Thrown to the wolves. When the moon is bright and full, the werewolves wait for their tithes.
If a woman is meant to be a tithe, there are signs. A hunger within her to be chased and caught, a need for what the wolves will take from her, a body that changes to be receptive to the sheer force of their savage desire. For her, it will be an overwhelming pleasure, so intense that she will be nearly as mad with it as the beasts are who take her.
When the morning comes, the tithes go home, some with werewolf babies sown in their bellies, some not.
It’s a rare woman who bonds, who goes cross-eyed with the frantic want for reuniting with some wolf that had his way with her under that wild and gleaming moon. It’s an even rarer woman who bonds to more than one wolf.
When Clementine feels it, she knows she should fight the urge. She knows she should cling harder to her life here, inside the walls of the city, safe from the beasts outside. But maybe she’s always known she belonged out there, out in the wilderness with her wolfmen.
Clemetine is a tithe and the full moon is upon her and awaiting her the werewolves shes destined to meet, only she has more than one to bond with Paladin, Kestrel and Lazarus. Well written steamy hot desires, bonding, dub-con, dark themes and more.
This didn't really do it for me. Def read the triggers / warnings if male on male and rape is not your thing.
I tried to get into it but the whole story felt disjointed and awkward to me and there didn't seem to be much of a story and the way the smut was written kind of annoyed me (ex. "He fucked me and fucked me and it felt phenomenally good, all over good, and my pussy was so pleased to have him back inside me. I felt filled and complete. I thought to myself that this was what I needed, to be fucked like this daily, that it settled something inside me") it just felt like I was being told what was happening but didn't really feel it.
It's definitely someone's cup of tea, but not mine.
Jove Chamber's book Feral Werewolves, is a highly engaging story in which a social been divided into two parts separated by a wall: humans and Werewolves. Once a month a group of people (mostly women) are sent across the wall to spend a night getting "ravished" by the Werewolves by the so-called Alpha and his Mate just made a new rule. The Tithes are no longer communal property, they are to spend quality time with individual Wolverine in hopes of finding Mates.
The lead female found her mates, but they agreed they need to send the female back across the wall. But, after she spends a few days with the humans, she realizes that's not where she belongs, and she makes her way back to her Werewolves home on the next full moon.
By the time the third full moon comes around, even the lead Werewolf has stopped saying the female needs to go back to the humans, and by the time they go outside to play in the yard they're all attacked and the female is kidnapped and taken the Alpha's compound. The Werewolves hurry over to another Werewolve's home that just found a mate to ask for help and found his Mate gone too. All the new mates/tithes were gathered up and taken away by the new Alpha as the previous Alpha and his Mate were being held captive.
One of the three original Mates goes on a scouting trip, and returns with their Mate. He also told the Werewolves helping the new Alpha they had until sundown to switch sides or he was coming back to kill every one of them. After he got their Mate back to their neighbor's house the other Wolves started showing up. When it was realized the Alpha didn't know they had left, the newly joined members went back to the Alpha to get the rest of the Mates and bring them back to the farmhouse, which they did less than an hour later.
Everyone then goes back to compound, makes sure all threats are neutralized then make the leading female the next "Alpha" with her mates as Enforces.
Feral Werewolves is nonstop action from beginning to end, and touches on sensitive topics such as physical abuse and sexual assault. If readers have problems reading these triggers, it is highly recommended they nothing book, however if readers are able to read these, they will be in for one heck of a ride.
Marked as a tithe, Clementine (h)is thrust beyond the safety of city walls into a world ruled by werewolves, where she must navigate primal desires, intense emotions, and dangerous power dynamics. As she forms bonds with three powerful wolves, Paladin (H), Kestrel (H), and Lazarus (H), Clementine finds herself torn between fear and desire, and between the woman she was and the one she’s becoming. Through love, trauma, and survival, Clementine and her mates must confront not only their dark pasts but also the external forces that threaten their fragile peace. As walls fall between the human and werewolf worlds, Clementine emerges as a leader, pushing for equality and control over her own fate. Ultra-hot and steamy dark RH werewolf-human romance, with noncom/dubcon, assault, MM, shifted sexy action, and more, exploring complex relationships, love, transformation, power, trauma, healing, and connection.
I came here for the ‘sex while in werewolf form” and this did not disappoint 🐺
The story was done in a unique way, with unique characterisations of the MMC’s and FMC and a complicated relationship between them. We’re introduced into a dystopian world with primitive politics that evolve throughout the story. There is plenty of smut in both werewolf form and also in ‘human’ form, including lots of ⚔️.
Some of the tropes you’ll find:
✅ Dystopian ✅ Werewolves and mates ✅ MMMF (with lots of MM action as well) ✅ Light breeding (more, “risky behaviour” like, “I know I need to pull out but it feels too good” vibe)
Some triggers to be aware of: ❌ Non-con, dub con, and abuse (though mostly not by the MMC’s), unhealthy coping mechanisms, brief mention of miscarriage (of a secondary character, not FMC).
Overall I enjoyed the story and would recommend if the above interests you!
This book was purely a whim because well I love a good shifter book, and this having a dystopian society and is RH was just a bonus! I adored the MMCs especially Palladian as his character growth was amazing, Kestrel and Lazarus were almost like grumpy sunshine type of men but all characters including Clementine had a lot of trauma to overcome . This book is definitely one that you will want to read the TW's on as there are some sensitive spots and you need to have an open mind about monsters and humans. But, that said this book had me pulled in and I read it all within a couple hours. I really liked how the ending was done with full closure on what happened after everything settled, how the 2 worlds merged and the happiness of the tithes.
I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I was hooked to the story from the start- both fascinated with the tithes and the wolves, and with Clementine- her childhood with her father, and her stepmom sabotaging anything that was about her, and what would befall her when she learned she was a tithe herself. I loved Lazarus, Paladin, and Kestrel. I liked the heat (and shifted action) and the bonding. And it's definitely not sweetness and flowers. I loved all the MM content. How everyone has some kind of trauma and restrictions. There's tension and danger and violence. Noah was actually one of my favorite characters, and he was Clementine's friend, not one of the mates. A fascinating and fast-paced story with a satisfying ending. 5 stars.
Clementine is a tithe - one with the genetic make up to survive being with a werewolf, so by law she’s required to venture beyond the wall on the full moon. On her first full moon, she attracts the attention of three werewolves, and feels a pull toward them. Kestrel, Lazarus and Paladin are a pack - while Clementine is their destined mate, they don’t want her to give up her civilized life, so they reject her. But she’s not giving up… Thus sets up the story, but so much more happens in this thought-provoking story. Jove Chambers’ books always leave you pondering societal issues and gender inequality. I really enjoyed this one - both because it made me think and because it has plenty of heat. A solid read.
DAMN! What a book. A book that leaves you thinking, that makes you sad and that makes you happy(ish?). A very dark book. A heavy read with so many triggers and so many steamy moments. I had to force myself to take breaks to digest, to tell myself that I was reading a story. But it's a story so close to what human beings can be that it's scary. But we can also be great. It's a RH with MM, dub-con, non-con and shifters. Has some similarities with omegaverse. It ends with a "Sweet, beautiful boredom..." HEA.

This is a dark RH romance that has everything in it. It follows Clementine who is a tithe. This means that she is fit to be given to the werewolves, who live outside the wall, for the full moon. I was gripped by this story because you were not quite sure which direction it would head it. This was a rare story, in the sense that it was very thought provoking. This book has quite a few triggers which add to the darkness of the story. This author was not afraid to tackle difficult situations. Plus, there were some unexpected twists and turns with the characters and the plot line. This was the first book that I have read by this author, but it won’t be the last. This is a great 5 star read.
I thought I knew what would happen in Feral Werewolves but I couldn't have been more wrong. There is so much trauma. It doesn't go into crazy detail (thank the gods) but it's there and the characters trying to deal with it is traumatic in its own right. I cannot stress enough to check the TW. The spice is off the charts when it happens, and I appreciate how realistic everyone is with each other. The ending does kind of come out of nowhere. I guess I expected more build up, but with how disengaged the narration can be sometimes, it ends up working out.
If you like crazy steamy stories about wolves and their mates, this is a good story to read. But beware that it is not exactly a light story but it was a blast to read and not like the usual mated wolf story but instead so much more. It grabbed me from the beginning and had to watch it all play out and see how it ended. Some steam, surprises, drama, a dash of intrigue to make things even more interesting, and a bit of a dystopian feel to spice things up. Loved it.
I went into this book thinking it would be the same as all the other shifter books, and the elements of that are not at all disappointing! Loved the story line and the spice level is above par excellent! By the end of the book I feel like the story gave an insightful look at human nature and surviving in a less than optimal environment. Highly recommend!
I would categorize this as a heavy read. Hit a lot of emotions for me. There's quite a few triggers but there is a happy ever after. I love reverse Harem books that's just my forte.

Despite having a TON of "on screen" intimate encounters, this wasn't really a hot/spicy read. If anything, it was more a pondering of what people do when denied connection and basic rights.
Writing wasn't very good, kinda of cringe and the laws or rules kept changing. None of the mcs stood out or seemed to have much of a personality. Also tired of writing authors that insert backdoor sex with no real lube- semen is not lube.
I can’t even properly describe this one but I do recommend you read the trigger warnings at the start. This has darkness and usually I don’t feel it much but I really felt it in this one. That being said it made the ending so good!! Just know it ends with a HEA!!
