Welcome back to Wyoming, home of the Speed Demons MC
Dagger
Thirty years ago, the woman I loved betrayed me. We both went on to live our lives as best we could, but I never truly forgave or forgot what she did to us.
Tragic secrets come to light, and my world is blown apart when I discover the dark forces controlling our town manipulated us. While Elise did everything to protect our daughter, I lived in ignorant bliss.
Now, the tables have turned, and I’m the one who seeks forgiveness.
Elise is mine, and I won’t rest until she’s safe and the Speed Demons have annihilated the evil that resides in Hambleton.
War is here, and nothing will ever be the same again.
Dagger is the final book of the Speed Demons series and must be read in order.
I love this author writing style and her books but didn’t like this one bc it was tragic for the FMC. Yes strong but what a tosser of a MMC IMO. The author wrote such a great story meaning I could imagine all the feels and ended up hating on the MMC to the end. So yeah I wasn’t interested in this sad sack story.
Even with the blurb… I still went for the read and I could not even begin to imagine the shit show the heroine had to go through.
Meanwhile this douche bag got married for 20 years had kids etc and divorced so a decent life while she has their baby stolen from her and spends 30 years pretty much protecting this clown and her baby. Btw she never actually raises her kid she finds her when she’s an adult.
Now he’s angry at himself for believing the lies… (he was only 22) still I don’t want to read a story where nothing good ever happens to the FMC until he’s back in the picture …THIRTY YEARS LATER (30!) wtf.
I’m a huge fan of reading older couple stories but this shit is beyond me even with he didn’t love his ex wife like her (he still proved he didn’t love her) ppl be wasting people time in books too 🫣 what’s the point buddy even after the divorce he still did nothing.

I am going to give it 5 stars just because of all the emotions it invoked 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The last book in the Speed Demons Series 🥺 and I was hesitant to read it because 1- I did not want this series to end and 2- I was not a John Stone Fan (still isn't) But, It's been a ride and all good things have to come to an end
Following the Speed Demons from Book 1, I don't think it was intended for Dagger (John Stone) to have a book from the beginning. His story kinda forced itself. He was the cornerstone in every book and the center of both conflict and solution.
But there was another Speed Demon who left a major impact from the beginning. Bandit I consider him the villain of the series in a way. Though he tried to atone by the end, but nothing he could have done would amend what he caused.
Jules wrote two duets within this series Snow/Breaker and now Stone/Dagger
Why? Because in each duet we see the same man change drastically as if to become two different men.
And that is how I will review this book. As if Stone is different from Dagger. They both love Elise, but Stone's love was toxic while Dagger's is nourishing.
⚜ rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ⚜Genre: MC Romance ⚜Theme: Second-Chance Dark Romance ⚜Targeted audience: Adults ⚜Characters: Speed Demons ⚜Representation: Mental Health ⚜Pace: Medium ⚜TW: a lot! A whole fucking lot! violence- child rape - trafficking - abuse - PTSD ⚜ tropes: redemption - the one ⚜ POV: multiple first-person mainly Dagger and Elise ⚜ spice: 0.5 🌶 believe it or not, this book is almost smut-free except for one small scene at the end which I absolutely love about that. The focus was on the rounding up of the series, and the coming back of Elise and Dagger. ⚜standalone: No, it is part of a duet and should be read after Stone. But even that, since everything that happened in the other books affects this one, it is best to read the series. ⚜Ending: HEA, and setting the mood for the next series in the making ⚜Book read: Kindle (of course I preordered) but it is available on KU
Stone/Dagger is the president of the Speed Demons. in Stone, we see his beginnings. We see the HUGE impact Bandit, his father and MC Prez, had on him. Everything Bandit said, goes. And Bandit had it for Elise from the beginning. He saw her as a threat, someone who could take his son away from the club. Young Stone, unfortunately, sided with his father mostly. The way he treated Elise and did not protect her properly brought so much anger
And that is why I say that Young Stone was not suitable for Elise. Even if they were to be together, they would have destroyed each other. Maybe him more her.
Circumstances happened Stone was thought to be KIA Pregnant Elise sought the help of the club They turn her down she was manipulated to marry one of the most vilest man Henderson steels Elise and John's baby to control Elise Elise works with the FBI to bring Henderson down
Now to Dagger (John Stone's MC name)
30 years later, Dagger and Elise are united under the most cruel circumstances.
And here is where my review will come
Stone was never going to be Elise's salvation. While he was her downfall, Dagger was her resurrection
and to understand that, we have to understand how much Stone changed. In book 1, he was so heavily influenced by Bandit. He only saw the club and nothing else His marriage, though produced four children, was not one of love but of respect and understanding. And even that crumbled because of the club. So many times we see him almost losing his children because he had put the club first.
Throughout the series, with each book, Dagger starts losing the hardness around his heart. Everytime one of his kids finds their soulmates, he sees how cherished they are, how eventually, they put their partners above all else.
My Cash would've left his club for Cara and WIlder. If staying at the club meant losing Kennedy and his kids, I wouldn't see Kit for dust. Freya happily left for her man
The club takes priority, the club comes first, club is everything. But it wasn't. Family was everything.
and because of that, the decision for Dagger became Elise Bell was everything when Stone would have discarded her for the club.
So here is my take
If you live in an environment full of love, support, loyalty, laughter, innocence, your heart is bound to change for the better. You will become optimistic and see hope for your future Dagger was living this life He started out grim and violence But his family changed him to the better and that change was what Elise needed
Elise, my poor baby, endured so much. She had the opposite life. She started with a loving family and a loving boyfriend In a short time, she lost all lost her love lost her daughter lost her life she was immersed in an evil medium she saw doom and gloom everyday Yes she was so strong, yes she took charge and wanted to get rid of her evil husband but every day with him, little of herself died she needed the sunshine and hope provided by Dagger's family
Dagger: "Shame on Bandit for believing she couldn't handle club life, and shame on me for listening to his bullshit"
Stone wronged Elise so hard there was no coming back from what he did Nothing he could have done at that time would have been enough to make Elise forgive
But Dagger, after 30 years, is another man, a different man. He is the other! He became Elise's salvation and her way back into life.
Elise at one point, lost the desire to live being with her daughter and the Speed Demon brought her back
Don't get me wrong, Dagger is still the biggest SOB. The way he was presenting himself as a victim and equating what he went through with what Elise went through made me want to put a bullet through his head But still, I loved him for Elise. The poor woman deserved all the love in the world after what she went through.
I don't think this is a story of betrayal and grovel It is more a book about change, acceptance and love
A huge example is Layla Layla in her book, Bowie, was this overly sweet, overly simple, overly doormatty heroine. I do not think her book gave her justice. But I loved seeing her growing and coming into her strength She became a person I could relate to rather then a person I try not be like She took charge and became the hero.
and this is what I love to see in series. The growth and Change. The Flaws and Mistakes and for that, this book deserves five stars
I will miss the Speed Demons but I know Jules is planning a new series where we get to see some of our beloved characters
==========================================
here are some moments that left me laughing
**Atlas standing up and protecting his ma-in-law is everything Dagger should have done**
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏🤣 “We need to convince Henderson that Brett didn’t rat.” Hannigan smirked. “Hypothetically, what would you do to a hypothetical prisoner who kept his mouth shut?” Atlas glanced at Pete’s presence through the tablet and cleared his throat nervously. “Hypothetically, we’d half hypothetically kill any hypothetical prisoner who didn’t sing like a hypothetical fuckin’ canary.”
Cara on Wilder: "I knew it" Cara's voice yelled from behind the door of the clubhouse. "Cash, your demon spawn drove Mary fucking Poppins away!" Abe choked out a laugh.
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trope: second chance Angst: 😱😱😱😱😱 Smexy: 🔥
What an emotional read! Dagger is a fantastic conclusion to the series and John and Elise's story. Like the rest of the series, it has you waffling between tears of pain and sorrow and tears from laughing so hard at the crazy antics of these incredible men. I love all these characters so much, and while I'm sad to see the series' conclusion, it was the ending we all wanted and needed. It is so well written and has tons of action to keep you glued to the pages. I picked this book up and just couldn't put it down until I was done. Dagger is going in my best of 2024 pile, but The Speed Demons have definitely secured their place in my top 3 MC series of all time.
The 30 year separation alone would make this a hard no for me but the fact that the FMC’s life was so t0rturous while the MMC gets everything he ever wanted with ZERO effort is an automatic “WILL NEVER READ”, for me. Sometimes I’ll read a “NO GO”, book but this will not be one of them.
I’m starting to think this author isn’t for me. I have only read “Cash” by this author. And while that book had a lot of things I liked, it also pissed me off. You can see my review of that book. I have not been able to get into any of her other books so far. They are just too ridiculous, and not in a funny way, for me. Oh well.
Jules Ford is so talented that I did not want to finish this book, I am in awe. How this series was concluded was so well executed, I loved the entire book, hell the series ! Dagger and Elise, all the emotions were so well written that I felt a part of this biker family, the pov's were clear and thought provoking at times, not an easy history between them, dealt with sensitive subjects but also gave us light hearted moments filled with love and camaraderie. I really enjoyed it, thank you!
Couldn't care less about him in the end, they way he acted, the way he treated Everyone and how in the end he had the best of all worlds.
One question though: WHERE IS HIS FIRST DAUGHTER? You know the one he shamelessly pushed away because she had the audacity to fall in love with one of the brothers and "disrespect" him?? Oh wait, he doesn't need her. He found his original one. From his first love.
I don't know if it was an error, a misjudgement from the author or another message but this pissed me off. Even in the wedding there was no mention or major interaction with her.
Such a pity.

Dagger Dagger. I dont know if 5 stars is enough. This books was absolutely one of my favorites of this series. We have been through a lot with Dagger. And he finally gets his happy ever after. Elise and Dagger have a whole lotta history and to watch them come together is nothing short of heart ache and joy. We also get plenty of action with the brothers and their ladies and kids. This was the perfect book to end out the series. So many amazing parts you just couldnt help buy fall in love with all over. I highly recommend this book.
This book deserved all of the stars. Loved Dagger - this book had everything - second chance romance, action, plenty of humour and all the family vibes. It was a long book but did not feel it. I liked that we got more after all the action - a glimpse into their lives post all the drama. That epilogue was great and hopefully paving the way for the second generation.
What a fabulous end (sort of) to an amazingly addictive and sizzling set of bad boys! The ups, downs and all arounds throughout the series come together and John and Elise finally get a chance. I cannot wait for what Jules Ford has in store for us next. Thank you for an amazing series.
Well-written, end of series saga, but the entire plot annoyed me.
The so-called love of your life, suffering abuse for 30 years, and the villain going to such extraordinary lengths to get and keep her, while the hero lives his life with the woman he cares about and has four kids he loves, and he has a great life… It was just a bit too much for me.

Where do I even begin? First off, this entire series was phenomenal. It cut me with every emotion there possibly is. It takes a lot for me to say that a series will stick with me - heart and soul - and Jules Ford has done that remarkably. I love how the series started with Dagger's kids finding their matches and their storylines to grow into the reason it all started to begin with, Dagger and Elise. Second, this book gutted me in the best way possible. I'm glad it was the longest so it was able to explain the entire war, how everyone was involved, and how everyone found their peace to heal. As a parent, I'm looking forward to, but dreading, my children growing up and starting their own families. We want to keep them little and in our protective bubble forever, and through John's words and thoughts, his life experiences, and his acceptance with the past and the future, I was able to connect on such an intricate level. I Kim-Kardashian cried, and even had moments I had to put the book down to regroup my own thoughts. Jules did the Speed Demons an honor with the incredible ending, and I can only hope we can see what happens now with Sunny and Kai. I'm also grateful that even though John and Elise were not able to raise children how they wanted to, they were able to raise Robert Junior's kids and give them the best life possible. Its a heartbreak for me that the Wyoming chapter has come to and end, and I truly feel myself grieving for the closing of it. However, it takes a strong writer to make me feel this way. It has only happened one other time with Cerberus MC by Marie James, who I had put on a pedestal as an author. Jules Ford has risen to the same level for me. A lot of MC smut books are just that. Simple acts of intimacy and a small plot to give a bit of drama. However, I was able to see the storyline, especially in Dagger's book, play out in my mind like a movie on the big screen - something I truly enjoyed the entire series as well. If you haven't started this series I give the highest recommendation that you do because you will fall in love with every single grandparent, parent, and child just as I did.
WOW!!! Words Don't Subscribe, this book. It was AwesomenessFantasticneesAmazing , and Holy Cow!!!! This is DEFINITELY, A MUST READ!!! This is more than a 5 Star Read!! This is the 8th and final book, in the Speed Demon Series. This book Blew me away. This series was AwesomeFanasticAmazing , even the ending. She even top, my two favorite books, in this series. ( Snow\Breaker books). This book was Totally, well written. This book was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and So Well Written. I read, this book once already, going to reread it again , this weekend. because it was So AwesomenessFasticnessAmazing. 💓 these Great Wonderful Characters, Hot MC Bikers., it was So Unpredictable, entertaining, 💓 all of my "Days of Our Bikers Lives," 💓 Dutchess, she has resentment inside, but "needed to let that shit go", these secrets are gonna destroy us if we let ‘em, she’s got away from evil, evil husband, narcissistic, never underestimate a woman, we always come back fighting, he took her baby, years later found baby (as an adult), found, safe haven, she was young, inexperienced, lost, and grieving. blackmail (using her daughter as leadridge), manipulated, rip a newborn baby from its mother?”and its father?”,psychopath,”woman’s been to hell and back, believed lies, Mentally, I was incapable, just then she secretly was taken down her husband still trying to keep her baby safe, face tattoo, Dutchess was the Love of his life and Dagger was the love of her life, Working with FEDS, PTSD, Brother betrayed, cry, kill, Kidnapped, bassass Ladies, war, Assless showing his protection to his Ma😂😂, Pissing contest ( between Dagger and Atlas) , intense, Action Packed, "they got friends in low places", found Family, things keeping thrown at them (sadness, heartache, lies, and manipulation, and more), raped and controlled, games of cat and mouse, Dirty talk, romantic, laughing, Atlas and his toy (😂😂😂), HEA, or is it at the end😂😂😂😂 and Sunny got to Atlas (at the end)( what she call him), Dagger Santa suit😂😂😂😂, and so much more. OH, the ending. OMG, never thought that would happen. WOW!!! ever saw it coming!!!Can't Wait, for the next Generation ( Hint Hint😂). This book will finally come to the end of the Speed Demons for now?? But , I still need more of "Days of Our Bikers Lives’ even if it's the next generation.🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥book.
This year I have been absolutely obsessed with this series, and I was both excited and sad to go into this book because with Dagger, comes the end, and I was not ready. However, Jules Ford did the most amazing job with bringing this fantastic MC series to its conclusion, wrapping it up perfectly and setting up spin offs for the future.
There were no lulls in entertainment, whether it be action or dialogue - this book made me love Atlas even more than before, he is just too funny! The MC are great to be “around,” there’s never a dull moment with that crazy lot, and I loved seeing the war come to a head. Honestly from about 70% I was filled with so much stress and adrenaline it was like watching the finale of Sons of Anarchy! It was just all so well written, I had no idea how it would go down or who would make it out.
The ending was bittersweet - I couldn’t have loved it more, and I’m so happy John and Elise finally got their happily ever after. Am I ready to say goodbye? Hell no!! Thankfully, I’m fairly confident we will see some familiar faces as we proceed into the new series with Hendrix’s crew, and with the O’Shea brothers (I still volunteer as tribute for Donovan), also, with the end of the epilogue, I’m very much hoping for next generation books in the future for all the Speed Demon kids!
If you haven’t read the Speed Demons yet, it’s a must! Quite possibly my favourite series of the year!
There have been 2 authors who have made me feel every emotion you can experience while reading their books & Jules Ford is one of them. This Speed Demons series has been one of my favourite series ever & I had held off on reading Dagger for 2-3 months because I was in denial of the series finishing, I get soo invested & the only thing holding me together is knowing there is soo much more ahead.
I love how in each book we still hear alot from all the other characters, I think that’s what made me more attached, you get the full family vibe, but I really loved that in this book we got a POV from each Stone boy, Kit daddy, my fave😍
John & Elise, what a heart breaking story. To be kept from your soul mate for 30years, the trauma that Leesy experienced, she really got the crap end of the stick because John still got to live a happy & fulfilled life while she suffered unknowingly. The only relief is the HEA they got, the ready made family she walked into and of course getting her daughter back plus plus.
THAT EPILOGUE THOUGH! The only thing that sucks is that we’ve got a long time til the next gen but ooh I’m soo excited for the Virginia chapter, Iceman, I’m comin for ya😍
Loved this soo much, its bittersweet, my heart is heavy but happy for the way it ended. Jules, I’ll never get over these damn Speed Demons, they were amazing, you are amazing🩵
Dagger wraps up the Speed Demons MC series with a bang! This final installment dives deep into the lives of Dagger and Elise, two characters whose love story has been marred by betrayal and secrets.
Thirty years ago, Dagger was betrayed by Elise, the woman he loved. Now, as dark forces threaten their town and their family, Dagger must confront the past and seek forgiveness. The stakes are high, and the action is intense as he fights to protect Elise and their daughter from the looming danger.
Ford does a fantastic job of capturing the emotional rollercoaster that Dagger experiences. His journey from anger to understanding is compelling, making readers root for his redemption. The rekindling of Dagger and Elise’s relationship adds a beautiful layer of second-chance love to the mix.
The book explores themes of redemption, sacrifice, and the enduring nature of love. The story strikes a nice balance between heart-pounding action and heartfelt moments, making it a page-turner.
"Dagger" is a thrilling and emotional conclusion to the Speed Demons series. If you love stories filled with love, action, and redemption, go get this book ASAP
While the storyline was good. John & Elise got their HEA which was great. I really can not find it in myself to like John, Elise, Bowie & DEFINITELY Layla.
Why? Because of Freya. Honestly, he literally ran her out and then made comments about being sad she was missing , BUT never tried to fix their relationship AND she’s never mentioned in any future family functions…when they speak of going home they miss their family, but never speak of going to visit Freya.
Yet, he just LOVED his DILs & was just over the moon Sophie was his daughter.
Gosh, I was so happy when Kennedy finally told Layla off…BUT even that was a disappointment when she just believed her justification.
Bowie sucks literal a$$ & I’ve never disliked a FMC worse than Layla.
Like WTF?
Overall, I’m heartbroken for Freya & I feel like the series should have seen a better resolution to those events.
In saying that…I hope to hear more of Freya’s story in the next series & that we find out it’s her choice to stay separate from her so called family.
This is the last book from this series and whilst I'm sad that it's the end of the Speed Demons series, I'm equally excited to see what's coming next.
Dagger and Elise had such a stretch from being seperated at ages 18 & 21 (Stone's book) and then 30 years later found each other again. Lots of good and bad things happened during this time period. A lot of misunderstandings, lies and lots more kept them from each other. They were victims of manipulation. They had a long road ahead of them before they can even think of being with each other.
Elise battled with her heart and her head each wanting different things when it came to Dagger, especially with what she went through during the last 30 years. Dagger knew he only wanted one thing and that's to amend his relationship with Elise.
The book is packed with heartache, some action, betrayal and lots, lots more.
This was such an amazing series. Looking forward to see what's coming next.
Holy smokes. Holy 👏🏼 Smokes👏🏼 I finished this book a few hours ago and I can’t shake off the effects of the book hangover. This one is going to stick with me for a very long while - in the best way possible.
Where to begin? The writing is simply beautifully done. The story that we get to immerse ourselves in is so well developed, you would swear these are real events.
Humor - laugh out LOUD kind of humor - is found throughout. Along with action, adventure, heartache, drama, and a conclusion that needed to happen. You are going to cry, both happy and sad tears. We have lots of losses and an equal amount of gains throughout.
I didn’t ever want this book to end but it does and it is perfection. I can only hope this means we will get a next gen at some point.
This beautiful series is all about the perfectly perfect imperfections of family (both biological and found) and love. The backdrop happens to be a MC. I am very much looking forward to the next series and taking this emotional journey with another Speed Demons Chapter.
Dagger is the last book in the Speed Demons MC series by Jules Ford.
I've had the privilege of ARC reading this entire series from start to finish, and it's been an incredible ride.
If you haven't read Stone yet, grab that one first and then dive back in here. John/Dagger and Elise's story begins over thirty years ago. But secrets, lies, and manipulations tear their world apart. Buckle up for this emotional journey as these two soulmates reconnect, and with the support of their family, begin to rebuild their lives while dealing with the evil that surrounds them.
"Nothing worth having ever came easy."
"You ready for an adventure, Duchess?"
This was honestly one of the best series finales I have had the pleasure of reading. While we are sad to see this chapter close for now, we are so excited for the next chapter ahead.
So so good! Wow, what a wild ride! I have read the other novels in this series and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. I was so excited to jump back into this series and I was not disappointed. I love a great second chance romance and this novel just checked all my boxes for me. I loved the dialogue and laugh out loud banter. I loved checking in with characters from the previous novels. I loved that Dagger and Elise finally were able to get their second chance. I love when a novel can make me laugh out loud, almost bring me to tears and finally leaves me with a happy heart. This novel checked all my boxes. I did not want this novel to end. I loved watching Dagger and Elise reconnect and fall in love and their chemistry was so good! I loved it! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So good!
The last book of the Speed Demons and John Stone's story. He wasn't always such understanding man. His father was well..not nice. He learned after he saw how he hurt his kids through his actions, now he's seeing how his actions impacted his relationship with his true love 35 years ago and forced her to make decisions that horribly hurt her, and them. This is the final book in this series but more from the family is coming in a different series. I can't wait. This book was amazing and heartbreaking, Jonh really brought so much on himself by the actions of his father. He wanted to make sure Elise was accepted by the club and his father hated her, called her weak. Well she's not weak now. So very good.
Dagger and Elsie after 34 years of separation they are finally getting to have their shot after all the serects have been revealed but doesn't mean that their present is fixed Elsie husband and the long life emermies are still need to be sorted before HEA can happen but this is not without sadness heartache loss and betrayal that no one can see coming until it's too late but with every great story telling the ride is so worth the pain 😢 so as the goes on the past can finally be where it needs to be in the past. If you haven't read the previous books then start with Bowie and get ready for the ride of your life as from book one to this one it is fall of great reading 📚
Have you ever read a series of books from start to finish and wish it would never end ? There's been a handful of books like that for me and this series is one of them . I've devoured every book and caught feelings for every character, I've laughed and cried and held my breath while sitting on the edge of my seat . I'm sad that this series has come to an end it's been one of the best MC series I've read . The storyline has been compelling and has given me all the feels. Jules Ford is a great storyteller and weaves her magic across the keyboard bringing life to these amazing characters. I highly recommend this series and any others she may write in the near future because I know that they will be just as brilliant as this book was .
There are many things I loved about this series. The banter, humor, and general feel of the brotherhood/sisterhood. The feeling of a disfunctional, yet loving, family is awesome.
The negatives are the repeating the same inner dialogue over and over. After a bit it gets annoying. A good 50 pages would be gone from not repeating inner dialogs.
My other negative is the constant, way too detailed, therapy. My fav books in the series were the ones without all the therapy. I understand there are times where therapy is needed, but this many in a series is excessive. It takes away from the story when it’s used over many books. Personal growth can come from many different avenues. I hope the author uses other avenues from here on out.
I discovered Jules Ford when her first book was released and fell in love with her characters. Now I’ve read the last book of this series and it’s bittersweet, but I know there will be a new series coming soon. Until then I can read these books over and over again and never get enough. I’ve laughed and I’ve cried and I’ve been mad enough that I was tempted to throw my kindle across the room. I can’t imagine a better ending. Dagger was the best of them all and the perfect ending to a fabulous series. Jules, I tip my hat to you! You are one of the best.
Jules Ford closed this chapter of the Speed Demons with such love and like always full of surprises. John aka Dagger and Elise's story was heart breaking but this reader was reminded why I read this series. 30 years is a long time to love someone but not be together. When Ms. Ford finally gave them their story I cheered like a school girl. Ms. Ford didn't just put them immediately together she gave them an emotional journey from their past to the present. Sorry the Wyoming boys chapter is done but the author did it in the perfect way full of love, danger and family. The cliffhanger has me hoping for the next generation. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I gave this book 5 stars because it was a perfect ending to this series. Which got better and better with every new book.
But I have to say, Elise wasn't my favorite. Not at all. First she was just a young girl in love, mourning her boyfriend. Than she was kind of a doormat for over 25 years until she started working as an FBI asset. John always praised her as strong, pigheaded etc. Knowing so much about her douche husband she did nothing.....
I was definitely more fan of Adele. She was fun, a bit crazy, a good friend, a great mother and a good addition to the club.
This is just me, but I would have given this book 10* if John would have recognized that Adele was the better pick.
Ok i cannot believe its the end! I loved Dagger from the very beginning and would have no problem spending christmas with him and his santa suit!
Last book was the history of him and lessey which was hearybreaking really. Dagger its back to the present and we finally see them working through it all. It shows how both have changed in there time a part and they dont just jump straight back in.
This was very much a slow burn and ties everything back up to give such an emotional ending. I'm looking forward to what other books author writes and hopefully see the gang in snippets of other stories she does.
