

The novel centres around a passionate and intense relationship between a very human Kayleigh and Beta Wolf, Kayden. 🐺

In spite of her traumatic past, Kayleigh is a strong-willed, fiercely loyal and gentle woman who finds herself drawn to Kayden; a charismatic but sensitive character. As their bond deepens, they face numerous challenges, from navigating pack politics and internal struggles to dealing with toxic ex-boyfriends and the intense emotions that come with their bond. 💕

While the spice in this novel is incredible, sensual, and just red, RED hot, it is not the sole foundation to Kayleigh and Kayden's relationship. You see them go from friends to Lovers, you see them argue, you see them cry and distrust one another, you see them accept one another. All of this just adds substance to the romance, and it was perfect 👌🏻

The genuine love between them in palpable, and I must applaud Savanna on creating such a beautiful couple that competes with the likes of Xaden & Violet of Fourth Wing and Rhys & Feyre of ACOTAR. ❤️

What I loved most about this novel is Kayleighs' incredible journey of self-discovery and self-love as she learns to navigate past her trauma and learn to accept her newfound desires and her connection with Kayden - adding plenty of angst but also emotional depth to the story that is both touching and relatable 🌹

Overall, Bonding with the Beta is a wonderfully engaging read if you are a fan of paranormal romance. ✨️

Savanna Rose balances the heat and the heart brilliantly; delivering a story full of passion, intrigue, and a beautifully developed relationship that will have you laughing, crying, and giggling with joy. 🤗

If you're looking for a story that offers both a sizzling romance and an emotional journey, this book is worth your time and attention 💖 It is truly wonderful.

😩🔥 Kayden and Kayleigh! Driving me insane since Wattpad. I can't believe I finally have gotten to see these babies out in the world and published so beautifully. Thank you so much for the ARC, Savannah. I am so proud of you! ❤️

Kayden Hartley 🔥 Holysmokinghotbaby! My love! It's been years, and he still dwells on my mind. Tall, handsome, intelligent, successful, rich, a werewolf, golden retriever, touch her and die, kinky af, dirty talker, talks her through it, loves her toys 🤭, will do anything for her, and has the kindest heart and sweetest soul ever! This man is protective as hell, and both Kayleigh and I love it! He is extremely supportive of her, from day one. This man left no stone unturned to be there for her, no matter the situation.

Kayleigh Elliot 🥹 One of the sassiest and most badass FMC's I know 🤭 She's been one of my inspirations for years. Beautiful, strong, intelligent, sassy, fierce, black cat vibes, protective, the sweetest heart and soul, possessive, kinky, dirty talker too, kind, a student at Brightwater University, and loves Kayden with everything she is. She is Ava's childhood and best friend, who is the FMC of Book One and another one of my favorite FMC's ever! She's had a toxic relationship in the past, which scares her to take a chance with Kayden, but as time goes on and she can't stay away from him, she finally gives him a chance and I am so happy for them 🥹

The writing, storyline, and characters are absolutely beautiful and perfect. I didn't really know what to expect with a possible rewrite from the story I read on Wattpad, but I can tell you for sure, Savannah did not disappoint, and I liked this version! I would love to see the other version again, though someday 😭❤️

ARC Review: Bonding With The Beta- Savanna Rose
This is the second book in the Fated Souls series. I was so excited to be able to receive an ARC of this book since the first book, Second Chance Mates was a 5 star read for me, which I read back in June. This book follows FMC Kayleigh and MMC Kayden. Kayleigh is a human who is in college, and Kayden is a wolf shifter who is the beta to Jaxon from book 1. Kayden is everything you would want and more in a MMC. He is kind, thoughtful, protective, and just overall perfection. This book also covers mental health issues. Savanna did it justice and wrote about some very realistic scenarios that comes with past trauma, anxiety, break downs, and other things (check TW). I would recommend this book to anyone and not just because I gave it 5 stars. Bonding With The Beta is unlike any shifter romance book I have read in that I think anyone who doesn’t typically lean towards shifter books will also love it. It is a totally different vibe from the first book in a great way. I love the road Savanna chose to go with these characters and it was truly a magical experience. I cannot wait for everyone to read this when it releases on 1/3 and also so I can grab a physical copy to annotate!! Thank you again to Savanna for giving me the opportunity to read this story as an ARC. Also, this is a connected stand alone. The other characters are seen throughout but don’t let it deter you from picking this up!!! (Even though the 1st book is also 5 stars) 🖤🐺

4.25⭐️Thank you Savanna Rose for providing me an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

I don't think people realise how long I've been after a werewolf romance. I've been wanting to get back into it! And it did throw me off that this was set in England but I loved it ! I need to find the location and hope for the best 🤭

My bad ! I didn't realise this was the 2nd book in the series, so I am eager to read book one, Second Chance Mates. Savanna did say that you can read Bonding With the Beta without reading book 1.

Kayleigh is such a relatable character in terms of her mental health. I feel like this was portrayed and written delicately and beautifully.

Have I found a book boyfriend in Kayden?.. why yes I have. He was so swoony and so protective of Kayleigh. I can just imagine his bulky arms in a black tee 🥵🤭

I look forward to reading more for Rose. It defo changes up my normal reading of just contemporary romance and pure fantasy, I love to enjoy a mix ❣️

Reason for the rating... there were a couple of scenes that did irk me a bit. Especially a scene were Kayden didn't handle a situation in the best way. So of course there was a 3rd act breakup scene. And I was expecting more wolf scenes.

Thank you to Savanna Rose for the early review copy of Bonding with the Beta!

Bonding with the Beta is the second book in the Fated Souls series. In a world where fated mates are determined by the Moon Goddess, Kayden has been patiently waiting for his match while watching his pack members settle down around him. So when he meets Kayleigh and is able to hear her thoughts, he immediately feels drawn to her. But Kayleigh is a human who has sworn off dating after a toxic relationship and as a human, Kayden knows he should stay away from her. Unable to stay apart, their bond grows stronger each day, the last thing they expect is a visitor to arrive and tear their world apart. Their love might be magical, but can it beat the fates?

Firstly, I am obsessed with this cover, it’s so gorgeous! I felt like I’d forgotten a bit from the first book because it has been a while so it took me a minute to jump back into this world but I liked this one once I did. I think the mind reading thing is kind of cool, even just between the pack members. I liked that Kayleigh took the time away to get a handle on her mental health and the things she’d experienced in the past, it made it feel more real and was good development for her character. Kayden was sweet, the way he dealt with things wasn’t always prefect but he definitely gives golden retriever vibes.

[ ARC review ]

This has been one of my most anticipated books and it did not disappoint! I devoured it in a day, actually nine hours to be exact. It was that good, I couldn’t put it down!

Kayleigh and Kayden have been in my mind since their first meeting in book one - their chemistry was that good. They had this flirty-bantery sort of relationship that was so entertaining and consuming to read and the fact that they took it at their own pace (not fast or slow, just what felt right) made the book flow by without me realising.

The plot twist at the end was not something I expected - I think the longest I went without the book in my hands after I started was when the truth was revealed. I was in shock, unsure of what could happen after that (in between wanting to murder the author and applaud her for that). But I do have to say that I hated the way Kayden handled the situation. I get the shock, really I do but it felt like an out-of-character action for him after everything he had done and Kayleigh was right about wanting space and time apart after that.

Honestly, if you haven’t picked up this series, then what are you doing? It deserves all the hype!! Can’t wait for what’s next!

Well If you were team werewolves, this is certainly one to get your claws into.

This is the second book in the Fated Souls Series. This is a standalone so the series does not need to read in order, however there is a cross over of characters so it helps you understand the background of this book a bit more!

This story follows Kayleigh and Kayden. Kayden is a Beta wolf and Kayleigh is sociology student at Stonebridge university. Now these two have met before briefly one year prior to the placement of this book and there was definitely some sparks flying but nothing was acted upon. They meet again at their mutual friends baby shower, where they lock eyes and our girl Kayleigh definitely get wet between the thighs 😂 oh that was a good one 👌🏻

Kayleigh’s coming off the back of really toxic breakup and is trying to love herself again and our man Kayden is certainly to love all of the parts for her, especially one in particular 👅

This man is epitome of proving the saying wrong, case sometimes nice guys do get to finish, as long as it not before this women 😁

I love how was based in the UK and the further details into the folklore with werewolves.

There was a few spelling mistakes but for me I just skip over those ❤️

Absolutely Banger!

Following Ava’s best friend, Kayleigh. Bonding with the Beta follows Kayleigh and Kayden story.

Kayden is the Beta of the pack and Kayleigh is a university student with no knowledge of the paranormal world.

Poor girl needs a break from Karl Marx (ifykyk)💀

As someone’s who’s currently having a wobble over university, everything was wrote perfectly, I just need a Kayden to come rescue me know!!

Kayleigh has had a traumatic nasty ex, she doesn’t want to date and she pushes Kayden away. Kayden is feeling drawn to her and can hear her thoughts but Kayleigh isn’t his fated mate…

❤️ human x werewolf
🐺 spicy toy play
❤️ boy obsessed
🐺 he falls first
❤️ mental health rep
🐺 angst

Quotes I highlighted:

“Never settle for less. Because you deserve the damn world.”

“No more boys.
“Vibrator orgasms only.”

“The heart wants what the heart wants,”
“And unfortunately, it will always want you.”

Bonding with the Beta brings a refreshing twist to the werewolf human romance trope. Unlike the usual fated mates storyline, this book introduces a unique concept where Kayleigh and Kayden aren’t bound by destiny but by choice, making their connection feel even more raw and real.

Kayleigh’s journey is deeply emotional, dealing with mental health struggles in a way that feels authentic and relatable. Kayden is absolute boyfriend material—soft, supportive, patient, yet undeniably alluring when the tension rises. Their chemistry is intense with the right amount of spice keeping you hooked.

What really stands out is how the story focuses on healing, trust, and personal growth rather than relying on the typical mate bond. If you love werewolf romances but want something different, this book delivers a fresh take with all the heart and heat you could ask for!

I absolutely loved this! Kayden is the ultimate book boyfriend—kind, patient, and completely obsessed with Kayleigh in the best way. Their story was full of so much heart, angst, and healing, and I loved watching them grow together.

The twist on fated mates was so unique, and the mental health representation made the story feel even more real. Even though it’s part of a series, you can easily read it as a standalone. If you love a protective hero, emotional romance, and a bit of steam (correction: A LOT), you need to read this one!

You need soulmates vibes? He freaking gets goosebumps holding a book she OWNS!

Kayleigh and Kayden
The story: Kayden is attracted to Keyleigh and can't stay away. Moreover, he can hear her thoughts, something which happens only between mates. However, they aren't mates but that doesn't stop them from having a relationship. The real problem is that Kayden's mate appears and then everything shatters.
I really liked the plot and the twist about their connection. It was unexpected and welcome. It was a pleasant book to read will banter and nice steamy moments. Kayleigh had many insecurities and I loved how Kayden helped her through it all.
All in all, it was a very good read. I recommend it, especially to werewolf readers!

This was another emotional rollercoaster ride.
This book had me laughing, crying, and at times screaming at my Kindle.
Kayden and Kayleigh's romance was intense. Kayleigh had been through so much, and I'm so glad her and Kayden got their HEA, though at one point I wasn't sure how we were going to get there.
The romance in this book is heartwarming, and it's definitely spicier than book 1 but in the perfect way.
I think the story of book 1 is still my favourite, but this is still a great sequel.

Read this if you like:

I love love loved Kayden and Kayleigh! Kayden honestly has my heart. He was such a flirt with his blondie. He was also extremely understanding and patient when it came to past traumas that Kayleigh had. My heart went out to Kayleigh I just wanted to give her a hug and tell her she was worth it!!

This definitely has some heavier topics so I would read the trigger warnings before diving in. Getting to see Jax and Ava again with their baby was everything! I can’t wait to see what Savanna writes next!

Thank you for the arc copy Savanna🫶🏻

Okay, so I might be in love with Kayden. He’s the sweetest and most caring MMC who is so patient with our sensitive girl Kayleigh, and God knows us sensitive girlies need a special kind of man.

The twist at the end was chefs kiss! I was zooming through the pages because I needed to know what happened next! Plus, the spicy scenes are incredible! So well written!

The mental health rep is so perfectly done, too! Overall, this book was amazing! It’s a perfect blend of fantasy and romance and I 100% recommend picking it up and reading it asap!

I need more books from Sav!

A paranormal college romance! Wow!

Kayleigh and Kayden are two little sweethearts. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and steamy.

Kayleigh has such a fantastic character development storyline, her strength and resilience is stunning. She is such a badass!

And I thighs Jax was a hot wolf, but I think Kayden has stolen his spot. He is so swoony.

Thank you Savanna for an advanced copy. <3

3.5-4 ⭐️
was genuinely such a good book until about 70-80% in it and then it all went to shit i stg. the miscommunication WENT OFF THE ROCKER and then they “separated” about three times (idk i lost count tbh). i’m not even kidding when i say that all they had to do was SPEAK TO EACH OTHER and the whole problem would’ve been solved. and im sorry but that “plot twist”?!?! what in the fuck was that about.

but i will say Kayden is HOTT and the smut was a big fat slay.
