For the first time since coming to Rose Briar Hill, life is good, relationships are blooming and for the most part, everyone's happy.

I should have known something was on the horizon.

When something seems too good to be true, it’s normally because it is.

Of course I only got that small window of time before life decided to stir shit up again.

Will I ever be able to just be happy? Or is the universe determined to punish me for no reason.

Just when we think one problem is solved, another one arises.

One thing after another.

I just want to go to school, get good grades, love and be loved.

My relationship with Kai is solid but the more I get to know the Cross brothers, I’m starting to realize there’s a lot more hurt and pain underneath their strong exterior.

I want to be the one to make it better, to take that pain away, but the more I try, the more I’m not sure that I’m enough for all three of them.

Will I be able to accept that maybe fate doesn’t want me with all three brothers, or will my heart crash and burn?

One thing I know for sure, I’m not the kind of girl to just give up. I’ll fight where it matters. And if the universe has a problem with that, well fuck it.

The Silver Valley University books now have some real competition as my favourite Alisha Williams' series! I loved Logan's story in Broken Prince and was intrigued to see which direction Eli's book was going to go. There is so much healing in this book as Eli not only deals with the trauma of his past, but mending his relationship with Kai. Laney is still very much part of their relationship, but Eli and Kai's journey was my favourite part to read. Kai was so patient with Eli and seeing Eli become more confident and accepting of himself was very sweet.

I did find myself looking for Logan as although he did have a couple of POV chapters he was MIA for quite a bit. Logan was the focus of book one so on balance it works out but as his relationship with Laney was one of the most established at that point, I missed seeing more of their connection on page out with the Benny scenes. I still adore Benny though as well as Melissa and James. I just love how proud they are of their blended family and the adults they are becoming. Owen was also in the background but this makes sense for the character arc he is about to hit. I'm interested to see if there will be any flashbacks to this book folded into his story in book three as that guy has some serious explaining to do!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

The good, the bad, and the ugly tears 😭
Oh my gosh, right rangers of emotions in this book! The last one very much seemed to centre on Logan and his story; now this one focuses on our sweet softie Elijah 🙂 and in a roundabout way Kai 🔥 obviously the other characters do feature in this one but not necessarily as central to the main plot line in this book 👍
Elijah has had a traumatic past and this one is very much about him working through that! It’s honestly heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹 so do prepare for that and the range of emotions he has to work through 😳 there’s also connection between him and Kai that finally gets its chance to bloom and boy does it 🔥🌶️
There’s also movement to making their little family stronger with the holiday and the party but of course in usual Williams fashion when you think things are looking up there’s always something else at play 😳 this is a fast paced book that’s definitely leading into Owen’s story next ….

I don’t know how much I’m gonna spoil in this post so in case you don’t want anything even mild ones don’t read my review.

I do want to start this review off by saying I’ve read a couple other peoples reviews and one really caught my eye and I’m pointing it out because to me it seems like the person didn’t even read the book. They said that Laney was selfish and childish and immature this entire book basically and I’m confused as to where?

Laney was absolutely there for Logan and Bentley. She was there for Elijah and Kai. She tried to be there for Owen, but he wouldn’t let her. So I’m confused as to where she’s childish, immature and selfish. Because at the end of the day she keeps putting everybody above herself. The only reason she didn’t do it with Owen is because he kept literally shoving her out and not wanting her help.

In that same person’s review, they also said that Owen was kind of in the background and basically no one cared about him and that we didn’t really see anything from him or Logan and Bentley.

It really bothers me when people don’t read what an author says when they release a series. Alisha specifically said when releasing this series that each of the three books not including the prequel, was about each brother separately. Book one was about Logan and his life and Bentley, etc.. book 2 was about Elijah and Kai. Book 3 is about Owen. So of course Logan and his son and Owen weren’t really brought up much in this book because it wasn’t about them.

Logan and her already had an established relationship going into this book and they had already basically dealt with one of the biggest problems that they had. Which is Stacy.

On that same note, was she fully dealt with no, we saw that in this book. She obviously is like a bad virus that just won’t go away. And being as how this book ended as well. Her and her family are gonna continue to be a problem in the next.

Aside from all of that, we finally get to learn about Elijah‘s pass and why he is the way he is and how he and Kai were previously before Laney etc..

This book was absolutely amazing and I loved every second of it. Elijah broke my heart and he’s just the sweetest. Sweet boy is definitely an apt nickname for him. I loved seeing his relationship with Kai and Laney together and separately. It was also heartbreaking to learn about his past but I was so proud of him for wanting to conquer his demons too.

Logan and Bentley… while not the center of attention definitely were still around. When Bentley called Laney Mama ugh be still my heart. So freaking adorable. I love these two to pieces.

Ma’am I request more of James and Melissa though please. They’re adorable.

Winny and if you know you know 😉

Owen… while I wanna punch him we obviously know there’s more to the story and I can’t wait to see what he’s been hiding. Ugh I need book three please

This is a direct continuation of the series, so book one, Broken Prince, must be read first.

I really loved returning to Laney's world, and learning more about Elijah, Kai, Logan and Owen, and I love that whilst Williams gave us a lot of answers to questions raised previously, she still kept a lot in the dark, leaving us with unanswered questions that will continue to unravel through the series.

I'm a sucker for second chance and for boys falling in love, and the romance of Kai and Eli had me absolutely melting in this one. There were definite moments of kicking my feet giggling, and some absolute "awww" moments, and some moments of being near tears. There was heartbreak in this plot, but there was also so much feel-good that went with it.

Seeing more of Logan now he's able to flourish with his son was so much fun to read, even if you could feel the tension of him waiting for the other shoe to drop as you read. Benny is freaking adorable, and he's another who evoked some strong emotional responses.

I'm so curious about Owen (despite wanting to strange and/or smack him upside the head) - especially with that cliffhanger Williams left us on. I had suspicions throughout, but that definitely took me by surprise, and 100% has me eagerly awaiting the next book.

I think my favourite part of this book is that we focused more on connection and emotions, and I love that we have some demi-rep going on. This doesn't mean we're without spice - and holy hell, is it hot when it does hit - but it's definitely not as spicy as some of Williams' other works.

This one definitely hits you in the feels, but it also has me so ready for the next book - so very very curious as to the ongoings at Rose Briar Hill.

Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

Damaged Prince is a continuation from Broken Prince, beginning where it left off when Delaney is at a strip club with her mom, aunts and Winter, only to find Elijah is one of the dancers.

I love how accepting Delaney’s mom, Melissa, and James, her stepbrother’s dad, is of Delaney and her relationship with her stepbrothers and Kai.

Also, I love how Elijah is a male stripper. You don’t read a lot of books with male strippers as the MMC and I enjoyed it. It’s not your typical job and I love that Elijah has a passion and reason for doing it. My heart freaking broke for Elijah, but he has his dad and stepmom, brothers, and Kai and Delaney to support him. And Kai…love that man for defending Elijah.

I love Logan and of course, Bentley, he’s the absolute sweetest!

I liked how this book was able to focus more on Elijah and Kai, their relationship together and their relationship with Delaney, whereas the first book focused more on Delaney’s relationship with Logan and his son.

And Owen?? 🤯with that freaking ending! I’m honestly a little speechless, like WTF was that?

WC College Romance

This book was an emotional roller coaster and I couldn’t put it down!! It focuses more on Eli and working through his demons and building a relationship with not only Laney but Kai as well. You still see Logan and Benny ❤️ their relationship blossoming. But Laney is realizing that Owen may have some demons and secrets of his own. Only wanting to help but will he let her?

This book is not as spicy most of the authors other books but it was the perfect amount for this book, anything more would have been in bad taste and just adding spice to have it is always awkward and I’m glad that it wasn’t done in this book. But the spice there was delicious 🪭🔥🥵

This book deals with some difficult/disturbing topics so please check the TWs

No cheating, some OWD, and left us on a mild cliffhanger……. Can’t wait for the final book in this series!!!

All That We Carry Together

This was one of my most anticipated releases, and it absolutely delivered. Alisha has such a talent for pulling you straight into her worlds, and this story was no exception.

In this installment, Laney’s journey centers more on Eli and Kai, and I adored every second with them. Watching Eli and Kai grow not only as a couple, but alongside Laney, was such a pleasure. Eli’s past really hit me in the feels, and I loved seeing his family rally around him with so much warmth and support. Logan and Laney continue to be incredible parents to little Benny, and their dynamic added so much heart.

On the flip side, I was really disappointed in Owen this time around, and I’m crossing my fingers for a redemption arc in the next book.

I can’t wait to see how Laney and her men navigate everything life keeps throwing at them. This series has me fully invested.

Read for the last book!

This is book 2 (technically book 3 if you count the prequel novella-definitely recommend you read before starting!), of this series. I cannot wait for the third and final book to come out so we can lean about Owen!

The prequel focuses on how they all met. The first full book focuses on them meeting and Logan and Benny with Delaney. This one focuses more on Eli and Delaney and Kai. Eli's story is not for the faint of heart. Be sure to read the TW. I actually seen a review that said Kai and Eli were cousins, and that is not the case. Kai is only related by marriage. And so is the stepsiblings, so if you're good with that and unbothered, I would think cousins by marriage should be a cakewalk, but that's just my opinion.

Back to topic, Eli had a rough go of it and this book focuses mostly on his trauma and healing. I can't wait to dive into Owen next for the last book!

can’t wait for book 3!!

I went in with no expectations because Alisha had posted on her Fb that she had limited time and such.

You wouldn’t have been able to tell that she wrote this book in less than a month!

I love the way that she wove book 3s drama into the book earlyish on and was able to keep book 1s drama also in the book.

The only issue I had was I really wish I could have read Elijah telling everyone about what happened to him instead of reading it from Delaneys POV. Also feel when he talked about giving his V card to her in the prequel…. I didn’t get that sense I guess.

I felt like he had a change of personality in that matter between this book and that. Just didn’t seem like he was a V in the prequel.

Other than that *chefs kiss*

I hope we get to see more of Elijah, Delaney, and Kai together and then some Logan and her in book 3.

I do hope we get a group scene and maybe just a brother scene!!!

Hope this gets the love it deserves!

Wow what a roller coaster ride. Before I say anything else please read the trigger warnings. Your mental health matters.
We pick up right where we left off. There are hilarious moments, sobbing like a baby moments, super happy and romantic moments, and anger. I never thought I would get mad at someone (not going to spoil it) in a book. The way Alisha writes just pulls you into their world and you live in it until the last page. Which I agree with Laney… WTF is going on with you?! This book is mainly delving into Eli past, but it also is someone else’s past. There are some super spicy scenes that will have some of those clutching their pearls but others drooling. We also learn a few new things from book one and needless to say you’ll probably throw your kindle or phone or book but please don’t because then you can’t finish the book! This book was fantastic!!! I’m ready for book 3!

I love it when RH book series focuses 1 on 1 with the guys. Basically one book is the story for each guy. This is following that trend pretty much. Book 2 hits hard on the emotional rollercoaster scale. I love the blossomed relationship between Logan and Avery and Kai firmly cementing himself as part of the harem. Book 2 focuses heavily on Eli and his newly developing relationship with Avery and also the second chance type romance between him and Kai. It doesn't have a lot of spice but it is there and when it is there, oh boy is it hot! Especially Kai and Elijah. Just holy geez!

What has me twisted up inside is Owen. I'm so anxious for his story because whatever is happening is not good and it's leaving me with so many questions. I cannot wait for the next book!!

I really want to love this series but the FMC ruins it for me 😩
I didn’t like her at all in the first book. I disliked her a little less in the second book. Owen was basically nonexistent in this book, which I guess now it makes sense but throughout the entire book I’m like where’s Owen!?! He was pretty shadowed in the first book as well but not nearly as he is in the second.
I like all of the MMC’s, but I think Eli and Logan are my current favorites. But let’s be real, little Benny steals the show 🖤
I don’t want to put too much into the review but I hope Delaney has huge character growth in the next book. She’s continuously come off as childish and selfish. Doesn’t really fit a mama role to Benny buuuut we shall see. 🫣

I have been waiting for this book and so worth the wait. Please check the triggers before reading. I love the FMC Laney and her guys. This book focuses more on Elijah but we still have Logan and cute Benny, Owen, and Kai too but we learn more about Eli and some of his demons he's faced.

I love how understanding Laney is with all the guys. Elijah is such a sweet guy and had been through some horrible things. Also, we get to see that there is a bit more to him and Kai too. Oh boy some of the scenes were truly hot.

We are also seeing that Owen is struggling and has some demons of his own. Cannot wait to learn more and after the cliffhanger, I need the next one soon. Read this book and series, so good.

Loved!!

I was so excited to read this beauty. I absolutely in love with these characters and world! They are so good! Alisha is such an amazing writer and knows how to pull me into Alisha created. This one left off where the last one left me hanging. But

I really like the FMC and how her relationships are growing with the characters. I really liked that we got to know Eli and Kai more in this books. And we got to learn more about Eli and his past. I am really liking the dynamic and feel that each character is bringing something different to the table.

I can’t wait to see where the next book takes me! This is something I all remember for a long time and I’m so excited to read more!

Y’all, I love this series. What started as a sweet, but taboo series, has become thrilling and spicy too. From an idyllic trip planned with love in mind, to exposing the filthy underground of Rose Briar Hill, Laney and her men are riding a roller coaster they cannot seem to get off. Seeing the continuation of love from book 1, speaking truths and building trust with two of the other men, and a fun and spicy little side affair with some of our fave supporting characters, I couldn’t put this down! From sickly sweet love to D-R-A-M-A, this is such a good follow up to book 1. Now hurting internally waiting for book 3!

I absolutely loved the first book in this series and this second one lived up to the hype. Book 1 is Logan’s story and we get all his history and trauma, everything with Bentley. This one is focused on Eli. There are so many emotions while reading this series. These boys have had so much heartache, I just wanna cry for them. Im so happy Laney has come into their lives and is slowly helping them become better versions of themselves. Eli and Kai finally fully let their connection develop and it is 🔥 Owen was in the background but still managed to really tick me off lol. I can’t wait for his book.

This book his the emotional damage bingo card.

While this book heavily centered around Eli, you still get to see the relationship with Kai and Delaney grow and change. You also get to witness Owen's downward spiral without any rhyme or reason. The cliffy is a mild one. You can kinda guess by some of the clues that are left, but it is still a little shocking none the less. I enjoyed reading this book though.. and man did my heart break towards the end. Eli finally tells his story and spills his secrets for all.

I am ready for Owen's story now. I need to know what happens and how he got in the mess he is in right now.

read the trigger warnings

Going from the first book where Logan’s the mmc with the fight for his son. This book more concentrated on Delaneys relationship with Kai and Eli and how the relationship between Eli and Kai makes this such a beautiful read. As the relationships grow and it gets down to what happened in the past to Eli. How the secrets come out to facing it together can’t wait for book three as I’m sure the last stepbrother Owen gets his head on straight instead of causing such pain to the family and Delaney.

Really loving this series from Alisha! This is a why choose but I feel like each book is focused on one part of the relationship at a time. This time it’s the relationship amongst Kai, Eli, and Delaney. I like the dynamic of these 3 a lot and I think Eli is just the cutest, but his story really broke my heart. We still get to see a fair amount of Logan and his son which is also adorable. Owen is not around much but his part does lead to an intense cliffhanger and I’m dying to see what his deal is in the next book. Can’t wait for book 3!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️ the spice is spicing

I’ve been waiting for this book, and Alisha did not disappoint. Now I need book 3 like… yesterday. 🤣

Elijah has my whole heart.
Kia is the literal universe.
Logan? Pure swoon.
And Owen…

My heart hurts for him. I want to hug him and slap him at the same time because THIS MAN. Ughhhh. I need answers, and I need them immediately.

Also, can we talk about Laney?! I adore her. The way she shows up for everyone and helps them become their best selves—chef’s kiss.

I can’t wait for the next book. Truly, obsessing already.

Alisha always manages to get me right in the feels with her writing! Love Kai, but he makes me want to scream sometimes. So much trauma is dug up that I want to keep all of these charters in my pocket so they can not be hurt anymore lol. Elijah is so sweet! I can't get enough of him. Logan is an amazing father that just wants the world for his son and to get him away from that sorry excuse for an egg donor. Delaney does her best to keep everything together. As always, I am completely obsessed with Alisha's story's and I can't wait for the next book.

This stepbrother RH had me in a total grip! I love how it started right up where the last one ended. Such an epic scene when Delaney realizes what Eli's job is, I love it! And his work name had me absolutely CACKLING! Kai and Logan were such good boyfriends as well as Eli, I love how they cherish Delaney and they all have their own relationships. Owen definitely broke my heart though. And that cliffhanger?! Definitely an emotional roller coaster that I am all for. It aligned perfectly with the amount of spice and sweetness, making for an amazing read.

Wow! This book pulled on my heartstrings so much but it made me love the characters even more. This book has drama along with a couple of steamy scenes. Honestly with the plot of the book, I didn’t miss not having as much spice. The plot had me hooked.

Laney is a great FMC. She has such a big heart. This book made me love Kai and Elijah even more. I can’t wait to get more of Owen’s story. I know there has to be more to what he’s doing but I just need to know.

If you’re looking for a RH that will pull on your heartstrings with a great plot then you need to read this now!

Ughhh this one was an emotional ride. I really love this series of Alisha's and was so excited to see book two is here! But I can tell you, my heart was not ready. Elijah absolutely wrecked me. But him and Delaney and Kai - seeing the dynamic between the three of gave me hope. There was a lot of character development in this one, but it absolutely kept me hooked.

Definitely cannot wait for the next one. I need more info about Owen 👀👀

This was such an emotional book! It mainly centers around Lainey, Elijah and Kia. Laney is figuring out dating more than one guy, she is solid with Kia, but still working out things with the other three. I loved getting to know Elijah more and sad for the stuff he has been through. We get to see some of Logan and a little of Owen, but Owen is going through something. This was such a good book and i am loving this series so far and these characters.

I absolutely loved Damaged Prince! The squeal I squealed when we found out Eli and Logan had feelings for each other as well! This book focused more on the relationship of Delaney, Elijah and Logan but it worked really well for the story. And that cliffhanger with Kai I can tell in the next book we are finally going to get some answers on what is going on with him! Another great addition from Alisha!

This was so good we pick up where we left off in book 2, I loved getting to see Delaney’s relationships with some of the guys continue to progress, seeing Elijah open up to her about his past and him finally getting justice while getting to see Kai and Elijah take the steps to develop their individual relationship. I can’t wait to see what happens next that cliffhanger left me with more questions and I am eager to see how Delaney handles this new info and helps Owen.

Mind your cliffhangers, kids, this is a big one!!!

Damaged Prince picks right up where the first left off. The swerves in this are just as good and just as shocking as the first. Alisha weaves an entire garment of chaos, violence, destruction with strips of dedication, care and true love and she does it with a stroke of the best fountain pen. Phenomenal job!

This was a good entry in the series. The book focuses more on the connections the characters have. We are getting to know them better. I liked seeing how Laney's relationships with the men are growing. And I loved seeing Kai and Eli form a relationship. The ending drops a bombshell and I can't wait to see what happens next.
